Thanks so much man. I used to watch your videos a while back then I took a break and have applied most of the things I've learnt to my engineering work. Now I'm coming back and still finding that there's so much more to learn.
Very good video, very clear it can help for troubleshooting by creating several version on several parts of a same program... interesting! Many thanks Best regards
Hello and thank you so much for everything you do!! I have a question, have you made a video showing how to upgrade a project to a newer version of TIA? I just got V18 and want to upgrade an V14 project.
thanks Philip for the video, looking for this . I have a one question, whether we can call the same version multiple times to the program block or only one time.
ok. upgrading is very clear, but what if i want to get back to older version of my type? for example i have 10 fbs of the same type in many places of my program and i want to downgrade all of them to older version without deleted new types versions in project library. how to do that?
Is there any way to not spending too much time on programming in TIA,like by importing external source files or using version control, thanks and always.
The most used thing for the future is something called "TIA Openness"... which is in a kind a TIA API. I personally have not used it yet, but the purpose of it is to automate programming tasks
Please describe also why programer should use profibus when same time there is a profinet. I know differences between these but seen too many projects with profibus, but I'm using profinet as usual..
hehehe 2k has struck . So fast.. Besides thanks for this lecture. I can remember playing with that concept some time ago. I didn't go in depth unfortunately , mainly because I struggle to grasp the difference between project and global libraries. I was only able to add libraries from Siemens web portal and never tried to exchange with somebody or modify it.

Im about to learn something new😊
Looking at all the save as i made for the same project and wondering how to start deleting them and using versioning and types instead
😅 simply try using it from now on. No need to go back in time!
@@hegamurl7434 lol my project history looks so cluttered... going forward i think your method is the right direction

great
The thing on top is called the formal parameters 1:24 ?
Sounds good! I only know the german word "Formalparameter", which is a combination of "Form" (german for shape) and parameter
@@hegamurl7434 ..not a liverpool fan but u r in my book with jurgen klopp..u guys make the language very interesting 🙂
what happened if your college made 0.0.3 and you made it too? After that one of you should open it and get double 0.0.3.

If you can make telegram channel that will be great.
Good Idea, maybe I'll make one!
