I think you should know some things about this movie:
A) it won the japanese oscars for music...yes the music was that good
B ) the director mamoru hosoda is basically spielberg for japanese except in darker way(most of his movies made me depressed)
C ) they made for a first time i ever saw a really great job with casting in dubbing too...original actress wasnt a va(like someone mentioned) she was a musical singer...and thank god for that...and eng version also hired someone who CAN actually sing 🎊🎊👍👍

Sadly, the French version (Belle Medley FRA) is gone from TH-cam. Rumours said that Louane's (Belle's French VA) company likes to copyright works published by them, so the songs considered as theirs instead. There are reuploads, but it's not the same like the original 🥲

Example "Gale of Song" is only from the point of where the vocals start.

Gales of Song gives so much emotion almost like the feeling of being swept by gust after gust.
A Million Miles Away tugs and pulls your heart strings you can really feel your tears welling up to your eyes and when she hit that "la la la la laaaa" it made you blink those tears down the instrumentals almost feels like a soft pat on the back as if you're being comforted from everything you've been through.
Lend Me Your Voice feels like an unrequited love.

I recommend listening to the Japanese singer she had a different touch to it but nice that they chose a great match for the english voice actor

I saw this in UK cinemas TWICE, when it came out.
had to admit it, the last song made me cry. I recommend watching the anime Belle
it's a type of beuty and the beast story in the not to distant future that goes between there real world, and a virtual reality that create's an avitar based on 1's biometric's.
This is a beautiful movie. I hope there are many more like it in the future. The amount of work that was put into the music and the animation really pays off. The story is excellent too, but it has a lot of issues it tries to deal with in a two-hour film. I had to keep my mind focused and following the plot, or I could easily have been lost. But it is a masterpiece overall, I highly recommend it, and I think it should have gotten some kind of prestigious award.

Just a thought, if you want to do a breakdown maybe listen to it to the end once AND then go back to pause it alot for breakdown, breakdown without the full experience is just feels off..
I disagree personally, I like that he kept his comments relatively short and so his pausing never felt like it overstayed its welcome + it would definitely shoo a lot of viewers away by the time he would get to the breakdown if he saved it entirely for the end/latter half of the video. I think hearing his thoughts as they come is a lot nicer

i really love this movie and the music is awesome.
Hmm... If we are honest here, this movie should deserve true meaning of "remake" since it actually managed to take hold from us and give us shivers. It's been really long time when movie has actually touched people so deeply like this. No need for extra narration, no political agendas, no forced "message" or explosive cgi. Literally movie worth of time.

Loved your reaction. The movie was beautiful. Although I have watched the Japanese Dub, The english version have beautiful vocals. Props to the animation studio aswell. You are one of only few I know that does reaction videos to soundtracks and as a newbie, I'm enjoying the experience so far! I'm mainly more hyper when it comes to anime series soundtracks such as attack on titan, hunter x hunter, jujutsu kaisen, violet evergarden etc. If possible, I would love to see your reaction on demon slayer series soundtracks. I've discovered the series music composers, Go Shiina/Yuki Kajiura a year and months ago. Both composers are really talented. Both are my top 5 composers. This cut up video did a severe disservice to the songs. I highly recommend listening to the individual FULL versions. I absolutely love the Japanese a tad more than the English, but both are gorgeous! 🥰

If Disney’s can based their movies on old folks (example: Beauty and the Beast is based on the fairytale “La Belle et la Bete”) then Belle can be based on something that already exist.
In fact it was Jim Kim who worked for her character design. He was the first Korean animator to work for Disney.

The japanese version has more views tho. The main song "U" made by millennium parade a side project band of Daiki Tsuneta from King Gnu.

They are different songs. The first, third and fourth are not the full song only parts cut together.

Whoever edited the video ruined the last song. Cut too many parts. Could of just cut the pauses, but nope. They cut chunks of the song. Love the "La-la-la" part that was missing there.
