They don’t know enough quite yet…once they do and it clicks they won’t believe it. It’s a thought not a belief. Nothing wrong with that until they truely understand the truth and history of Islam. The Aurah (dress code) for men is in between the belly button and the knee. Men can not show any part of their body below the belly button and above the knee in public. However, they can in front of their wife. Also, they can wear shorter clothes in front of other men and their mehram (people of the opposite gender that they can not marry e.g. their mother, sister, daughter, aunty etc) but can not be naked (for obvious reasons). It is also important to note that they can show a doctor any part of the body for medical reasons (it is preferred for the doctor to be the same gender e.g. a male doctor for a man and a female doctor for a woman but if there is no option then a doctor of the opposite gender can see/treat that part of the body)
I just add a little, men are also not allowed to wear clothes that are the opposite gender, tight, transparent and too excessive

correct dress code: trousers above your ankle and must be below your knee which is sunnah (prophet muhammad s.w.a.s way). however, the general idea is to dress up modestly as long it's not intimidating to others, in other words, people must not feel uncomfortable around you.

إِن تَكْفُرُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ عَنكُمْ ۖ وَلَا يَرْضَىٰ لِعِبَادِهِ الْكُفْرَ ۖ وَإِن تَشْكُرُوا يَرْضَهُ لَكُمْ ۗ وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَىٰ ۗ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُم مَّرْجِعُكُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ۚ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ [٧:الزمر]
note the translation feature is not very accurate when it comes to Quran (it says female, ) because the word is in feminine (like soul, in Arabic is nafs and it is feminine word) and the automatic translation assume it refer to a female.. but it is not..
that is the correct one , "If you disbelieve - indeed, Allah is Free from need of you. And He does not approve for His servants disbelief. And if you are grateful, He approves it for you; and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you about what you used to do. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts."

For muslim men the minimum dress code is from the belly button to the knees ,can't be tight and the clothes may not resemble the clothes of woman. Hope that answers the question :)

the dress code for men in the shafi madhab (school of thought) and Allah knows best.....which of the 4 they are all very similar slight differences of interpretation is ---- the navel to the knee (belly button line to under the knee cap) covered means you shouldn't be able to tell what color the persons skin is underneath -- fit form fitting would be disliked and if it was completely tight it is impermissible a sin for an area which consists of the awra nakedness ....loose is better

عَنْ أَبِيْ هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُوْلِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ :يَا رَسُوْلَ اللهِ، مَنْ أَحَقُّ النَّاسِ بِحُسْنِ صَحَابَتِي؟ قَالَ أُمُّكَ، قَالَ ثُمَّ مَنْ؟ قَالَ أُمُّكَ، قَالَ ثُمَّ مَنْ؟ قَالَ أُمُّكَ، قَالَ ثُمَّ مَنْ، قَالَ أَبُوْكَ
"Someone came to Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and said, 'O Rasulullah, to whom should I serve first?' The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam replied, 'Your mother!' And the person asked again, 'Then who else?' The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam replied, 'Your mother!' The person asked again, 'Then who else?' He answered, 'Your mother.' The person asked again, 'Then who else,' the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam answered, 'Then your father.'" (HR Al Bukhari and Muslim).
The hadith above shows that love and affection for a mother should be 3 times greater than for a father. Because, a mother has to go through many difficulties while carrying a child.
"Difficulties during pregnancy, when giving birth, as well as difficulties when breastfeeding and caring for their child. This is only experienced by a mother, not a father,"

Men cannot flaunt their muscle (shirtless) in front of women, they can however go shirtless if they are doing manual labor as long as from the knee to belly button is covered with clothing. Men cannot wearing clothing that passes their ankles, even when in private you cannot do that, women however can. Note if you are alone or with your spouse, you can flaunt your muscles for your wife 😅, or even be naked at home with your wife and she can also do that as long as she is alone or with her husband. The minimum a muslim man must cover is from the navel to the knee. For muslim women, in front of non mahram (strangers), they are required to cover everything except face, hands and feet. It's all about modesty

وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا بِلِسَانِ قَوۡمِهِۦ لِيُبَيِّنَ لَهُمۡۖ فَيُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهۡدِي مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ

وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مُوسَىٰ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ أَنۡ أَخۡرِجۡ قَوۡمَكَ مِنَ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ وَذَكِّرۡهُم بِأَيَّىٰمِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٖ شَكُورٖ
آية: 6
وَإِذۡ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوۡمِهِ ٱذۡكُرُواْ نِعۡمَةَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ إِذۡ أَنجَىٰكُم مِّنۡ ءَالِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ يَسُومُونَكُمۡ سُوٓءَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ وَيُذَبِّحُونَ أَبۡنَآءَكُمۡ وَيَسۡتَحۡيُونَ نِسَآءَكُمۡۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكُم بَلَآءٞ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ عَظِيمٞ
آية: 7
وَإِذۡ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمۡ لَئِن شَكَرۡتُمۡ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمۡۖ وَلَئِن كَفَرۡتُمۡ إِنَّ عَذَابِي لَشَدِيدٞ
آية: 8
وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰٓ إِن تَكۡفُرُوٓاْ أَنتُمۡ وَمَن فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَمِيعٗا فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَغَنِيٌّ حَمِيدٌ
آية: 9
أَلَمۡ يَأۡتِكُمۡ نَبَؤُاْ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ قَوۡمِ نُوحٖ وَعَادٖ وَثَمُودَ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُهُمۡ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُۚ جَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ فَرَدُّوٓاْ أَيۡدِيَهُمۡ فِيٓ أَفۡوَٰهِهِمۡ وَقَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا كَفَرۡنَا بِمَآ أُرۡسِلۡتُم بِهِۦ وَإِنَّا لَفِي شَكّٖ مِّمَّا تَدۡعُونَنَآ إِلَيۡهِ مُرِيبٖ
آية: 10
۞ قَالَتۡ رُسُلُهُمۡ أَفِي ٱللَّهِ شَكّٞ فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ يَدۡعُوكُمۡ لِيَغۡفِرَ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمۡ وَيُؤَخِّرَكُمۡ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ مُّسَمّٗىۚ قَالُوٓاْ إِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا بَشَرٞ مِّثۡلُنَا تُرِيدُونَ أَن تَصُدُّونَا عَمَّا كَانَ يَعۡبُدُ ءَابَآؤُنَا فَأۡتُونَا بِسُلۡطَٰنٖ مُّبِينٖ
آية: 11
قَالَتۡ لَهُمۡ رُسُلُهُمۡ إِن نَّحۡنُ إِلَّا بَشَرٞ مِّثۡلُكُمۡ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَمُنُّ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦۖ وَمَا كَانَ لَنَآ أَن نَّأۡتِيَكُم بِسُلۡطَٰنٍ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
آية: 12
وَمَا لَنَآ أَلَّا نَتَوَكَّلَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ وَقَدۡ هَدَىٰنَا سُبُلَنَاۚ وَلَنَصۡبِرَنَّ عَلَىٰ مَآ ءَاذَيۡتُمُونَاۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُتَوَكِّلُونَ
آية: 13
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِرُسُلِهِمۡ لَنُخۡرِجَنَّكُم مِّنۡ أَرۡضِنَآ أَوۡ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِي مِلَّتِنَاۖ فَأَوۡحَىٰٓ إِلَيۡهِمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ لَنُهۡلِكَنَّ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
آية: 14
وَلَنُسۡكِنَنَّكُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامِي وَخَافَ وَعِيدِ
آية: 15
وَٱسۡتَفۡتَحُواْ وَخَابَ كُلُّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٖ
آية: 16
مِّن وَرَآئِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ وَيُسۡقَىٰ مِن مَّآءٖ صَدِيدٖ
آية: 17
يَتَجَرَّعُهُۥ وَلَا يَكَادُ يُسِيغُهُۥ وَيَأۡتِيهِ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ مِن كُلِّ مَكَانٖ وَمَا هُوَ بِمَيِّتٖۖ وَمِن وَرَآئِهِۦ عَذَابٌ غَلِيظٞ
آية: 18
مَّثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِرَبِّهِمۡۖ أَعۡمَٰلُهُمۡ كَرَمَادٍ ٱشۡتَدَّتۡ بِهِ ٱلرِّيحُ فِي يَوۡمٍ عَاصِفٖۖ لَّا يَقۡدِرُونَ مِمَّا كَسَبُواْ عَلَىٰ شَيۡءٖۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلضَّلَٰلُ ٱلۡبَعِيدُ
آية: 19
أَلَمۡ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ إِن يَشَأۡ يُذۡهِبۡكُمۡ وَيَأۡتِ بِخَلۡقٖ جَدِيدٖ
آية: 20
وَمَا ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ بِعَزِيزٖ

Assalamu alaikum, may peace be on u guys the rational believer is a decent channel for Islamic videos if u guys are interested in Islam and especially the army of satan series, Dr Zakir naik is also great for explaining the whole quran and the difference between Islam and Christianity. And the highly underrated channel project zamzam imo, they go through each chapter of the quran and kinda like break it apart
Most of Islamic Knowedge that is transmitted is from Prophets wife. It must be said that from 12th century women in muslim societies in post mongol invasion lost a lot of earlier rights.Apart from minimum requisite, clothing should not be too tight or lose that exposes or degrades sense of modesty. Clothing should not be source of arrogance and it must alligne with local sensibilities.
Dress code for men, just like you dress on is also what muslim take on... Easy and simple
