John Brzenk born 1964, is an ex professional armwrestler from the United States. He competes in the Ultimate Armwrestling League and is the current UAL Right-Handed Champion . He won the 2015 World Armwrestling League right handed Heavyweight championship. Among experts Brzenk is widely regarded, and was also officially named by the Guinness Book of World Records, as the "Greatest Armwrestler of All Time.
"Leviathan" Richard Lupkes born October 5th 1956 is a multiple time armwrestling world champion and former professional wrestler. He is currently a contender in the UAL's superheavyweight division (right-hand).

I saw on YT that there use to be a sitting down arm wrestling competition. It also said Richard never lost a match at that style
Yeah he was undefeated in the sit down format where power comes more into play than technique
Saw Richard in Albany, NY at sitdown nationals in 90s smash everyone and then decades later in Virginia sitdown nationals. Same result.
@@SDSen I mean, its always about power. Its just plays more into his strengths its like he always gets center in sit down from the go.
@@jakobstisen6366 what I mean is technique takes a back seat as you can not utilize it in the way you do for regular stand up arm wrestling, and when that cancels out Lupkes will dominate there was nobody back then that came close to his raw power
@@SDSen So Lupkes has more raw power in his bicep than Denis or Raw power in his cup than Levan or even more Raw power in his pronation than Devon?
If its down was more popular, then new technique's would arise.
I can say for myself, that I have lagging back pressure on the table, but a strong hand, cup and so on so I have containment, but in sit down I suddenly have backpressure that is quite good and I am hard to pin now.
At the same time it seems like pronation do not matter as much.
In the same way I think, new people would just hit the top or at least the ranks would change a little.
Richard was a monster , but Brzenk was superhuman .
Size matters alot in a sport like this ...

There’s no comparison. John was half richard’s size and was beating all of them. Richard was great but John was and continues to be a beast killer.
