I agree 100% they should really research which are the popular episodes and make an effort on bringing everyone to react to it. Luckily everyone was there for the “dinner party” episode. But there’s more big episodes coming up.
The first aid scene is my favourite because how it perfectly it highlights some of the characters and their quirks from the Office: Michael’s comments, Kevin’s call it comment, Andy singing, Kelly dancing, the passive nature how the rest of the office sings along, Creed’s wallet comment, Dwight… being Dwight 😂
THE FIRE IS SHOOTING AT US!!! Man, this is one of my favorite lines from this show that stuck with me ever since. Every time I turn on my oven and it makes a sound (due to metal heating and expanding) I always saw this line.
I know it’s not their fault, and there’s a lot of moving pieces and personal lives going on, but every time there’s **that** episode for some reason like half the couch is missing lol
This episode aired after the Super Bowl in 2009, hence the Cloris Leachman, Jessica Alba and Jack Black cameos. Some of the social media discussion about it was wild, since so many viewers had never seen the show before. People were actually suggesting the movie parts were all in Andy's dream. Like, it's shot documentary style! How would the camera crew get footage of Andy's dreams?!
It's ok to play devil's advocate sometimes, but he always is. And he weirdly never goes as hard on the male characters as the female characters. Everyone else seems to be very unbiased and will admit when someone does something wrong, but this guy (especially when it comes to Michael or Dwight) he has the most based takes on something objectively bad. It makes me think back when Michael told Jan that Pam walked in on him. Jan confronted Pam because she thinks she walked in on a naked Michael on purpose. Then Pat calls Jan Crazy. He then defended Michael when the whole group said Michael shouldn't have said to come in. He once defended Michael when he was weird to Pam by saying "it's ok she is smiling." like bro what ! It's adding up every week and its not consistent or ETHICAL lol HR????
Mad props to the cameraman's assistant. it was not scripted that the cameraman be knocked over by Kevin. The cameraman's assistant grabbed him and pulled him back up immediately, which given that the cameraman was carrying a heavy camera and not light himself, is mighty impressive.
The taking the face off the doll was a reference to “Silence of the lambs”. He was being Hannibal Lector. Dwight even said “Clarice” as he turned to reveal the face. Good reference to the movie. Lastly, Dwight mentions in the interview with Wallace that he wanted to test it because he saw it in the movie.
Arguably my favorite cold open ever on this show. It’s so, so damn good. 😂 The whole two-parter episode is genuinely top tier writing and not just as a comedy series, but television writing in general. It flows so well and delivers wholesome alongside cringe effortlessly. Wish Suraj had been here.
This is the episode that got me hooked on the Office. It had been on my radar and friends liked it and I saw clips and bits and pieces of the show. But this episode was after the Super Bowl and I sat down and watched it with friends/
This episode's cold open was my introduction to The Office. It really benefited from airing after that year's Super Bowl and having some good promos play during the game.
To be fair, a lot of people like me confuse "I Will Survive" with "Staying Alive". I thought the intro Michael did WAS the intro and it was funny because it was slow. I didn't realize it was a different song!🤣
absolutely criminal that suraj isnt here for stress relief. been looking forward to this episode in particular ever since i realized yall were reacting to the show😢. love you guys and all the content you pump out for us
My side hustle is teaching CPR classes and this is one of my fave eps because I’ve literally had classes almost this badly behaved… the worst classes are elementary teachers, they won’t stfu and they do immature stuff with the dummies (and yes the feedback dummies are expensive af lol)
For no particular reason at all, at least none relating to any scene in this episode, you guys should watch 'Silence of the Lambs'. It might also be interesting to see if Pat's sorry excuse for a moral compass aligns with any of the characters as well.
This episode aired after the Super Bowl. NBC wanted them to have big starts in it because a lot of people were gonna watch, so the creators got Jack Black, Jessica Alba, and Cloris Leachman to shoot a fake movie that the characters would watch

One of the best T.V. show openings ever! The Superbowl Ep! Dwight is GOATed in this one! Hilarious all throughout - Michael as well "Oh my God, it's happening!" 😂😂😂 Great reaction as usual Normies! Watching the next one immediately - Double Drop!
