Hey Emma real quick where was the torn frenulum? A frenulum is just a thin string of connection tissue so there's a bit of a difference between the frenulum in the middle of your top lip inside your mouth and the frenulum by your genitals.

I never get the shower thing. My son wet bed once which was my fault as i left his nappy off and he put himself for a nap. Cold showers dont clean urine smells properly. Surely. My eldest only wet bed 3 or 4 times in her life and i was too tired i put her in my bed until her matress dried out etc from what i remember. And boy i struggled back then but i never put them in a cold shower. I never get it

@@laurensparanormalreviewsan860 What do you mean? You don't get the shower thing. It's not used to actually clean them. First of all, actually, cleaning a human body is not about the heat. Or temperature of the water and because clearly we can't stand water hot enough. That would actually kill any bacteria. Or germs, it's about rinsing that bacteria. Or germs or dirt off of your body? That's what the water does. But second of all, it's not about actually cleaning them. It's about a parent (caregiver) being cruel, and torturing them, and punishing them for something they're not truly in control of. 😢

I would even go as far as saying he can't do his job anymore if he gets so numbed by all the tragic cases that he doesn't feel anything about them. It's important that people who work in our justice system are, yes, objective and just, but also empathic and not completely numb and robotic.

This infuriates me. I can’t get approved to foster because I have been treated for bipolar ocd, and ptsd. I have worked hard on becoming emotionally healthy, always take my meds, and have a system in place that makes sure that I am on track. The irony is that, because I have sought treatment and conquered my demons, I cannot be approved for foster care, but someone with multiple severe issues and/or personality disorders, who hide their problems or refuse treatment, can get approved and often go on to abuse, and even murder, the children left in their care. Poor kids.

We passed, but we were MADE to go through it. We have social services input with our grandson for 13yrs!!! 🤬 ....my son now has sole custody of his son - thank God!! But IF my son 'didn't work out' they do not necessarily place the children with the grandparents, hence we had to go through this process. I've NOTHING good to say about social services - they let our grandson 'endure' 13yrs of crap!! Child protection register TWICE for neglect??? Please!?!?!?! Fight for your children, grandchildren - it took along time, but we got there - eventually!

They're always claiming they want to keep kids with family, yet when they have this opportunity, they decide they know best and put the kids with people they don't even know or have never even met. It makes 0 sense to me at all. You are the grandparents that will give them the love and care they could ever want. Statistics prove men are better as single dads than single mum's. Social services are so sexist. My son's baby mum is a drug addict, has a cleaner paid for by the state. She's only 22 years old. Her mum has the child and is paid ,£100's to look after her grandson. My son can't have him because he lives at home and he's 22. His drug test was clean. He went to court and could have him for 1 hour in a contact center every 6 weeks. The child's mum 3 times a week? The grandma is medically diagnosed schizophrenia. Social services want her to have him. Also we think her husband was involved in a serious crime, new identity, no family. Doesn't want to go to Liverpool but very interested in Liverpool. Said he's from down south but no accent. Violent when drunk. He's looking after our grandson. Social services are corupt

I will never be able to understand how these people are capable of harming children. I'm glad you cover so many of these cases, because I certainly wouldn't know anything about the vast majority of them without it. Some channels I follow even avoid them, because the cases are so upsetting to them. They are upsetting and these kids deserve to have their names known.
I'm happily child-free but I still have little children in my life. A couple of months ago I sat with a friend's 5-year-old because he wanted to make a card for me and wanted me to choose the stickers for it. Last summer I gave a 3-year-old a lynx plushie because she loves big cats and lynx is her favourite one. I have never given anyone a better gift, I swear, after seeing that little girl hug that plushie so tightly and smile. That's what children of that age are like, and the thought of *stomping* on them, beating them and torturing them... People who are capable of doing that are sick and broken.
I'm just a little confused about that comment about "certain left-leaning people". Maybe it's the fact that I'm not from the UK so that I don't know what you're referring to, but I personally always vote for the left in my country and absolutely like a judge who shows how disgusted he is by the actions of these monsters. I don't know any leftists who would oppose to a judge showing humanity.

As an adult I’ve wondered how many other children he went on to molest after me.
(My 9 age old self repressed the memories for 6 years. When they resurfaced I asked my parents to be able to talk to someone about it, but I was still denied. I have now have gone through trauma therapy)

3:13 Hello Emma! I would really, really love it if you covered, whenever you can, the case of Larry & Carri Williams. It’s a case about child abuse and the children envolved have had no one to get their case known...it is not fair! I know you are the person to cover that case, you’re amazing, the best, when it comes to cover those kind of cases. I am a huge fan, never miss a case ever since I subscribed.
    Regards from Nicaragua 🇳🇮.

As a legal secretary, I had the unfortunate task of working on cases involving child death at the hands of foster parents when the children's biological parents were taking good care of them. They may have fallen on some bad times, but the parents were struggling to care for their children and loving them. The state has GOT to step up to the plate and more closely investigate if the parents are truly not providing for them well enough. Take the case of Terrell Peterson, for example. His mother had issues but loved her child when he was taken from her and placed in the home of his murderer. So wrong!

I hope the mother feels so guilty every single day for not giving families information. That action caused the poor kid his life. I think some parents like to say there's absolutely no family thinking they'll be let go since they are all the kids have.

I agree 2nd deg is bullshit. prolonged abuse of a child has no other outcome but to result in death. Just because the guy didnt want him to die doesnt mean he was worried about charlies possible death. The only reason he wanted charlie alive was so that he could continue torturing him endlessly and stay out of trouble.

Foster carers/carers/parents should be given money from the government by filtering/monitoring it directly and pay it into specific things ie food, clothing etc so the carers cannot get hold of it/lands in their bank

Here in the US, they now have statistics to show that being in a foster home is statistically more likely to damage you than staying in the home of your biological parents even when they are neglectful or abusive. The high rates of abuse coupled with the attachment and emotional problems that come from being ripped away from the people you originally bonded with almost always cause horrible outcomes. Not saying I know the answer but someone should be doing something to tear down the current CPS/foster structure.

I couldn't agree more. I don't know about the US but I was "in care" in the UK in the 60s and just two years in that system caused more long-term damage than my abusive, narcissist mother ever did.

That makes me sick to hear because I was a foster parent to a little autistic child who was removed because she was neglected. She was left in over loaded diapers with rashes so bad she had an infection when we got her, both parents were meth users letting random men around the little girl, they od’d in front of the children in the home and yet they say that’s a safer environment than foster care? It is a broken system I know, but if this is true then we are failing these children more so than ever before.
I ended up adopting that little girl and she is a beautiful, happy little 4 yr old who is now in a loving home with family who love and appreciate her presence in our lives everyday. Bio mom even has a relationship with her because she is clean and working on staying healthy now, and is happy to share the role as mom with me ❤

      @crabpuff68 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Society is deeply thankful for the foster parents who are able to step in and step up to a situation in the way you report. Unfortunately, there are so many other factors at play despite your hard work: case workers who don’t care and who have minimal knowledge about the mental conditions that are rampant among foster kids. Supervisors who diligently seek to stretch cases out and involve as many government paid players as possible, “services” that are supposed to be helping bio parents and children to reunite but have been developed by people who seem to have the intellectual capacity of 3rd graders. There seems to be almost zero accountability for case workers who willfully lie or do their jobs in a slipshod way,

I have a 4yr old son right now. He's my child number 4. I thought I had child care down by the time I had child number 4... My others are currently 20yo f, 13yo s, and 9yo f. None of them made me ready for my son now! He's something else in the most fantastic and frustrating (at times) ways. He's non-verbal for the most part. He's got around 25-30 words and autistic. I love him more than life itself. He goes 90 miles an hour all day long. He went to preschool last year and either the teacher or the t.a. actually had to had 24/7 hands on him just to keep order. I actually felt bad for them and the rest of the class because he needs all the constant attention. But as i they love him. He's usually covered in bruised. Not due to anything I'm doing or not doing. He's just a ball of craziness and he gets himself in the craziest positions. He's got a high threshold for pain due to his autism, so slowing down isn't in his toolbox. Never once have his teachers felt that he is beaten. There's a difference between a childs behavior when they are abused or just a jack-in-the-box!
