I love AL Green, Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye and the list is long !💜 Soul / RB music is my jam grew up on Motown! Al Green does something wonderful when he sings, you have to follow him. Al grew up in Midwest USA sang in church, his dad told him singing was only for the glory of The Lord. Well the family moved to Michigan & you know what started in Detroit & became a phenomenal success MOTOWN !! Al started listening to the sounds around him & when he sang at home his father kicked him out, he wandered the streets & clubs and tried to sing there, he wasn’t doing well until he met a man who heard Al sing & told him Al, I can make you a star⭐️ That’s when his story began, he thrived in being a star loved performing and then things started to turn sour 😢 Al decided to leave the bright lights & only sing for his Lord, and he started a church I think in Memphis, Tennesee (USA) and that is what he is doing with his life 🥰
