Glad I watched and got a different perspective on making these busted canvases. That canvas is so hard to work with; craft paper, paint, seem to make it thicker so that you can only use rice paper or tissue paper to easily cut and glue down the curls. If you use two papers, they come apart when you’re gluing down. I’m in my third and still learning.I’ve been trying to create perfectionism and I’m only stressing myself out. I like the idea of using wood sticks for the backing as the other flat canvas always leaves a gap you have to fill and cover and glue just hold it that well. I love your non challant attitude.
HA! I thought I was the only one in the world that was having the same problem! Everyone else made it look so easy; then when I tried, the paper kept coming apart! Hopefully I will find a method that works for me. Has anyone tried doing these with fabric?
@ that’s on my list to use material soon. On my latest, I painted the front and used the adhesive backed Cricut paper on the rolled part in the back. It was so much softer and easier to roll up with Modge Podge added too and still the paper separated. Back to the drawing board.
This is the simplest tutorial I've seen so far! Thank you for this!
Love this ❤

Love your work! Can I ask where you got your glue gun?
Amy, how do you like the Surebonder pen glue gun?
LOVE it! It can't keep up for bigger projects, but for small crafts it's wonderful!
@TheCrazyCraftLady ok, thank you
I don't understand this trend. Don't really like it. But each his own.
