Hi Mr.Prabhu Thanks 4 sharing this.I saw the shreeman performing URDHVAPUNDRAVIDHI.He totally applied 13 namas to his body.I think there are only 12 namas,they are 1. Lalaat 2.Udara 3.Hrudaya 4.Gala 5.Dakshina Paarshva 6.Dakshina Bhuja 7.Dakshin Gala 8.Vaama Paarshva 9.Vaama Bhuja 10.Vaama Gala 11.Prushta Madhya 12.Moordhni. In some Madhva Sampradaya,It's been taught to apply nama on right chest but usually people apply on the both sides.The one which I mentioned doesn't contain the same.
Really nice. I think I will start doing Sandhyavandanam. Actually, can Shaivaites who apply vibuthi/sacred ash on forehead apply 'Gopi Chandana' also? Please clarify.

May be by oversight. Could somebody please clarify?
According to Urdhwa Pundra vidhi and Rigvedhi Vaishnava Sandhya vandanam book written by Shri U Keshava Rao there is some confusion before Dharana and even recitation of Dharana manthra.According to the book there are 12 namas for each Shukla and Krishna Paksha and there are 24 Achaman manthras.This confusion is because of a nama on right side of the chest Dakshina Stana Mandale.This is not in the book Please clarify.Thanks .

Yea you can. Even I am a shivaite i apply Gopi Chandana. There is no restrictions for that.
