Funny thing is that my mom is actually friends with his mom because of State Farm (they are both agents) and I met him many times and went to his training camp. He is actually one of the most humble and genuine people I’ve ever met.
Thx for this video. Dallas Turner's progression is one of the main things that have my attention as a Vikings Fan. This video just earned you a new sub.
Great video. As a Vikings fan I've been wondering what's going on with Turner & his low snap count. This was enlightening. Liked & subbed. Give me more! SKOL!
Turner is undersized, so he really needs a year or 2 to put on some weight. The bigger reason he isn't seeing more snaps has nothing to do with him. It's a question of who do you take off the field? Both Van Ginkle and Greenard have been spectacular. Patrick Jones started off hot. We also rotate in Jihad Ward. Also Turner did get dinged up one game, so you also have to consider that. I think they are just taking it slow with him because we are deep at the position.
I was surprised how much he dropped back in coverage. If that's the plan, makes more sense to me why they been slow rolling his playing time so far. Didn't seem like they were limiting any calls to help him out, upside of which is he will be learning his entire set of roles, not just a sub role player. Future seems very bright for 15, Skol!
Thank you for clarifying!! I read from a Vikings beat reporter Brian F mentioned he didn't want to put too much on the rookie early on or something like that. Didn't know he was hurt too.
@@The_Football_Scout He got injured during the Week 2 game. Then he completely missed the Week 3 game. After that they started to ease him back into the rotation.

Great break down. Need more Vikings players analysis. Hopefully a Harrison smith video he’s been balling
At 7:33, Turner long arms him, "but he doesn't get off the block".... That is because the TE locked into his arm and pulled him...
That’s true, but if he was more seasoned and a bit stronger he would be able to shed that block (hold) easily. It was a pretty weak grab.
great breakdown. subscribed. 👍
Bros there are so many videos with the Vikings I don't know which one I like the most! 😂😮🤯 Skol!!!

Sweet!

Real football scout fans where are you?🎉🎉
On a real note, its nice to see he has a solid pass rush plan on his few reps
At the 7:22 mark on that play he couldn't get off his block because he was being held on his left arm.
Good job!
Thank you
Glad Turner is getting some reps and receiving tutelage from Greenard

At 7:59, was that block in the back called on colts number 56? Yikes.
I trust brian flores to develop this young guy into a versatile edge threat/cover guy like ginkel
he is not a cover guy bruh..
@@ziqHim He is an outside linebacker. He might rush more than he covers but part of being OLB is to play pass coverage sometimes
He suffered a knee injury in week 2 against the 49ers in week 2. He missed the next week and they've brought him back slow.
i think hes gonna be a top 10 pass rushing in a few years time
I think he got dinged up early and they wanted him to heal up
