He is a humble guy who shuts up when others talk, so in interviews with the others, he doesn't say much, but here you finally get to hear and see what an amazing actor and person he really is.. And like the acting he does as hulk, is the reason it works so well and you kinda feel him in there, because he is.. He is hulk, he is Bruce, he is two different characters, but only one actor.. I hope that marvel will start to understand that, because the inconsistencies in the films where he is, destroys the credibility of the character. He is more than just some big green smashing machine..
Every bit of this is why Mark is the fucking bomb and deserves to be the real Hulk! And I am rather old now apparently, so had a rough time with these Hulk characters in movies lol.

I'm not entirely sure (far from an expert) but I think he meant that the Hulk isn't seen as his own character? As in he isn't number 6 on the call sheet? That's what i got from it

But Serkis was overlooked since he "technically " was not in the film, not until the final LOTR was when he finally received academy recognition. Today it's a whole new ball of wax, which is largely due to that old, relative term, categorized term for acting.
This felt more like a therapy session and less like an interview.
