Which website did you book your ticket from ? If air Asia website then were you given boarding pass till Bali or only Malaysia? So we need to check in again in Malaysia

It depends on your flight tickets. If you’ve booked a ticket of the same airlines from India to Malaysia and from Malaysia to Bali and you’ve a same PNR on both the tickets then you don’t need a transit visa. But if you’ve booked tickets of different airlines. E.g. from India to Malaysia (Air Asia) and from Malaysia to Bali (Scoot), and have different PNR’s on both the tickets then you might need a transit visa.
Do you pay for extra baggage separately for both the flights(as in Bangaloreto malaysia and then malaysia to bali) or you pay only once

If we have a connecting flight both Air Asia and the first flight gets delayed then will Air Asia compensate for the next flight missed ?
