Dear lovely lady, thank you for this detailed description and analysis of this beautiful, yet gloomy poem. When I read it I didn't understand almost anything so your video helped me a lot. I didn't even think I would watch the whole hour, but your quality explanations really hooked me in. Thank you once again and keep up the good work! Greetings from Croatia :)
Thank you so much. It is indeed a poem about gloom. But it is also about beauty of gloom. As Shelley says, Our sweetest songs are those that tell of saddest thought.
Ma'am i am from chakdaha college and some day's before i got my 3rd semester result and my sgpa is 7.62 ..i just passed this exam only for you and my college professors also helped me...but to me your videos are those pillar which saved me from supplementary. ..pronam naben amar🙏🙏🙏❤
Your videos for a student who finds it difficult to concentrate, are addictive.🥺 Nothing can be a bigger fortune for me than coming across your videos. Honestly 🥺
First of all Thank You So Much madam for existing in TH-cam. I know there are tons of videos in every particular topic which we the students need the most. But , I found you the most entertaining and geniune. You helped me to understand the heavy topics like 'Paradise Lost" and yeah how can I forgot the history of England from Anglo - Saxon Age to Modern... Never commented on your video but today took a tiny pause while studying and thought to tell you " Thank you for being here" . ❤ -- a student of yours
Madam you are like the angel in Blake's "Chimney Sweeper"set us free from the burden of such a huge syllabus with your simple , helpful, informative explanation..... Thank you so much madam☺
When I was in sem 4 I had really raved for this particular video by you... Tbh your videos are secret source of my good marks 🙏🏻😇 blessed to have a teacher like you 😇🧿
Mam, please make a detailed series on these novels as well : The heart of darkness by Joseph Conard 1984 George Orwell Animal Farm by George Orwell Trial by Franz kafka The metamorphosis by Franz kafka Frankenstein by Mary Shelley Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen Mill on the floss by George Eliot Joseph Andrews by Henry Feilding Hard times by Charles Dickens Thank you so much
Thank you so much mam ❤you just have made this poem so easy to understand... I listened whole explanation and it really help me to understand properly..am a fourth sem student of kalna college and next month I have semester so this means a lot. I even downloaded your another videos..like 7-8..and these poems are actually in my syllabus..you unknowingly have covered my almost 70%syllabus...Thanks a lot.. before attending questions or notes I watch your explanation then read poem and then go for questions and it helps me a lot ❤❤ Thanks a lot mam
Thank you so much, ma'am, for this much awaited video! I had requested it a few days ago, so thank you for listening and granting it. Really did enjoy this one, learned a lot as well. Always grateful for your lessons! Excited for the next one!!💫
Mam..please make series on History of American Literature and Indian Literature, as you did in the British Literature...please mam......it'll be very helpful...😇
Ma'am, I have two questions. 1. The Ambition, Grandeur, and Proud respectively refer to the ambitious, grand, and proud people. So are these the examples of personification or is there any other figure of speech to categorize them? 2. The grave is said to be the ultimate destination for both the rich and the poor. So it's the end of life there. But on the other side we can see the owl and beetle are mainly 'ruling' the graveyard at night. So could it be dichotomy in the context of graveyard?
Instead of personification you may call it synecdoche. Pride is the quality of proud people, so here pride refers to proud people. Similarly ambition is found in ambitious You are correct. There is a dichotomy, or rather a subtle irony. The poem about death is alive by these lively images
Mam thank u so much ❤️ But plz app "LONDON"by Samuel Johnson - iss text ki line by line explanation ek video banayengi ...to bohot help hogi ....kuch bhi samajh me nahi aa raha hai ...ap ka samjhana bohot accha hai 😣
Ma'am can you please explain 'Ode to Evening' of Collins. There is not a single good quality explanation available in internet. A video over this topic will be immensely helpful.
Lot of love from howrah mam😊 After long time to seeing your new background setting reflects a sense of sparling orit looks like a feeling of something new beginning❤...thanks to u again mam
Yes, it's actually my new apartment. That is also the reason why we were not able to upload videos frequently over last two months. Now we have settled down and will possibly be able to be more regular
Stanza 2: As the sun sets , the land fades while a quitness hangs in the air. A buzzing beetle and the soothing sound of sheep's bells break the silence. Lyricism , assonance and aiteration is used to lull your senses into a melancholic mood. Beetle - macbeth reference. Macbeth talking to his wife about killing Banco. Beetle is a symbol of death(poor people dpnt know it ) but here it is a living creature in a graveyard- Complex dichotomy . The line btween life and death is blurry. As evening settles down - lively movement in nature which gray captures for us. There is a solemn stillness in air expect the sound of beetles. Stanza 3 He continues it.
Ma'am please cover The Prelude Book I by William Wordsworth will be very helpful for us .Your explanation make things more comprehensive.. our exams is approaching . From Arunachal Pradesh Northeast India 🇮🇳

hello ma'am, your videos are a good addition to my study materials. thank you so much. Request, could you also make a video on London by Samuel Johnson 😊
Ma'am I am just curious to know that whether, the concept of a latin phrase" Memento mori" is applied here or not, I read some notes and therefore got to know about it, but you didn't mention it at least once.
Ma'am I have a request please explain us these poems dejection an ode by Samuel Taylor Coleridge or london by Samuel Taylor please ma'am we are have exams from 22 of August
Wonderful video. Thank you. I would, however, take issue with your remarks concerning the stanza "But Knowledge..." I feel it's classic refutation of Bourdieu's "Capital Symbolique." I've been told Teachers/Profs don't like his ideas because Pédagogues have to believe in "School's Equality of chance." (and I admit to wanting to refuse its truth, too.) It's true we can quote exceptions to the Rule of Equal Chance (not Law) nevertheless they remain exceptions. (I stopped your exposé so forgive me if I misrepresent you)
Thank you ma'am you always give me a different perspective to see the world, to analyse not only the literary contents but also the human psyche. Ma'am, would you like to accept me as your student, please?
Where are you studying? Which university/semester/course? Send your details to 9163520212 and we can tell you if we are currently offering mentoring for that batch or not
The audio quality is not that good. We are used to having very good quality of sound in the previous videos. Mam, please don't disappoint us on that aspect please.
In this decayed hole among the mountains In the faint moonlight, the grass is singing Over the tumbled graves, about the chapel There is the empty chapel, only the wind’s home.
