Superdrug's NEW Pick'N'Mix hair dyes are cruelty-free and suitable for vegetarians! BUT, does it work?!?!
(I am NOT a hair dresser! I followed the instructions carefully and this was my end result, I'm sure others can relate to having thick hair and the hair dye is not enough! Sorry for the patchy colour!!)

Looks lovely! I’m a hairdresser and why it probably didn’t take so well is because some strands of hair aren’t light enough or too much warm in them strands of hair! Also crazy colours or pastel colours will never last as the pigments is strong enough in them type of colours. Also heat will make it fade quicker as well ☺️

Currently sat with this dye on now. Fingers crossed. So glad to have found a cruelty free dye so I really hope this brand works for me! :)

Ellie Stennett it did! It's come out a lovely shade (could do with going over again in a few days I think but over all, very impressed!). I'm a huge fan of most of the Superdrug range as so much is cruelty free and usually vegetarian or vegan too. A bit upset that they seem to have stopped stocking the Barry M foundation though! This was my go to for cruelty free foundation!

@@elliestennett1223 I used the silver one and it was great I have very light blonde hair with grey roots l used silver and I love the colour. I also love osmo silverising products I've got them all. hahaha
I love the eye look. Seriously need a video of that. I'm hopeless with eyeshadow but that looks less daunting

I used this colour, it looked beautiful but snapped my hair off completely, I'm talking sections of hair just fell off. I had a bob cut and it's back to a decent condition. It was the first time I used this brand, I've used many other brands and coloured my hair for 12 years. I'd never use this brand again. ☹

Ellie Stennett I have used la riche directions for years, I only yesterday mixed up orange, pink and some conditioner to make a rose gold colour. I've used manic panic and colourista too. I think it's the fact this one is permanent, I've only used semi which tends to be made up of vegetable oils and very good for your hair. I steer away from box dyes now. Xx

I’ve dyed my hair a few times after this with pink and purple from Bleach London if you want to check them out also! But I’ve picked up a few tips on the way for making the colour last longer and not washing it for a day (or even two!) is one of them 🙈

What makes it non-vegan? (Not arguing with you. I just don’t know 😂)
Did my very blonde bleached pixie hair with the Rose Gold in this range 3 days ago. It made it a metallic lilac pink with rosy aspects to it, lol. I have to say that my hair has felt very good to the touch, considering much coloured and bleached! - and has a gorgeous shine, making the colour bounce out! I'm kind of sad to wash it now, afraid the colour will wash right down, but I also bought their Rose toner today, so might pop that through as I wouldn't mind a bit more warmth. I must admit that the gold element isn't strong on me - but maybe that's where the definite metallic edge comes in? Yours looks lovely on you. X
I used it 3weeks ago and it has only last two weeks. I don't think I will use it again because it doesn't last very long. My hairdresser said that all your bought permanent hair eyes don't last. Shame because like you, love the colou on my pixi hair style.
Hey - how long did this take to come out? I have it on mine and its made my roots go pretty orange.. hoping it comes out soon!
ik im late but i think it will have made your roots orange because of the hydrogen peroxide in the product (which lightens hair i think) !
me too! i just did it and it made my roots so orange i hate it. any updates on how long it takes to wash out? very keen to get rid of it asap
one box is only going to cover thin short hair. if you have thick or long hair you'll need two to three boxes to insure you dont run out, better to have more than less x

Thank you for this review! I just bought this stuff yesterday, itching to try it. I wish it was more permanent though (in regards to the level of pink) - I'm too lazy to reapply often.
Oh girl I feel youuuu! I just want a colour that lasts and doesn't need topping up every 3-4 days! I recently tried Bleach London Rosé hair dye! How long did it take to wash out or fade as I’m using wash out colours but thinking permanent this colour x

Hello! This washed out super easily and quickly! around 3-4 days I think! I really LOVE usingg bleached London (I'll link it below!) I tried it recently and the colour took amazing and it lasted so much longer as it comes with a pink shampoo and conditioner!

I think they say it's permanent because it contains developer which will lighten your hair x
