I did very much enjoy the song and I am working on warming up to the members that I am not yet fond of after watching Produce 48. You need more time to overcome the feeling, you've been rooting for your favourite girls from the show and it's sad not seing them in the finally lineup, me too. A lot of girls that I hope they could be a part of IZ*ONE but no, I feel sad for them too. The competition is long over now. it's so sad that some of you guys still have those unsettled feelings towards specific members. The Koreans voted for these girls to be in the group. We all know that no matter how popular the group internationally but if it's not getting the enough fanbase from Koreans, that group would FLOP so bad. Type of concept is a very great example. Cute concept is a huge hit in Korea wherein most of the international kpop fans are more into Girl Crush/Badass concept. In short, no matter how much we don't like some of the girls in the group, we couldn't do anything about the result but respect the choice of the Koreans. I just don't like the idea why you have to hate some of the members who entered the group. It's not their choice to rank so high or to be included. They are CHOSEN to be part of it. FYI, they also WORKED SO HARD as to where they are right now. Who are we to judge these girls with dreams of becoming a performer. This is very dissapointing to watch.
A good example of girl crush being loved by international fans is CLC's hobgoblin. People thought it was lit but it flopped so hard in korea and when CLC changed concepts the hobgoblin bandwagoners left.
I feel like some (the outspoken ones) in the international fandom are trying to be 'woke' and only stan the J-line + Chaeyeon. It's kinda hilarious to watch actually lmao.
Korean fanbase only matters for digital chart but we know physical sales are the ones that is gonna give them real money..so even if they dont have korean support, their fanbase would support them for physical sales..they would still selling as much as they are now😂😂 so they would not flop..they had biggest sales contributor=Sakura..you must not know about sales to talk about flop as a word..
Ya probably know this but they are from a survival show call produce 48 the same company that made ioi. The final 12 winner get to debut for 2.5years. Most of them are underage and the first girl you see in the center is the center for the group age 14. Broke kpop record for the fastest album sales within 24 hours.

This isn't meant as a hate comment because 1) I really liked this reaction and 2) I love Sakura, she's been my HKT48 Oshi for a long time but I really don't understand why people keep saying she was scammed or robbed or w.e, I love her but you have to admit she doesn't have the best voice, and she's a good but not a fantastic dancer. shay ry you cant compare season 1 and 2 with 48 because simply, its totally different from the start. Sakura is pick me center and she still pick me center for final when in season 1 and 2, somi and daniel were pick me center instead yoojung and daehwi. As simple as that.
I wasn't thrilled about the final results of PD48, but now I'm ok with the results. After seeing the girls together and seeing them stand on stage, they match well. However, I would have loved for more of the 48 girls to have been in the group. My ideal IZ*ONE based on the final girls was Kaeun, Sakura, Eunbi, Wonyoung, Nako, Miho, Chaeyeon, Miyu, Miru, Miu, Juri, and Hitomi.

Though I do wish you would’ve went in with a more open mind about IZ*ONE and their debut. I feel like you were still pent up about the results of the show and not having your ideal Lineup. But that’s how a survival show works, not all your favs are going to make it and we just have to be happy about the ones who did and either embrace the group as is or walk away. Saying things like Wooyoung being number one and not Sakura is a scam is a bit much. Since when was the really paid attention to? its just a title on paper that really doesn’t get used much. Somi wasn’t the “Center” of all IOI songs and neither was Daniel of Wanna One songs. And outside of PD101 series, the Center is never really addressed or acknowledged because it changes from song to song! Also, keep in mind that Wooyoung is only 14, that’s a lot of pressure for her to be placed at number one, she doesn’t need the negativity against something she didn’t choose. That being said, don’t force yourself to like the group. If you don’t, you don’t and that’s fine. Just try and go in to each video with an open mind because who knows? Maybe someone you didn’t notice before would surprise you and that goes for all groups, not just IZ*ONE.

Chaewon, though, stood out to me in their To Reach You performance but never really focused on her so I was really surprised that she was in the line-up but at the same time I'm very happy that she got in, she skyrocketed up my top biases and I rewatched some things in PD48 only to focus more on her.
To the guy who talks about scam involving CENTER position, In Kpop scene, we don't give a shit about who the CENTER is. Even the concept of CENTER is quite recently introduced since the group survival show like Produce series was aired. You know why? The Kpop group's performance is highly divided and specialized by each member according to their specialty such as vocal, dancing, visual, stage performance ability,... and during the stage performance, each and every member is CENTERed on the rotating basis. Therefore there is no need for competition to be CENTER among group members. On the contrary, the Jpop is dominated just by several bigshot groups and therefore the competition naturally arises among members in the same group not among groups. And the stage performance is mainly focused on the CENTER or the first row bigshot members. Therefore if you stan a Kpop group, there is no need to argue about who the CENTER is. Because everyone is the CENTER!!!
I like what you said but you should change Jpop to just AKB. Because that's AKB's concept and not the whole Jpop. With everyone getting exposed to AKB, it seems like they perceive Jpop as like that but on the contrary, it's just AKB who is different. It's just that they are a huge group but their concept and their practices are not the norm in Jpop.

For a small group, the issue of CENTER wouldn't arise in the first place. AKB, NOGIZAKA, KEYAKIZAKA, E-Girls,... may fall into this category of JPop groups. Of course they do not represent Jpop(and Kpop) as a whole.
So true, I remember back in 2009, I always thought Yoona was the center and all but it was actually Taeyeon. But I really didn't two shits about it throughout until 3rd generation kpop groups came out, especially Produce groups. But having to root on someone and becoming confident with it since Mnet made it seem like Sakura is the center and pull out a twist like, it's very anti-climatic and disappointing.

I didn't watch PD48 but understand everyone has their favs and it's natural to be disappointed if they don't make it but hey, lets support the group that did make it regardless.
