Quite the opposite: true success in life cannot be measured with those factors, but instead with the amount of people that are able to live a better and more advanced life because of what you created. Media and society let us often conclude that living a successful life means to be extraordinarily wealthy and having a lot of tangibles, but the meaning of success is to live a happy life and to make this world a better place for everyone. In the program, we discussed with Dr Baidya about his amazing life experiences and outstanding achievements in his professional field of medicine and try to understand the real meaning of success.

Dr Jagadish Lal Baidya
Prof. Dr. Jagadish Lal Baidya is a famous surgeon and urologist from Nepal. He is the co-founder and owner of B & B Hospital, which was able to set a benchmark for private hospitals in Nepal. His medical expertise, unique business ideas, and a desire to make a difference in people’s lives made him a successful doctor, medical entrepreneur and a generous philanthropist he is today.
He graduated with FRCS from the UK in the 1970s and returned to Nepal to serve his nation despite having the opportunity to work for a hospital in London and take up the British citizenship. It was a great decision he took, and the rest is history as they say.
