How does the GOAT Code tie in with the DEAD Drill & AXIOM? The answer is in this video.
If you don't understand why you're not having success yet swinging like Tiger, it's also in this video. It's almost certainly because you are out of position going back.
Tiger's 2000 backswing was ridiculously simple. The simplest backswing of all time in my opinion.
And once you get it right, you'll find that it was simple you'll wonder why you ever struggled with it in the first place.

Great stuff Chuck!
Thank you!
Great stuff « again » Chuck! 👍
Thanks!
7:54 I thought, leverage was using the hands, one against the other, to lever the club head, except this would be a reverse lever, where a great deal of force, moving a short distance, a greater distance in the same time…
In recent videos you explained, that there are two totally different swings, the left side dominant of Ernie Els and the right side dominant of Tiger Woods. In the left side dominant swing the main movement is the active straightening of the left leg (Dead drill), in the right side dominant swing the active release of the right hand. This is so important to know to find the personal best suiting swing.
This is my question, is there a correct dominant swing … left side dominant, right side dominant … or should it be both equally playing a role? More concerning to me is when I try to follow the sequence as in these videos, which I love, of back swing (straight as shown here), transition, post, arms come through … my natural path is out to in. When I follow a more of a stack and tilt swing style, with arms pulling in, not straight takeaway and up, I can get a little closer to in-to-out swing path. By the way, all systems Rotary, Eureka, Stack-and-Tilt, all use Ben Hogan as their example. I wish Ben was here to try them all and report back. Maybe Tiger can jump in here for a comment?
I am right side dominant. I found out, that I swing from the inside, when I pull my right elbow down to my right pocket and move my right hand clockwise in the downswing.
6:05 does your method translate to good scores? Would I be able to hit the ball better when playing on the golf course? That is, longer and straighter. How can I know that this method will be any more effective than any other method on TH-cam?
Well, I played to a +4 handicap with it so I think so!
You use total different muscles swinging left side or right side dominant. I personally found out, that I swing down from the inside, when I pull the right elbow infront of the right pocket starting the downswing.
I am also a huge Tiger fan, go LSU Tigers……
My take having just had my best strokeplay round of 3 over @65yr old
Everyone at my club lower than my 4.7hcp started as a junior i started at 50
All juniors have to sequence from the ground up ie push into the ground with both feet, creating space for shoulders/ arms to swing up whilst pressuring down
most adult males ie most golfers sequence their arms first laterally across their chest then try to catch up
Most adult golfers never get to their left side made worse by a pro forward ball stance position and just lunge and try and hit it with clubhead and right side
Even fewer golfers can use their left side and hardly any try and strengthen it or train it
All good golfers having got to their left side turn up through the ball and finish high
their right side releases late try split hand drill to feel it
Im not disagreeing with Chucks great videos but this is my feel/take
PS most golfers cant even set up like the GOATs,ive really had to work hard to set up better as unlike JN and prob a lot of pros like most people im right eye dom and its instinctive to look at the top of ball with right eye which leads to a terrible set up!
Hi,
When they study EEGs of elite golfers, they all sit right of center (meaning right brain). That means they all are relying more on feel than thought.
In fact, to take that a step further, nearly all enter a place of non-thought or a learning mode (alpha state) prior to initiating as swing. Almost all poor golfers do it opposite.
I’m certain, a big reason for that is that they have faulty mental motor patterns and you can only override those if you are currently thinking about it.
If you have someone close their eyes and picture (or sense) their swing, you can learn the default patterns in the mind/brain. Nearly 100 percent are going to have a faulty pattern/image. Almost no one knows you can change those patterns instantly, so you can put the awesome patterns you are teaching into that empty space.
As you are finding out, the mind is the biggest factor. I can show you how to immediately change those patterns. Most people are addicted to the hard way and struggling.
I’ve been watching your progression for years. I love your dedication and commitment to your craft.
Thanks,
Alan
Should poor people even bother playing golf? It's an expensive sport to play and it's even more expensive if you want to learn how to play it well.
