Based on the the specs from Thailand where this particular of Good Cat is from, there are 3 variants with two different range specs, 400KM and 500KM. The range is similar as myvi 2 lx 1.3 full tank fuels. Good enough to use in city like ipoh and penang.

We were told last year 2021 that it would start at £25k in the U.K. but low and behold now over £33k the basic model- they will not sell in the U.K. well at all now- who do they think they are kidding too pricy for a Chinese Car. People like a choice when buying and Dealers like to be able to sell up to a better model as this 195 range model is not what the public want.
How many more cars can KL take? Already we have 200k cars backlog for Perodua alone... Omgosh

For Malaysia Aircon is important! Is it able to cope with afternoon sun and stuck at KL jams? Will it run out battery after stuck for 1.5 hours jam?
Please verify.
If stuck in jam, the motor is not turning. It doesnt need to idle like engines. So if your EV is stuck and not moving, the aircon, lights, electronics, etc will probably run a few days before dying depending on the state of charge of course.
This already being sold in Thai for 1year plus. So far so gud.

@@mtiger62 Following Thailand’s announcement of major incentives for electric vehicles, Great Wall Motors (GWM) has announced an updated price list for the Ora Good Cat, which is now cheaper by 165,000 baht (RM20,635) across all three available variants. The new pricing has come into effect as of March 21, 2022, according to Headlightmag, and is a result of subsidies and a reduction in value-added tax (VAT).
To start, the base Tech variant now goes for 828,500 baht (RM103,613), or about 16% less than the original 989,000 baht (RM123,689) price tag. Meanwhile, the mid-range Pro is 898,500 baht (RM112,371), representing a 15.1% reduction from 1.059 million baht (RM132,455).

@@TheZaman_ Proton is not ready for their own EV yet. They're going to be stuck in constant R&D and rebadging until who knows when. If anything Proton will be rebadging the Emgrand EV or the new Geometry EX3 instead considering what's available in Geely's lineup now.

It's possible but only in city speeds no stopping day time no rain flat roads and not faster than 40kph.
crazy price for an tested car and unknown make, it was rumoured in 2021 by GOAUTO wanted to sell it at RM100K, now it is 40% more dear.....how come?

@@TheZaman_ EVs are exempted from import and excise taxes until end of 2023. CKD EVs are also exempted from Sales tax but we currently only have CBU EVs so there's still the 10% sales tax. Owners are exempted from roadtax until 2025
