I swear to God, don't take advice from someone who can't explain it. I've always figured it was smarter to own a car, even if it's used, than to lease one. And this dude who I know out in California leased his car, said his lawyer dad said that this was the smart way to go. This is around 20 years later, I still don't know what circumstance leasing a car makes sense financially if you're going to be using it long-term. Buying your main mode of transportation makes the most sense to me, financially. Come to think of it, I don't know anyone who I've met since getting that advice who leases their car. I also don't know anyone with a sports car, so that might have something to do with it.
Cars that depreciate like hell: Mercs, BMWs, Maseratis, Alfa Romeos sort of make sense to lease, but at the same time if you're a sensible person with enough money to consider spending lots on something nice/fun, why not buy something you'd want to keep for the next twenty years?
I agree with others, I don't think lease vs buy is a one size fits all. I've done well owning Tesla's over the last 6 years, except my last one. I bought in 2022 and prices went down, which was the companies goal. So I'm a little under water, so I'll just keep it longer than I anticipated.

As a fan I started this interview, not liking parts of it, but after thinking about it, it’s very revealing, if you’re a fan or not, I’ll never knock anyone making their way through that arena, celebrity. It’s a different world… make your money.. keep your integrity. I can’t imagine the sharks swimming in that pool.. so as fans we don’t really get it.. that kinda of money.. it’s absurd.
Regarding meditation, maybe this will help Kathy. Does she like jazz? Was there a time when she didn't like jazz? Does she like classical music? Was there a time when she didn't like, or "get", classical music? I find that similarly, meditation is harder for those who are expecting something, or even hoping for something. You have to open yourself up to letting yourself calm down. Sometimes I've heard it being less like "I am doing this," but rather, "I am letting this happen through me."

There was a great deal of outrage about this around the law community.

You start an LLC and lease the car through your company making it a tax write-off for the business
