The reason I think they’re such a strong sense of “making things gay” is because for a very long time they were barely any queer characters in the media people would look for any trace of it ,now that’s more likely excepted and seen the media more often people are just super excited I want more. Sometimes people see a character that they relate to and like to project their own identity onto that character to make themselves feel more scene especially if their identity isn’t seen in the media very often. Yes we should normalize men being kind and affectionate towards each other in a platonic way But in the realms of fiction you have the right to interpret a piece of art however you want and no one‘s way of interpreting it is wrong. But when it comes to real life people like with Markiplier and Jacksepticeye they’re not fictional characters and you have no right interpret their lives in that way. If I make them uncomfortable feel weird around each other ,fictional characters cannot feel uncomfortable Or feel pressured into something because they’re not real and their emotions are what we make them to be. [my apologies if anything spelled wrong or formatted weird I have dyslexia]
