    What an awesome workout! I love the cardio jumpboard and arm "breaks". Thank you

    • @PilatesBodywithMichelleAlexis
      @PilatesBodywithMichelleAlexis  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks so much! Yes the arm breaks are necessary bc the legs need a little breather from jumping but I want to keep some part of the body moving! You should definitely check out the other two jumpboard workouts I have up on the channel too if you haven’t done them yet!

      @suzanne770 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's what I really liked was the breakup of the movements.

    • @PilatesBodywithMichelleAlexis
      @PilatesBodywithMichelleAlexis  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@suzanne770 Awesome! Yes I need the breaks, but don't want to just lay there while my legs and heart rate and recovering.

    This is such a great class! What is the prop you have under your head? It keeps you in perfect alignment! Please share!

    • @PilatesBodywithMichelleAlexis
      @PilatesBodywithMichelleAlexis  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you Marie! It's a neck pillow and it does keep my head in great alignment, very comfortable! and for me, I have a tight lower back so when I imprint my back, I feel a strain in my neck, so this pillow keeps my head propped up enough so I don't get that pain. Here is the link to find it: www.amazon.com/Custom-Craftworks-Cervical-Relief-Pillow/dp/B0014XHC6M/ref=sr_1_5?crid=1ECYMVEM8K4HP&dchild=1&keywords=omni+cervical+relief+pillow&qid=1631302783&sr=8-5

    This is a great class thank you so much for sharing! Just curious what do you have your gear bar and stopper set at when you jump? you seem fairly tall, I’m 5’10”

    • @PilatesBodywithMichelleAlexis
      @PilatesBodywithMichelleAlexis  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You’re welcome, glad you enjoyed it! I’m almost 5’7 and I keep mine all the way in. Since you’re 5’10 I would move your gear bar out one and stopper out one more and see how that feels. You don’t want to feel super squished where your knees are in your chest, but you want to be able to get to a 90 degree bend with the legs or little more than that so you can get a deep squat and push.

    What head rest thing are you using?

    • @PilatesBodywithMichelleAlexis
      @PilatesBodywithMichelleAlexis  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s an awesome neck pillow that fits perfectly in the headrest! It’s called the Omni Cervical relief pillow by custom craft works. I got it on Amazon, here is the link …amzn.to/3l71OL6

    My quads hurt a lot while i do this, is that normal?

    • @PilatesBodywithMichelleAlexis
      @PilatesBodywithMichelleAlexis  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! 100% normal, my quads always burn when I jump using heavy springs. Your quads are the main muscle group your using when laying on your back jumping with the heavier springs. When you have lighter springs, it’ll work the core a bit more because you have more air time so have to keep your core tight… when laying on your side, you should feel the glutes as well as the quads.
