RIP Rual - Race in Peace - we all know as racers and former racers how great it feels to be doing what you love as much as anything else in the world - those moments where you are at one with your bike and cannot go any quicker are very special and to race at the highest level and become the fastest spaniard at the TT is a true testament to your passion and commitment - both in life and racing. A sad loss for the entire racing community - RIP Raul.
Question to Raul (2023 / NW200): “How would you gauge success?” Answer from Raul: “The biggest success is to be able to come back next year.” Watching the highlights of TT2023, my hope is that the riders will finish whole and unharmed. However, the stark reality is that despite the many safety initiatives implemented over the past 25 years, on average, 3 rider fatalities will occur each year. A courageous person dies only once.
It's great the fact that ye have this channel going... at 4mins 30secs yer man said it himself, 'less talk more action'. ye could talk over footage of the bikes instead of showing us the presenters... we know it's you, we came for the bikes...

Wow a rider was killed competing in the Isle of Man TT. Who would have thought? He broke a record at the TT, then broke his neck. I would have never thought in a million years that riders die competing in the Worlds Most Dangerous Motorsport Event. What a shock, what a tragedy, what a freak accident.......... Condolences to his Loved ones, relatives and close friends. Being a seasoned TT competitor he knew full well the risks he was taking in this race.

The TT is toughest race in world - it is also voluntary for the riders and they make their choice knowing risks. RIP Raul - one of legends
