I am far from calling myself expert about soil structure but one thing I noticed many of us takes things too lightly when comes to safety. My house is so close to biking gasing jungle,but like most of my neighbours,we our self hardly go into the jungle like people from outside our area. One thing, I hate the big crowd that entre the place,second, especially after the rain,the track is so slippery,but still lots of people goes in the jungle,now even at night people go in there,why must we look for problem lah,kesian bomba people,kena datang when you jatuh into the slopes......

Yes there shouldnt be any camping there because the structure is not solid. Had they stayed in proper houses/chalets, im sure many if not all would have survived.

It was a beautiful campsite and people had fun there. It was like this until the tragedy struck on December 16, 2022. I cannot imagine the horror of being there during the fatal landslide. The beauty of this place has been crushed and buried by the falling soil. Rest in peace to those who perished there. May God bless them and the surviving victims.

What legal? There is no license for camping site in Malaysia. As usual you know lah Malaysia law...No clear definition and Semua "agak agak" sahaja. The operators have not broke the law. The landslide responsibility is in the government land that have the road in it. Government should ensure the retaining wall or cliff will not cause landslide and damage the property next to it. That is the cause of disaster and not the farm itself.

Father Organic Farm management had removed the company youtube video where I gave my feedback on the dangerous steep slope with loosen sand exposed I also suggested to them back then that they need to reinforce the slope as in either cementing the slope or other method ie planting trees on the slope
