This video got me thinking of the episode of Altantis when the Ancients return only to lose the city to the replicators. The Ancients take back the city and yet do nothing about a galaxy next door being over run by their mortal enemies the Ori, that were so bad they constructed Atlantis in the first place and left their home galaxy. What if the Ori won and found out about Atlantis. Nice that the Ancients could sit back and let the SGC do everything.

Season four Curse because Osiris is revealed at the very end and Earth has another goauld on their to do luat, kinda looked more like Ra s ship in the movie. i love how (most of) the chosen "best" episodes aren't the ones with great space battles or incredible action but the character focused ones dealing with loss, philosophy and our place in the universe
I guess you missed the latter half of this video which votes all the great space battle episodes as the best ones. I counted at least 3 of them with space battles.
Always loved the episode "Lifeboat", where Daniel had multiple different minds transferred into his own, and the control of his body keeps switching between himself and the different passengers he's carrying. The acting in that one was just phenomenal.
Agree! Lost city is amazing for the visuals and chaos of everything going on, but Heroes is the best episode the actors put out for the entire series.!
When Janet died it was very emotional, i love heroes episodes but in the end of lost city episode when the fight is over and jack i going to be frozen and we can hear part of stargate atlantis theme, it is also very emotional especialy when i watched the whole atlantis. I grew up watching Stargate with my Mom and I've loved it ever since. I'm also an AF Security Forces veteran and its always cool to see the SF's doing there thing around Stargate Command. I wanted to go Army after high school but decided to go Air Force after my Dad's Army veteran friend convinced me to go AF. Sometimes I wonder if I subliminally joined the AF because of Stargate. LOL

Is it really that legendary? I kinda grew up on Atlantis tbh. But I definitely remember the quote, even the Asgard's voice, despite not seeing Stargate in Czech for for a few years. Last Stargate I have seen in Czech was when they first translated Universe (before that they broadcasted it here with just subtitles)
The Torment of Tantalous was indeed a great episode, but for season 1 I preferred There but for the grace of God more. Daniel's visit to an alternate SGC who had succumbed to the Gaoul'd was so exciting to me.
I agree what you said at the start. Most people I know never even heard of stargate. When they ask me what its about I always reply its the perfect combination of action, adventure, drama, sci fi and human emotions. It will always be my favorite series. Always. I also agree with most of the list. Although it is a hard choice. Even a top 5 or 10 each season would be hard. I got the whole series Sg1 and atlantis on dvd. I think one of these days I m gonne have a rewatch. Prob my 10th or so.
Totally agree with you - Stargate SG1 is THE BEST series (not just sci fi series) of all time. The cast is spectacular - especially Richard Dean Anderson who is perfect as Jack O'Neill. The writing, the directing, the production, are all tops. But I love the interaction among the main characters the most - especially between Jack and Sam.
If I were going to sum up what you said about it being a perfect combination of action, adventure, drama, sci fi and human emotions (I would specifically add humor), I would simply say "Adventure and Discovery". Everything you said can be summed up in those two words.
I personally think the best episode of season six is the one directed by Judge where he slips in and out of realities after a Jaffa ambush as he shares his symbiote with Bratac to keep them both alive
Personal choices: There are only 3 episodes throughout the whole 10 seasons i can do without; One False Step, the first ones, emancipation. Absolutley love all the rest.
I remember about 10 years ago I came across a paper/essay online that went in depth and explained why English was throioit the universe. Can't find it now.. Rather count be arsed looking for it.
Great vid... iv been rewatching Sg1 and Atlantis recently and although I think the Ori wasn't a very good villain, seasons 9 and 10 sure did have some amazing episodes. I miss Stargate, i wish they'd do more, it's the best sci-fi franchise of all time. Season 1 started the year I was born (24 years ago) and it still holds up today.
yes 200 was great but that crossover between SG-1 and Atlantis called The Pegasus Project is a worthy winner indeed. My guess would be that 200 came in 2nd place in the poll.
I really liked the episode where that barber got linked to jack and started writing stories about SG:1s adventures I normally hate flashback episodes but that one was good.
LOVE, LOVE, THIS SERIES!!!! STILL WATCH RERUNS & IT IS A LEGENDARY TREASURE, FOR SURE!!!! EVERY EPISODE IS A PRECIOUS PIECE OF WORK EXCELLENTLY PORTRAYIING THEIR ROLES --THE CAST, RICHARD DEAN ANDERSON; MICHAEL SHANKS, AMANDA TAPPING, CHRISTOPHER JUDGE, WERE ALL MAGNIFICENT ACTORS!!! MUCH KUDOS TO THEM & ALL THEIR ADMIRED ACCOMPLISHMENTS!!!! CHEERS!!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰🦅🦅🦅🦅
Dang, I so miss this show! I've been waiting and waiting for a new Stargate series. Granted, there's the web series, but I'd like a return to television a new Stargate series. Or if it has to be streamed, Netflix or Hulu should pick it up.
I"m going to finish it all now, and this was a great refresher! Thanks for the video very helpful! I started watching the "recommended viewing order" and I stopped (2 year break) watching after finishing: Stargate the movie, SG1 S1-S7, then SG1 S8, Atlantis S1.
Unending is undoubtedly my fave episode (the very last episode). It's a brilliant character study and what-if scenario. You need to know the characters for this episode to work.
Agreed. I wouldn't call it a favorite because I find it difficult to watch (emotionally, I mean) and therefore don't watch it frequently, but it's absolutely brilliant.
Agreed. I know some people were disappointed that they didn't touch on the Ori plot, but I think they made the right choice by having the final episode be more character-driven and emotional.
@@vanyadolly That's something I noticed about the show. They wasted very little time on pointless denouement - following up after the climax of the plot to satisfy the viewer. If what comes after the climax is obvious, they didn't bother spending time to portray it. At the end of Unending, it's obvious what happens. The ship escapes, and Earth gets the Asgard weapons technology which allowed the Odyssey to single-handedly blow up 2 Ori ships. The war against the Ori was effectively won at that point. While it would've been fun to show all that (if the season had had 5 more episodes), it didn't really add anything to the episode itself since it's obvious. So they sacrificed it to make time for more scenes which contributed to the episode itself. So sometimes the episodes are not as satisfying as they could be. But in exchange, they are jam-packed.
I like that Dom DeLuise makes an indirect cameo in a season 9 episode where Mitchell's having lunch with a buddy. The Pizza boxes say "DeLuise and Sons" and there's a picture of Dom with Peter on the lid.
They really should have joked about O'Neill MacGyvering the power supply... either in its construction or that he used a paperclip, rubberband, and some duck tape to finishe it off.
I could add a few episodes to this list but all in all, it's a good one. In my opinion, Stargate remains one of the best shows. The Stargate itself is the most interesting part. The whole idea of a portal that can be dialed to thousands of gates all over the universe is just mind-blowing. What a great idea.
Very nice list! Almost agreed on all entries but in time you'll find that is nearly impossible to pick just one single episode. As an example I was surprised to see Season 1 “The Torment of Tantalus” as number one pick. Mine would be “There but for the Grace of God” for sure. Just love alternate reality stuff...
I enjoyed all the shows you've listed, but I recommend you take a look at The Expanse now showing on Amazon Prime. Before seeing it my list would've been very similar to yours. But now the Expanse is in the top 3 perhaps #1. Truly an amazing show that ticks all the excellence boxes especially authentic science. I would also include Black Mirror as well.
Few episodes where missed from this list that are my personal favourites. 200 for one, just pure comedy gold. And Beachhead, everything about that episode was epic.
I loved how they presented the effects of gravity, time dilation, and the imminent doom of being sucked into a hole. SPOILERS Plus, the death of the SG at the beginning of the episode.
Great list. The only one I disagree with, and it's a close call at that, is in season ten. "Unending" gets my vote over "Pegasus". Stargate SG-1 forever! Rock on!
Children of the Gods has to be my favorite from season one when the team is assembled and we meet Carter for the first time and she puts Jack in his place, and you see the respect Jack at that moment he has for her.
I also wish Stargater SG1 had not ever come to an end....and I especially wish Richard Dean Anderson could have stayed with the series. HE MADE STARGATE what it was. I understand about him wanting to be able to raise his daughter. But how we miss him in Stargate. If he had stayed, I think SG1 could have gone on for another 10 years!!!!
I would have to agree with the fans on this one. All of these were the best episodes of their respective seasons. I also quite liked the one where they travel to the 60s, or 70s or whatever, and drive around on the hippie bus :D
Awesome list. 9 out of 10 of those have something based on th ancients which i find interesting just shows that the most watched episodes are about the ancients. Wouldnt it b awesome if the next stargate series was from the ancients point of view when they lived i think a lot if people would b interested to see something like that i now i would be and i think this list also shows that.
To make a series from the viewpoint of the ancients is a very interesting idea. That approach would present a few difficulties, but is definitely a cool idea. Whatever they do, please... *no prequels!!!!!*
That would either be amazing or a complete disappointment. I would love a movie or miniseries on the ancients dealing with the overall goal of the destiny. I wish sgu would have focused on that more instead of inteepersonal issues.
Unfortunately, to really be "amazing", I believe SGX would necessarily be disliked by less observant, less thoughtful viewers, including fans of SG1 and SGA. Why so? Because most humans are only [deeply] interested in human relations, human behavior, human attitudes and human perspectives. While many more observant, thoughtful, intelligent humans would absolutely *love* something as novel and insightful [and speculative] as a show from the perspective of an alien race, they would probably be less than half of the existing fan base, probably even less of the general / younger sci-fi fan base, and probably only 10% to 20% of viewers in general. And so, the creators and writers would need to think long, hard and very creatively before they started writing anything to figure out how to make the ancients fascinating and enjoyable without making them too human. Note that SG1 and SGA have already made clear that almost all ancients are extremely boring and not very bright when it comes to "street smarts". In fact, they are much like the Asgard in this respect. Remember how the Asgard needed to get help from SG1 when it came to any situation in which "street smarts" or "physical prowess" were important. While the ancients do not have the same personality traits as Asgard, they do share these traits to a fair degree. This is actually a very good thing, as it creates endless opportunities for humor. So much so that they would need to constantly restrain themselves to avoid making the humor "over the top" and thereby harm or destroy the feeling of realism of the show... which is absolutely necessary in a contemporary sci-fi series portrayed as "real" or "realistic"... which the entire Stargate franchise has been and must remain to be accepted and compelling in the future. I still really like this idea... but that's because I'm one of those observant, thoughtful, insightful, intelligent types who would appreciate this idea. Also, I've written several screenplays and was assistant producer of one feature film... so I'm inclined to like the idea of trying a new, creative idea. Nonetheless, an enormous quantity of time, effort and financial resources is invested / *RISKED* to create a new and expensive series like this. Therefore, I recognize how unlikely it would be that any large business would attempt such an extremely cool but extremely risky attempt. To bad none of us super-duper sci-fi fans is not a billionaire who can afford to risk a few hundred million bucks on a project like this. Again, congrats to Justin for coming up with a great idea like this. I love great ideas.
The Ori arc was my favourite. I think the ancients are interesting because it has that whole lost civilisation thing going whereas the goa'uld are just bad guys. So the Nox were kind of interesting, the Furling planet that Maybourne thinks will be a paradise, the planet that Maybourne ends up on with the puddle jumper. Though did like the episode where they go back in time to when Ra is still around and half of them get killed then new alternate versions of themselves go back. That was a great storyline.
What a trip down memory lane, definitely some incredible episodes. Would love to see a similar list for Atlantis and Universe! My personal favorite episode for SG1 would have to be the season 2 episode, A Matter of Time, where black hole and timey-wimey shenanigans abound. It's also probably where they got the idea to dial into the supergate, using black hole time dilation to keep the connection ongoing. It also led to two of my favorite SG1-related novels, where they actually attempt to go back and save the lost crew from the episode :D
I watch all Stargate and Miss it. My wife & I saw a Stargate open in the sky one night watching the stars, We saw a UFO go through the Gate it was amazing, Then my wife saw one again while she hanging clothes on the line in the daytime. This is so true about our world we still do not know everything about it, but I am still learning.
All of these rightfully deserve their claim to fame as the best episodes of each season, however I always look forward to Season 5; Episode 12 "Wormhole X-Treme!" & Season 10; Episode 200 "200". I just love when shows, especially long running ones, that take a moment to celebrate the show and the actors who star in them. It is just enjoyable to see them all having fun for the sake of fun.

Shades of Grey (Season 3) and The Other Side (Season 4) were favorites for those seasons. I know most prefer Sam and Jack interacting but I love when episodes sort of focus on Jack and Daniel's relationship, the good and the bad.
I was pleasantly surprised at this list. I can’t refute any of the choices. I’m really hoping for a fourth series to come out of the woodwork. I can only watch the existing material so much. I have yet to watch SGU, it’s in my list after I finish Atlantis. The only episode I would add to the list is 1969, so good.
pretty good list...I also liked Dead man Switch...with Daniel and Jack's Barokna scene....trying to open the voice activated door..almond bark...beetle juice..bark something...he said..he said what ? he said...Barokna !
I recently watched my favorite episodes. I specially love those with different civilizations, specially the advanced or post industrial revolution ones.
Best quotes per episode on the list (did It from memory so maybe I’m off a bit here and there) 1) Meaning of life, stuff... 2) Nu ani anchi’etas 3) Replicat0rz (by Thor) 4) In the middle of my backswing!? 5) If you immediately know that candlelight is fire, the meal was cooked a long time ago.. 6) Ba’al as in “bachy”? 7) Who are you really and why are you here? 8) I was working up the nerve to come and talk to you 9) it’s not magic (then getting beamed away in front of peasants) 10) Indeed, today we have achieved a great victory colonel Mitchel
By the time Adria comes around she just takes all my concentration away from the story because Morena Baccarin is on another level of beauty. A 10/10! Good lord!

The timesloop - of cause! Meeting Thor Cometreya 😉 Death of the one and only doctor from SG1 And so much more! Hope I can show this amazing show to my husband, once.
There were so many great episodes in the first 8 seasons. My favorite of season 1 was Sanctuary. Window of Opportunity was a shoe-in for season 4, but that season had so many strong episodes.
My List before watching th video. Season 1 - There But for the Grace of God Season 2 - The Fifth Race Season 3 - Crystal Skull Season 4 - 2010 Season 5 - Wormhole X-Treme! Season 6 - Cure Season 7 - Birthright Season 8 - Moebius 1 & 2 Season 9 - Ripple Effect Season 10 - The Pegasus Project
haven't started yet but time loop episode and the one where they got to Atlantis in season 10 and meet Morgan Leffe (however you spell it) better be on the list.
Not just for the young. I am 75, and I think SG-1 is the best series ever. I love the cast and I love the writing. I give some special effects a c plus however. Great stories that stretch the imagination to ponder what may be possible, and hopefully not probable.

One of my favorite is the one with the little boys Shifu, his line about evil and the subconscious is iconic.
I think it was actually written by Judge.
That one is awesome, too.
Indeed
Once RDA left my interest in the show dropped off totally. Personal favourites are Window of Opportunity, Beneath the Surface and 100 Days.
I love how the "fan favourite" episodes mostly are centred on a character exploration and growth.
Despite having watched this show easily over 10-15 times, i still watched all of this video with happiness! Oh, maybe because i am such a fan boy :o
Ledrash it’s just good even on rewatch!
Personal choices:
There are only 3 episodes throughout the whole 10 seasons i can do without; One False Step, the first ones, emancipation. Absolutley love all the rest.
Four races: *create universal language so they can communicate in a galaxy where basically everyone speaks English
… sounds like the new language was a hit
It was dubbed over, duh!
But none of the four great races originally did
You need to understand that this outpost was used thousands and thousands of years in the past, English simply hadn't been created yet.😊
I always liked those on-the-earth shady government thing episodes like Touchstone, Shades of Gray and Chain Reaction
I loved everytime they would go outside, on earth, like to drop by someone's place, or what have you. Teal'c's hats were always on point.
And the Russian stuff was always fun too. And Maybourne wasn't even mentioned 😮
I thought those were the worst episode. I thought the best were the independent moral dillema type episodes on planets.
In the season 8 episode you mentioned, they use the house of waffles from Dead Like Me.
Watch Dead Like Me you'll recognize the set.
I can remember this show bringing my family together so many times
What a fun review of the whole series! Totally agree with all these favorites.
Where was 200? That was gold!!!
yes 200 was great but that crossover between SG-1 and Atlantis called The Pegasus Project is a worthy winner indeed. My guess would be that 200 came in 2nd place in the poll.
200 can't hold a candle to Pegasus Project
Cant stand martin. Bumped it down a fair few places on my list
I don' click 'top ten' vids. This was a new way of looking at favourites. Well done ☺
I really liked the episode where that barber got linked to jack and started writing stories about SG:1s adventures I normally hate flashback episodes but that one was good.
Citizen Joe, it's the only flashback episode of anything I've ever actually enjoyed.
One of my personal favorites is "A Matter of Time". Nice video btw.
I really can’t pick one favorite I have been a fan ever since the first season.
The one where Daniel is stuck in South America. One of my favourites.
Central America actually. (Belize)
Yep. That had 2 parts, right?
@@marrenby Evolution Part 1 and 2 in the seventh season
Waterford1992 Thanks!
AKs for days :D
Window of Opportunity is my all time #1 favorite episode of SG1
I so had to hold back my tears in this episode. It was gorgeous.
Agreed. I know some people were disappointed that they didn't touch on the Ori plot, but I think they made the right choice by having the final episode be more character-driven and emotional.
Indeed!
Urgo with the late, great Dom Deluise is a difficult episode to leave off the list. One of the funniest comedians ever!
I like that Dom DeLuise makes an indirect cameo in a season 9 episode where Mitchell's having lunch with a buddy. The Pizza boxes say "DeLuise and Sons" and there's a picture of Dom with Peter on the lid.
I liked that as much as I liked the obnoxious fat guy on Atlantis- the one with the love potion and personal shield.
@@davido.1233 huh..I missed that ! must check it out...Urgo is a good one though...
Urgo was to annoying (yeah he played it perfectly, but damn)
@Raymond Gadreault She was in two episodes, playing different characters. S04E02 The Other Side and S10E15 Bounty.
They really should have joked about O'Neill MacGyvering the power supply... either in its construction or that he used a paperclip, rubberband, and some duck tape to finishe it off.
Awesome! this review is fabulous. I'm a huge Stargate fan (SG-1 and Atlantis).
2:58 "... and MacGyver's a new power source..."
I see what you did there.
That one was for you, Chris!
@@GateWorldDotNet came one year later just to ike this
10:25 That's Richard Dean Anderson's (probably one of his) private home.
In season 7, when General Hammond ordered collisions curse...I was at the edge of my seat. Great episode!
My greatest sci-fi t.v. shows
1)Stargate SG-1
2)Farscape
3)Babylon 5
4)Stargate Atlantis
5)Star Trek DS9
6)Firefly
7)Star Trek Voyager
8)Battlestar Galactic
9)Star Trek TNG
10)Alien Nation
I enjoyed all the shows you've listed, but I recommend you take a look at The Expanse now showing on Amazon Prime. Before seeing it my list would've been very similar to yours. But now the Expanse is in the top 3 perhaps #1. Truly an amazing show that ticks all the excellence boxes especially authentic science. I would also include Black Mirror as well.
@@marrenby Thanks man I'll check them out
Awesome . Loved every one of them. I like your order.
Few episodes where missed from this list that are my personal favourites. 200 for one, just pure comedy gold. And Beachhead, everything about that episode was epic.
I loved every episode of SG1, my most favorite episodes are with the Asgards.
Welp....that does it. Gotta rewatch SG1
Amazing video! Nice job bro
The black hole episode was brilliant, think it was early on.
Iron Bear Milk oh yeh! That was a good one
I loved how they presented the effects of gravity, time dilation, and the imminent doom of being sucked into a hole. SPOILERS Plus, the death of the SG at the beginning of the episode.
The episode right after The Fifth Race titled A Matter of Time.
Great list. The only one I disagree with, and it's a close call at that, is in season ten. "Unending" gets my vote over "Pegasus". Stargate SG-1 forever! Rock on!
On further reflection, I'd also have to choose "1969" over "The fifth Race" on this list, but what the heck, it's all great stuff.
Children of the Gods has to be my favorite from season one when the team is assembled and we meet Carter for the first time and she puts Jack in his place, and you see the respect Jack at that moment he has for her.
Stargate is the best sci-fi show ever and I wish it hadn't come to an end. It was brilliant.
I'm happy with the list, I would have definitely had a huge rant if the groundhog day episode wasn't there!
I love great ideas.
nah, fuck prequels, tired of that shit, the ancients where arrogant assholes.
I don't believe I could choose. There are so many awesome episodes.
Thanks for watching! Here's the Atlantis list, just recently published: th-cam.com/video/AhyJ4ae69oA/w-d-xo.html
@@GateWorldDotNet SWEET, thanks!
IN THE MIDDLE OF MY BACKSWING.

nofreenameforme123 I completely agree with you... It’s definitely in my top 3.
Agreed.
Also my favorite episode. Perfect ending.
Indeed
Nice to see many of my own favorites, thanks!
Every episodes of Stargate are masterpiece dude
So many great memories. Great 10-picks
I loved the series and the movie. I remember having stargate the game for the snes...

Awww, I loved Ernest ❤️.
I've got soo many fav episodes from various seasons.
I'm honestly suprised that 200 wasn't voted as the best episode of season 10
Great list, great show, sadly missed.
Solid list. Surprised by Threads but that whole series is great
Window of Opportunity and "The black hole episode" are my top 100% :D
I saw the movie than the series, best sci-fi show since Star-Trek!
Shades of Grey (Season 3) and The Other Side (Season 4) were favorites for those seasons. I know most prefer Sam and Jack interacting but I love when episodes sort of focus on Jack and Daniel's relationship, the good and the bad.
Great list. Nearly perfect. I'd say Summit was the best episode of season 5.
Amazing job man
My favourite show ever!!! i can watch it over and over....
I have the complete box set plus all the movies, it took me a while to collect & cost a fortune but was worth it, might give it a re run.
Great selection!
pretty good list...I also liked Dead man Switch...with Daniel and Jack's Barokna scene....trying to open the voice activated door..almond bark...beetle juice..bark something...he said..he said what ? he said...Barokna !
I recently watched my favorite episodes. I specially love those with different civilizations, specially the advanced or post industrial revolution ones.
I got the Hulu groundhog day show right after you talked about the episode where they relived the same day over and over again.
Best quotes per episode on the list (did It from memory so maybe I’m off a bit here and there)
1) Meaning of life, stuff...
2) Nu ani anchi’etas
3) Replicat0rz (by Thor)
4) In the middle of my backswing!?
5) If you immediately know that candlelight is fire, the meal was cooked a long time ago..
6) Ba’al as in “bachy”?
7) Who are you really and why are you here?
8) I was working up the nerve to come and talk to you
9) it’s not magic (then getting beamed away in front of peasants)
10) Indeed, today we have achieved a great victory colonel Mitchel
Greatest Sci fi show of all time
totally agree - even more - the BEST series of any kind of all time!
By the time Adria comes around she just takes all my concentration away from the story because Morena Baccarin is on another level of beauty. A 10/10! Good lord!
Shades of Grey and Lifeboat are the most underrated Stargate SG-1 episodes.
I'm in the midst watching SG-1 season 5 .. Can't wait to explore more till season 10.
since I liked Atlantis also, I can say "Pegasus project". And the interaction between Daniel and McKay... loved it. My favorites from the franchise
The Dakara-device is NOT a weapon. I have no idea why people keep referring to it as such. It's a form of terraforming device (recreation device).
Its only ever use in the show is as a weapon, so that explains why it keeps being referred to as one.
Bit late, but i wanna write some, too. My favorits have been: the not upcrowing kids who have to give their knowlege to their adults. (Showed sooooo much about Jacks character.
The timesloop - of cause!
Meeting Thor
Cometreya 😉
Death of the one and only doctor from SG1
And so much more!
Hope I can show this amazing show to my husband, once.
There were so many great episodes in the first 8 seasons. My favorite of season 1 was Sanctuary. Window of Opportunity was a shoe-in for season 4, but that season had so many strong episodes.
My List before watching th video.
Season 1 - There But for the Grace of God
Season 2 - The Fifth Race
Season 3 - Crystal Skull
Season 4 - 2010
Season 5 - Wormhole X-Treme!
Season 6 - Cure
Season 7 - Birthright
Season 8 - Moebius 1 & 2
Season 9 - Ripple Effect
Season 10 - The Pegasus Project
how can you chose 2010 over Window of Opportunity?
haven't started yet but time loop episode and the one where they got to Atlantis in season 10 and meet Morgan Leffe (however you spell it) better be on the list.
Not just for the young. I am 75, and I think SG-1 is the best series ever. I love the cast and I love the writing. I give some special effects a c plus however. Great stories that stretch the imagination to ponder what may be possible, and hopefully not probable.
I just realized what that reference was in that season 2 episode
