Who is still listening 2020? Oh my teens was lit with real love songs that evoked deep emotions. Melancholy of decades gone by 😢. Rest in power PM Dawn
You don't just listen to this song. You close your eyes, and experience it. This music cascades over me like water, and it brings me back to 1992, when I was younger and my life was simpler. PM Dawn had a mystic sound, and it started with Prince Be's voice. I never get tired of this.
Jeffrey Sero Yeah Jeffrey, it brought back a whole lot of memories for me. Memories I will never forget. The days have moved on and so have I but the past will never die.
Sitting here 55 yrs young making a playlist with my 22yro daughter with music from the late 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and early 2000 when music was still raw real authentic and souls stirring ❤️🎵🎶🎵❤️
I'm 45 years old and I still love this song. It tells my life back in the 90s. I miss music like this. It has groove, sadness and everything you think about in relationships even at this age.
M Zach I’m 49, too😁. Those were my best days! This song makes me FEEL!!! If I could go back, I’d appreciate those days a whole lot more than I did at the time🙄. Love this💕. 🌈
david barkley I totally agree with you there!! This group.... pure talent!!! I've listened to many talented artists in my life time but the music of PM Dawn is absolutely unforgettable if you've ever had the privilege to hear their songs! Music like this is just gold to me!!
Aw, 1993, got my first girlfriend, cruising around with friends, I remember playing this on my car radio, before ipods, smart phones and the internet. MTV was fully blown and radio was still a thing.
I was in high school too when it came out. I was into metal at that time and then got into goth and still am goth today, but I have always loved this song. beautiful composition and lyrics. Being in high school in the 90s was a magical time for lots of great music to emerge and people who liked music from different genres could give props to other music then what they listened to. At the end of the day, great music is still great music.

Exactly the 90's soul music is a peak in its own league that generation was totally incredible we had, if you lived during this time you we're truly blessed and other generations will never understand maybe some but not most
Set Adrift on Memory Bliss was the first P.M. Dawn song I heard, it used to get played a lot when I was a kid in the 90's. I'm now in my late 30's and have found myself revisiting a lot of the music that made an impression on me in my youth. This artist is one of the musicians I have revisited and discovering the rest of his catalogue has been a real pleasure. I really enjoy his sound, it is deeply relaxing and emotive.

P.M.Dawn, we love you! This came out in 1992 when the love of my life and I first fell in love in High School! Aaron, my husband of almost 19 years and father to our 6 children, I'd die without you!
Forever classic. RIP Prince BE. A legit masterpiece. It's like how men interpret heartbreak and love in musical form. It is spiritual. Perfect selection when Marcus was reformed in love in Boomerang ❤😍
I'm finally in love, real love true and honest heartfelt love, I only had these feelings once I was 19 I'm 37 and it's a great feeling in the world to know I love this man
The piano is well integrated, as is the synths and the strings, the groovy percussive sounds, combine with the mellowness of the vocals. An underrated jewel this song is...

I am totally with you here Bernard. I was young and yet I could not understand the emotions I felt while listening to this classic. I pray PM Dawn is really in heaven because of this one. The world needs more of these type of songs, and just maybe suicides and depression will be replaced by hope.
I’m 47, still convinced our era had the best songs. In retrospect, the late 80’s and early to mid 90’s felt like a cultural renaissance. I don’t know if the kids today are experiencing the life we had. It was a magical time.
This song transcends me into a BLISSFUL TIME and MOMENT of when my life was FUN and SOULFULL....it still gives me these feelings today when I play it full BASS FULL VOLUME CRUZIN IN MY CAR!!!!
Yes they were and still are my favorite artists. This particular song was me and my deceased fiancée.sDenise- r.i.p.) favorite . Singing it together back then was awsome. Listening and singing to it now, i can hear her voice too. Thanks.
As a teenager I first heard this song. I was in to rap and heavy metal. Weird variety of music bit I heard this...I knew this would be eternal. In 2014 I dedicated to my little girl because she is also eternal to me.
For those of y'all that wasn't around in the 70ds and 80ds y'all missed some of the best music ever made but its me we go late to listen to great music
when I leave this body of mine, and leave this world. my spirit will still crave this song forever more. this melody has got me through thick and thin, and yet set my spirit at ease. so, many artists have come and gone, but it's what they done that leave the legacy for all to listen and enjoy. sadly most music doesn't leave you fulfilled and wonder after listening to it, like this song and others take for granted.
Well said when an artist can touch your emotions and make you feel then they truly have achieved something so much of these artist bore me but when a song makes me feel like crying then my hat off to them to all my loved ones my brother mother cousins who have passed on ill see you soon enough
One of the absolute best songs in history! I was only 7 years old when PM Dawn became large but I knew their music. I heard it often in my house. This has always been my favorite. Rest in power Prince B 🕊️
I was about 10 when this song came out. I'd always listen to it when I'd hear it on the radio. But never knew who sang it. Then like over 10 years later i was driving my brothers car and he had it on a CD he made for his GF. When I took his car back I asked him who sang it and he told me. I had FINALLY found it! I love this song.
This song will never die. As a young man I done so many dumb things to hurt so many women. Not even caring about how they felt afterwards, until you hurt the wrong one. The one you actually loved and cared about the most. When she leaves and never returns, it's like living in Hell. Now your stuck forever replaying that same bone head, silly ass mistake. You're damn near force to grow the hell up at that point. You lost her ,..and now you'll know how to treat the next one. But DAMN!!!!!!!!,she was the one you saw forever with. Tough Lesson Learned.
This was my "song " with my first girlfriend when I was 13 (41 now) ..we used to couple roller skate together, while they played this song, holding hands...there's a feeling I get when I hear this song that takes me back to a time and place that I will never forget
Awww I know how you feel. My BFF died from cancer at 16. It's been 23 years and I will never forget my boogie. Be thankful for the memories you two had together.
This song is so timeless, soulful and makes me remenice of years passed and ex girlfriends that's long gone. It's so true: you don't know what u have untill it's too late. Then u only left by yourself listening to this song on repeat. Cherish those in your life while they still with u before it's too late too apologize. 😓😑 Isn't it amazing how some things can completely turn around, wow.
My God I'm 51 now!! When I came across PM DAWN I was 22!!! Isn't it amazing how things really turn around!!! Sighing and shaking my head!!! Enjoy Life Fans!!!!!!!

This song still gets me every time. Love the “90” Jams!!
Lisa Johnson my favorite era those 90's
Lisa Johnson me too!
Its sad
Good era
One of the most beautiful songs ever written and sung...
You are So Right.💓
❤❤thee most beautiful song of the 90's
This song transcends me into a BLISSFUL TIME and MOMENT of when my life was FUN and SOULFULL....it still gives me these feelings today when I play it full BASS FULL VOLUME CRUZIN IN MY CAR!!!!
Yes they were and still are my favorite artists. This particular song was me and my deceased fiancée.sDenise- r.i.p.) favorite . Singing it together back then was awsome. Listening and singing to it now, i can hear her voice too. Thanks.
Nice one, Jill.
@@philipnorris6542 sweet I'm sure she can feel the love 💕😘
Yesssss!!!
As a teenager I first heard this song. I was in to rap and heavy metal. Weird variety of music bit I heard this...I knew this would be eternal. In 2014 I dedicated to my little girl because she is also eternal to me.
My musical taste is wide ranging also. We all know music is categorized by the sounds, .if a song sounds good doesn't matter who made it!!
❤️🕊️❤️
Song writers today should be required to listen to this gem. PM Dawn did it right with all the emotional elements of this gorgeous number.
I can't stop playing "I'd die without you" over and over and over again!!!! The best song ever.
Same
Jesus Guillen, Jr. I just listened to it 4 times in a row so I know how you and many others feel...Nothing but bliss to our ears
1 of the most beautiful songs ever.
I was watching "Yellowstone" and this appeared... Timeless , thanks - memories!
October 2019 and this song evokes the same emotions when I heard it all those years as a young guy trying to find the light at the end of the tunnel
Awesome song!
For those of y'all that wasn't around in the 70ds and 80ds y'all missed some of the best music ever made but its me we go late to listen to great music
I still get goose bumps and I’ve this song a million times !
Anti Foolishness yes I do !
Wow. This song is haunting. Truly an accomplishment.
PM Dawn wrote such beautiful songs. More of him!
when I leave this body of mine, and leave this world. my spirit will still crave this song forever more. this melody has got me through thick and thin, and yet set my spirit at ease. so, many artists have come and gone, but it's what they done that leave the legacy for all to listen and enjoy. sadly most music doesn't leave you fulfilled and wonder after listening to it, like this song and others take for granted.
Well said when an artist can touch your emotions and make you feel then they truly have achieved something so much of these artist bore me but when a song makes me feel like crying then my hat off to them to all my loved ones my brother mother cousins who have passed on ill see you soon enough
Powerful, bro. Very well said. Respect.
Oliver Abeyta Jr. you just revealed what a beautiful soul you have 🌻😊
Deep
December 2019!! Yaaaassssss!! Love you if you give this a thumbs up because you have great taste in music.
im playing this at my wedding
One of the absolute best songs in history! I was only 7 years old when PM Dawn became large but I knew their music. I heard it often in my house. This has always been my favorite. Rest in power Prince B 🕊️
I was about 10 when this song came out. I'd always listen to it when I'd hear it on the radio. But never knew who sang it. Then like over 10 years later i was driving my brothers car and he had it on a CD he made for his GF. When I took his car back I asked him who sang it and he told me. I had FINALLY found it! I love this song.
Just lost my soul mate this year and this song suddenly has even greater depth than I can ever convey. Miss you and am dying without you
beautiful.chaos so sorry for your loss ❤️

beautiful.chaos, I send you my condolences and prayers to you. 🙏🕊️💕
Beautiful song 🥰
Classic…. Just a fantastic melodic “gumbo” of sadness, happiness, strength and love all in one track. Seriously miss the real R&B of the 90s
I was 16 when this came out . I’m 46 now . Time flies and
This song is still a banger !!!
I was 12.😊
If I can go back and visit the early 90’s just one day
Bring back our era of music. Just throw 2020 away period.
I feel you
Me to bro
Pain is the best teacher.
2020 and this still a hit
This was my "song " with my first girlfriend when I was 13 (41 now) ..we used to couple roller skate together, while they played this song, holding hands...there's a feeling I get when I hear this song that takes me back to a time and place that I will never forget

Awww I know how you feel. My BFF died from cancer at 16. It's been 23 years and I will never forget my boogie. Be thankful for the memories you two had together.

Me, when music had meaning ❤️
2nd of Jan 2020
The lyrics and vocals on this song are great, but, the piano solo and rhythm are amazing. Great song all around
Yes.indeed..
Favorite track on "Boomerang"❤️
Love the movie and love the soundtrack!!
Mine, too.
Simply powerful words ya?
@Becky P I bought it for this song and "Love Shoulda Brought You Home"
