By far the best of the three films!!! Kudos to Taylor Schilling; she had that very special "edge" that made her truly believable. Too bad she did not do the other two films. How many of our current Federal Government idiots can you recognize from this trailer? Does not Wesley Mouch remind one of "Big Sis" (Janet Napolitan) who destroyed our national security by the politically correct treatment of the Islamo Nazis, as she has now destroyed a once highly regarded academic institution.......the University of California at Berkely, and now the entire U-Cal System?
Holy crap, they brought Tesla atmospheric electricity into this story? Brilliant! Really demonstrates to us "modern" folk now how much of a breakaway civilization there could be, and likely is
It's weird seeing Atlas Shrugged in a modern day setting after reading the book. I always imagined an old fashioned black and white movie whenever I read the book. With the muffled audio and just a *slight* hint of british in everyone's voice.
It is the 'how?', that Ayn Rand had built the Enigma of 'The man who will stop the motor (Technology gear) of the world' which explains her genius, and not the 'why?'.
pretty good cast except for Schilling as Dagny, the toneless, expressionless voice totally contrasts to her dramatic acting, not to mention those flirty innocent eyes and the hint of smile are totally out of the context.
Wow.. Eddie. !!! I don't know which version of this it is, but it's great to see. Full stop. This isn't the book. I sort of like it, but it's geared towar... This book can't be made into a film. It just doesn't work. You have to edit her writing, which she was hard against. This isn't the book. This is not Atlas Shrugged. Where the fuck is Sidney Poitier? This is a stain.

toscanini9 I agree with you. Education of the people will hopefully change things.
In the case of U-Cal, there wasn't much to destroy.
READ THE BOOK. I cannot emphasize it enough. the movies are good, the book has so much more.
I love the 1st Movie, its unbeatable
Can't wait to see the movie. Too bad the real life version is more scary.

The best for America is yet to come...
I can hardly read the sign in front of the burning oil wells. Macbook Pro Retina.
i've seen all three many times, NEVER say the Previously on, at the start of the movies

This movie was actually pretty good but the other two were crap! And of course the book is so much better in so many levels
Wowee what a snoozer.
