@@SpaceBrotha She probably knows she needs it. Noise suppression is used for a reason. Shes not a new streamers she probably chose to have it on
@@venkaramon Streamers know at this point in life that any other program that does noise reduction is better than dogshit's discord one. For me it seems most streamers simply don't care about it, or don't know about it.
God I'm just loving the buildup to VSaikyo right now. I really can't get enough of it because we can see it from so many very different angles. The return of Astel vs. Matsuri, the stunned crowd observing Startend (Aqua/Towa/Suisei), Hal and Alelu's commentary and discussions with individual teams. We even have Nijisanji EN participating via Reimu on Ex Albio's team. I am so hyped for this.

Summer Color Festival is popping
I've been saying this for a while but Matsuri is the best IGL in Hololive. When she's trying to win her comms and instructions are on point, she manages the teams mental and can even micro manage their inventories, util and positioning.
yes, she may not be the best solo player at holopro but she has the best communication ability. Astel maybe better than her as a solo player, but sometimes he got tunnel vision on his fight and miss his team mate calls. i'm still really curios about StartEnd (Aqua, Towa, Sui) they're not streaming during custom and i wonder who's the IGL, how is the communication or is it just Aqua making her solo master miracle with a solid backup by Towa and Sui.
@@fadelpw511 There are quite a few POVs of some of their games and their teamwork seems to be on point. They even won 2 out of the 5 custom games back to back. Towa tweeted that they switched to Aqua as IGL with Towa calling micro-adjustments. Aqua has been an absolute monster but I think Suisei is the most impressive just because how much better she's gotten in so little time...all while 3rd Fes and her Birthday Live are going on.
As an overall IGL i agree. Aqua is insane in smaller skirmishes and Towa is good at general shot calling but Matsuri is basically micro managing her teammates on top of shot calling keeping tabs on their ults inventories and movement
I would agree but IMO micromanaging that stuff is actually detrimental. In intense teamfights you can't rely on one person to manage everything when they might not have all the information or might be busy duelling - from my experience in masters lobbies the best is to have the IGL call initial setups and ults, but the actual execution gets left to the players themselves. This also keeps the comms clear of fluff which can get in the way of people thinking or hearing the opponents, which is a bigger deal than you might initially think. That said what works for me might not work for everyone else, but I also get similar vibes watching pro players - the calls during fights are just target calls and ults, or rotations.
Edit: I made this comment, thought for a second, and then remembered that matsuri's teammates aren't as good as her so the managing might be more beneficial in general for things strong players would find obvious, but I still feel like it's weak to chaotic play. In particular matsuri really needs to call bubbles because at least as far as this clip shows hoshikawa's dome placement could use some work.
@@omarathas5329 Yeah I get that, that would be true if she was in a masters lobby, but she isn't. She's in customs with plats and diamonds. Also I was just saying that she can when she has to, you'll notice she barely does it here but there are VODs from previous tournaments where she won telling her less experienced teammates to hold certain angles, save the 1 nade they had, loot a certain body for ammo they would need all while getting shot at from like 3 different teams. It was honestly kinda crazy.

@@jonnn3477 nope scrim is tournament dry run so the difference is 1 this is not hosted by the official tournament organizers, 2 some teams are viewers, 3 official scrims have been announced to be at 1/11/2022... These are minor details but necessary to avoid confusion... Cause things like this may happen
