- i think this was a nice way to end the album! i don't listen to this song much i like it haha
i remember at first listen i was like okay ending things with a ballad..... then tiff started talking and i was so confused, then sooyoung's rap (?) came and i was even more confused HAHAHA i wish i could listen to this song for the first time again because it was really something !!!!!!! and imo the choruses here are soooooo slay

ngl tho i can hear jessica have taeyeon’s line in the opening/at the start and sunny’s line in the bridge (same problem as i have with green light. i adore sunny’s voice but she was not right for bump it or green light bridge…)
@@Isabellawithsnsd9 i have a feeling this could be an ot9 song originally as well😅 idk any song where a member has lines that doesn't suit them - especially in this era, makes me feel like it was an ot9 song initially (or they just didn't who to give it to lol again maybe tiff would suit that more)
@ no lowkey this gibes me such ot9 vibes… like its said on wikipedia that this album was recroded from february? march? 2015 to july 2015. so i’m like no way y’all made pure ot8 songs for 3/4 months. at least half of these songs were made with jessica or ot9 in mind
@ honestly the late 2014-2015 era is so mysterious omg😭😭 i feel like there's sooooo much stuff about the songs we don't know, like whether or not they're ot9...tbh you can tell, i feel like if this song were ot9 maybe the choruses would be all of them though🤔
right like we know green light was and i know for sure its not the only one, i feel like fire alarm could've also been originally ot9 because i can imagine jessica's voice in the all parts of the chorus and girl it just sounds so right
@@sawottalgi i think lion heart would have had the mr taxi set up (vocal line for part 1 & 2, dance line for bridge/end of the song)
but yeah honestly i think MAYBE sign was made after jessica got kicked. its the only track i cannot see her on. you think too maybe but also tiffany has a part where she strains in you think so maybe thats what was jessicas line?? idrk… UGHH i wish we could know
like sooyoung posting a picture of her as a lion (a lion mask on, alongside yoona with a bunny mask)… this was summer 2014/during the best album/right before tokyo dome was announced… i lowkey think they were given the concept for their future album (lion heart) during that time ngl.

jessica gets kicked in september 2014, they stop with the catchgg stuff
(catchgg was meant to hint at jpn cmiyc being revealed at tokyo dome with ot9)
sm suddenly says they are releasing a kor and a jpn ver of cmiyc single in spring 2015…
(here is where i think: cmiyc and girls jpn was gonna be performed live at tokyo dome december 2014 and released… then cmiyc single kor would be released and promoted in april 2015)
then party in july 2015 - as ot9, pre release for lion heart album
then lion heart in 2015 - as ot9
@@Isabellawithsnsd9 true!!!! and fr tho sign is soooo not ot9 at all like with lion heart it still kinda sounds like ot9 songs (for sure they were) it was probably added last minute since it's the most filler song of the album + it feels unfinished likeeee ya know the empty "bridge" and all
the part in the second pre-chorus right 😭😭cuz i agree sooo much like it wad around this era tiff was getting lines that were clearly out of her range, and it makes sense for jess to do that line ngl since taeyeon did it first and
they have had the same line manyyyy times (e.g. goodbye, flyers, way to go, gee, ane definitely a looot more!!!)
stopppp that basically proves that it was supposed to be an ot9 cb like girl 💔💔💔 and had jess never been kicked - they MAYBE would have released their 4th japanese album like around 2015? (it seems like it was a yearly thing considering they had one japanese album a year from 2011-2014)

@@sawottalgii think fans mostly eat these songs up cuz of the choreo tbh… the fact both songs have props makes me think fans wanted more choreos like that. looking back they rarely used props? at least with tours with jessica
