I have found post-mil teachings to be very consistent with scripture. A hindrance for the western mind in proper biblical understanding is our individualistic mindset and individualistic freedoms and individualistic Saviour we have. Our gospel is "accept Jesus into your heart".
However, that language is not found in the scriptures. Further, the idea of covenantal relationships according to God's promise to Abraham is all, but lost.
Therefore, a covenantal identity, according to the promise of God given to Abraham, and marching orders to preach the kingdom of God and to make disciples, ties in very well with a post-mil eschatology.
    A reformed soteriology doesn't hurt either 😉😄
    Thank you for your teaching.

So glad Doug Wilson sees Matthew 24 the same way I have come to believe it. It's not about the second coming. It's about the great commission.
But this man, after offering one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God. He is now waiting until his enemies are made his footstool.
    Hebrews 10:12‭-‬13

So when Jesus said when I return will I really find faith on the earth what is that about?

I don’t think that passage is necessarily eschatological. That parable could refer to the judgement of Jerusalem in AD 70.
Would love to hear Doug’s response though.

@@gerritcain210 Jesus did not return in 70 A.D. unless you want to be like the Jehovah's Witnesses and claim Jesus' return was invisible.

That passage I believe is about His return in judgement on Jerusalem which occurred in first century during 7 year war with Rome 66-74 AD. Jerusalem and temple were destroyed in 70 AD.
In fact there are many more versus in the NT that are referring to His coming in judgement in the first century, than verses about the final end of history. That's why so many versus speak of imminence, "at hand", "time is near" "soon" etc. The "last days" are not about our current history or future, but were about the last days of the old covenant system which still stood at the time. As Hebrews says it was "growing old and ready to pass way". So those last days did pass away almost 2000 years ago.
I believe "will I find faith on the earth" is regarding the first century persecution that Satan launched and almost destroyed the church throughout the Roman empire. But for the sake of the elect, God cut those days short otherwise the church could have been wiped out, and if so, no faith would have been found on earth by 70 AD

This reminds me, for those Christians against Christian nationalism, I highly recommend you sing only secular Christmas songs lest you be offended...

Yes we need resolve but first we need understanding. I don’t see where that can come from.
I also don’t believe in the separation of church and state but the church is local and it’s English name is fellowship (having no relation to a building or corporate organization).
Christ rules men, who are over their families and nation (as we are; if we understand).
That there will be holdouts is my problem: so many don’t believe. It seems to only get worse.

how can their still be people resisting and living in sin when - when HE Returns if All Sin IS Put Under HIS Feet first?

I think he's referring to the time prior to His return when all Christ's enemies heve become a footstool to Him. Once all His enemies have become a footstool Christ will return....... don't quote me on tis tho.
