Can someone answer the question: Why did God not just forgive Adam if the Christian God is so loving? Why make generations of human beings carry the sin if Christian God is not a vindictive god? This is such a common misunderstanding that Muslims are taught. First, God DID forgive Adam and Eve. He sent Jesus to die for their sins so they won't have to pay the price. Second, if you mean, "Why didn't he let them go without any punishment?" the answer is simple: God is forgiving but also just. When you do wrong, you are confronted with punishment. But because God is forgiving, He sacrificed Himself to take the punishment for you. Lastly, the "original sin" doctrine is BS. The Bible clearly says that you are not accountable for others' sins. Example: "“‘What?’ you ask. ‘Doesn’t the child pay for the parent’s sins?’ No! For if the child does what is just and right and keeps my decrees, that child will surely live. The person who sins is the one who will die. The child will not be punished for the parent’s sins, and the parent will not be punished for the child’s sins. Righteous people will be rewarded for their own righteous behavior, and wicked people will be punished for their own wickedness." Ezekiel 18:19-20 You may ask, why then are we not born in the garden? Ultimately because it doesn't matter. We all would have eaten the fruit. Unless you have not sinned, you cannot argue otherwise. Also, as an aside, Genesis is very metaphorical so it's hard to say whether or not the story should be taken completely literally. The message is important: we as humans are tempted by the devil and give in when we doubt God's greatness. We are all selfish and all worthy of death because of our sins. That is the message. If what you take away is the "original sin" theory, you missed the point.

Yes they can, God punishes and forgives whom He pleases. We are not the ones to say what and who can be forgiven and what cannot except for what God has made known to us. God is the one who is the MOST Merciful, Oft Forgiving. Don't underestimate or put a limit on the mercy, grace, and forgiveness of God. His mercy is greater than your sins, and indeed it prevails over His wrath, and most importantly He alone is capable of forgiving sins.

Brother cristian says that our God will not forgive our sins and therefore he sends his innocent son to die for us, and then he forgive us. Why do he have to kill his son to forgive us. He can always forgive us without killing his son. Think.
If your sins go unpunished, God is not fair and just. And you, like everyone, has sinned. And we are told very clearly numerous times that the penalty for any sin is death. You believe in a just God, but you sit fingers crossed that he for some reason will decide to be unjust and let your sins go unpunished. You are told to emulate Muhammad (strange since he murdered people who disagreed with him and advocated for raping enslaved women)... but even Muhammad said he didn't know if he was going to heaven. So, if your supposedly most "holy" prophet whose actions you try to emulate isn't sure if he'll go to heaven, how can you in any way be sure that you will??? The one and only logical way for God to forgive your sins and maintain integrity is to pay the price for you. Anything less would be a travesty of justice.

Can someone answer the question: Why did God not just forgive Adam if the Christian God is so loving? Why make generations of human beings carry the sin if Christian God is not a vindictive god? Why accept the sacrifice for the original sin from Christ when he did not sin? Punishing an innocent person is unfair?

This is such a common misunderstanding that Muslims are taught.
First, God DID forgive Adam and Eve. He sent Jesus to die for their sins so they won't have to pay the price.
Second, if you mean, "Why didn't he let them go without any punishment?" the answer is simple: God is forgiving but also just. When you do wrong, you are confronted with punishment. But because God is forgiving, He sacrificed Himself to take the punishment for you.
Lastly, the "original sin" doctrine is BS. The Bible clearly says that you are not accountable for others' sins. Example:
"“‘What?’ you ask. ‘Doesn’t the child pay for the parent’s sins?’ No! For if the child does what is just and right and keeps my decrees, that child will surely live. The person who sins is the one who will die. The child will not be punished for the parent’s sins, and the parent will not be punished for the child’s sins. Righteous people will be rewarded for their own righteous behavior, and wicked people will be punished for their own wickedness."

You may ask, why then are we not born in the garden? Ultimately because it doesn't matter. We all would have eaten the fruit. Unless you have not sinned, you cannot argue otherwise.
Also, as an aside, Genesis is very metaphorical so it's hard to say whether or not the story should be taken completely literally. The message is important: we as humans are tempted by the devil and give in when we doubt God's greatness. We are all selfish and all worthy of death because of our sins.
That is the message. If what you take away is the "original sin" theory, you missed the point.
You will have to die and after death ask that question no one on earth has the capacity to understand God’s mind.

all one has to do is look at what jesus said in the bible he clearly claimed to be god. the i am is found in many places and it is always god that is assosiated with the i am. look at the scriptures that christians have ten of thousands and the early christians believed jesus to be god.the jews crucified him for claiming to be god, the son of man is this claim .when we look at muslim's claims that jesus did not die their case is weak and unfounded.
if you read the bible in context jesus claimed to be god many times. he clearly said i an the father are one. before abraham was i am . when we see i am it is god who has this title. jesus even said he sits at the right hand of the father, when he was crucified he was cruicified by the jews for claiming to be god. evidently you are not very well versed about the bible. look it up from any scholar. jesus is god

Yes they can, God punishes and forgives whom He pleases. We are not the ones to say what and who can be forgiven and what cannot except for what God has made known to us. God is the one who is the MOST Merciful, Oft Forgiving. Don't underestimate or put a limit on the mercy, grace, and forgiveness of God. His mercy is greater than your sins, and indeed it prevails over His wrath, and most importantly He alone is capable of forgiving sins.

Mr. Nabeel I'm sad that after the azab that Allah gives you, you still don't repent. Brother cristian says that our God will not forgive our sins and therefore he sends his innocent son to die for us, and then he forgive us. Why do he have to kill his son to forgive us. He can always forgive us without killing his son. Think.
If your sins go unpunished, God is not fair and just. And you, like everyone, has sinned. And we are told very clearly numerous times that the penalty for any sin is death.
You believe in a just God, but you sit fingers crossed that he for some reason will decide to be unjust and let your sins go unpunished. You are told to emulate Muhammad (strange since he murdered people who disagreed with him and advocated for raping enslaved women)... but even Muhammad said he didn't know if he was going to heaven.
So, if your supposedly most "holy" prophet whose actions you try to emulate isn't sure if he'll go to heaven, how can you in any way be sure that you will???
The one and only logical way for God to forgive your sins and maintain integrity is to pay the price for you. Anything less would be a travesty of justice.
