This is what I wanted from Hmong story telling, a modern Gen-Z take . My Hmong sucks and this makes it more enjoyable for me to understand and keep up.
This story got me thinking of a farm where basically all hmong community flooded to for cows, pigs, chickens and even rented land from the owner to do their own crops to grow. Everyone basically went there for fiv yeem or pauj yeem. Heck my family used it to do tsos plig there just once from what i remembered. Honestly, I don't know why we stopped going there. Possible all the grandparent's generation all passed and they were always the ones who would fiv yeem or pauj yeem. However, I think there was something else that stopped my family from going there. It was only ever rumors but considering the some of the sketchy things a lot of other Hmong families did I think it caused and attracted a poj ntxoog to manifest. Thus, why a lot of Hmong families from all clans stopped going there to do spiritual things there. If you're in MN you know where i am talking about. Highway 52 that one farm that has train tracks and trains that regularly passes through. Yeah, that place was creepy. I haven't gone back to that place in like 17-18 years.
Omg! After listening to this story, I thought about the place on 52. We use to rent the land there to garden. The land we rented from the guy was closer to the main road. So it was more secluded. I was probably around 8 or 9 years old and was out there gardening with my mom and sister. We had two plots but they weren’t next to each other. My mom told me to work on the garden closest to the road while she and my sister would go work on the one towards the back. My mom never allowed us to cross over other people’s plots to get to the other garden because we may accidentally step on their crops. So you had to go around towards the back or side where it was wooded. I must’ve had a question for my mom and decided to head towards her. As I got half way there, I kept hearing someone call my name over and over again but like a whisper. I knew it wasn’t my mom or sister. I was so scared and ran so fast. When I got to my mom and sister, they both confirmed that they didn’t call out my name. I’m almost 40 and can still remember that day like it was yesterday. I’m so glad we stopped gardening after that year.
Wow I really like your style of storytelling, it’s unique and very different from others. I love that you narrate it and also reenact it, Makes it super creepy. I ran out of scary story to listen to and my husband just found your TH-cam and introduced it to me a couple days ago. I already listened to all of them lol. Keep it up with the good work. Looking forward to hear more.
Great story and contents. Love that you tell the story yet the characters in the story take part and hearing their conversations with the surrounding actions. Look forward to more exciting and scary story.

I know exactly which place you're talking about!!! As a kid, I remember going there a few times for nyuj dab. I wonder if it's still in operation
@@MVhorror I believe it is still in operation but I don't hear a lot of hmong people going there anymore since Long Cheng opened.
According to my uncle he saw a poj nxtoog where everyone use to do nuj dab and tsos plig
