Its not just about getting kills - its about getting kills when you expect
1. Easy kills (acting as third party e.g.)
2. Necessary kills: You are sandwiched between two teams or can expect a team to attack you at the ring closing.
3. Isolated fights with no 3rd party involment.
I think the last weeks they are doing pretty well as you could see on Matchday 7 in game 5 and 6. Game 5 they eliminated Falcons, Game 6 they were (2 of 3) elimnated by Falcons due to the necessary engagement with NRG who were directly below TSM.
What i thought the last weeks is that they need to engage more! Everytime they got a win or a +15 points on Matchdays they were reasonably aggressive - for a good reason: They are still one of the best shooting teams, especially with Evan.
Means i dont think aggressive gameplay or engagment in fight is the basic issue. In my opinion its a more obvious reason: The commitment to fights or the basic question "which gameplay might be successful?".
I feel there is (from time to time) a slight disparity between the 3 of them.
While sometimes you ask yourself why they are not engaging and keep running for an (already lost) position, sometimes you feel there is slight overcommitment by Evan (yes, from time to time it looks like that).
On other days, especially last matchday game 5, they are perfectly balanced and can beat anyone.
I am pretty sure they have regular internal discussion how to engage in certain situations, but as a "simple viewer" (and fan) it seems there are uncertain situations from time to time in which a clear command from the IGL should be given and followed by everyone to stop possible unclarity on how to proceed instantly.
The skills of Evan and Reps can be trusted as well as the IGL skills of Zap: Everyone talked (beside all the falcons talk) about the great run of SSG and LG (righfully so) - but who else is shared 2nd place after a disastrous start into this split?

I don't understand how it's so hard for you guys as a team to play for zone and win, that's literally how HAL IGL and TSM always get through win 🏆 but now you're always getting a good zone which you guys will gave up the position to competite for fight or running around for kills.... Is this a kill leader game because I honestly don't understand you guys gameplay anymore.... Moreover teams that play for zone always get high kills at final zone (that's mostly how the Falcons plays)...... Evan needs to calm his nerves, I feel they is nobody to shout on him anymore and his just running around map showing off his 1v1 skills which won't get you a good point unless you play for zone..... I stay up every 11:00pm to 3:00Am to watch you guys keep doing this since HAL left 😢..... Someone needs to start shouting on Evan, he really needs it
