I use programs and hardware from the company "Native Instruments" Traktor Pro 3 + Traktor Kontrol S3 + Komplete Kontrol A 25 as an effects module! You can program any MIDI controller for Traktor Pro 3.
and my old MacBook Pro 13 (2011) I not only play on it, but also write music (sketches) since a full-fledged project is not enough.
start with inexpensive equipment! The choice of controllers is very large! start small and it will become clear what is comfortable for you! I hope Native Instruments release their decks!
