This is beyond the best footage I've ever seen as far as POV is concerned. I've never liked POV, the view where it appears that the camera is sitting right on top of the track. This changes that forever! I really hope we start seeing WAY more of this. I could really get a sense of the airtime on those hills.
I've just watched this over and over not only for the amazing out & back coaster experience but MOSTLY for that vocal bliss reaction expressed from the male backseat rider at the 3rd camelback hill @ 2:02-2:04 filled with airtime... I FELT that floater airtime with you man!!!✊
Jason McLemore thanks! Can’t wait to do more coasters! Already planning what positions to be in for certain turns 😂 It’s fun to do but I’m sure the people next me are like wtf?
@@AmusementInsider It definitely is different for sure! It was like those POV drone videos that's out now that are flying alongside coasters. Just having your hand ever so slightly out of the car will give a very different perspective with that 360. Can't wait to see more!
The Ride Analyst thanks. It looks even cooler with inversions. I have a kraken one but am not happy with how a few elements look and want the one-take video, so I’m headed back to try and get it right. Soon!
How do you get those shots? I understand how to get those with a good 360 camera and a selfie stick, but how do you do that on a coaster? There is no way they would allow that. The cops would be waiting at the end or they would stop the ride immediately at one of the block brakes. Unless they had some kind of new rig full of 360 camera and some really good software to make the entire rig disappear, in post.
oppinoy it’s mounted on my wrist and sometimes just takes 3-4 visits to make sure my hand is out of the way once I figure out how I want it edited. You can see the shadow of it on the lift hill, it’s not the most comfortable thing to have my wrist bent all weird the whole ride, and the ride ops always look at me funny when I do them.
I know a lot of people will disagree with me, and I think the cinematography is great but at the end of the day it looks really, really weird for a POV.
# Thrillworks it’s on my wrist, I just reached and the wide angle makes it seem closer than it is👌. Yep allowed, it’s mounted around my hand and wrist. Hope to do some more soon
AmusementInsider That’s so cool they allow it. Does it have to be go pro brand? I thought I heard something about that with an amusement park chain but I can’t member which one
Best coaster in Florida or nah?
Best b&m hyper ever
I'd say yes!
Y.E.S
I think you’re forgetting about Kumba, also a new competitor just was topped of today lol. A solid soon to be #3
For now until Iron Gwazi is open 👍

The coolest POV I’ve ever seen
YEAAAA! After that teaser you posted on IG, I'm happy to see this. That 360 POV is crazy! Love it!

I dont know how you filmed this but it was the best coaster video Ive seen out of thousands !
Do a LOT more of this PLEASE.
That camera work was super cool.
Duuuuude! These dynamic views are bananas!
Best Onride AND offride ever. In the same video. Mind=blown
Kyrpi Coasters thank you!
Best POV ever!!!
Amazing work! Where did you find the music?
It’s the mako ride music
Coaster Labs thanks, it’s on TH-cam
These are some nl2 level shots. Very nice
The Ride Analyst thanks. It looks even cooler with inversions. I have a kraken one but am not happy with how a few elements look and want the one-take video, so I’m headed back to try and get it right. Soon!
This is ART!!!
Was the dynamic POV filmed on a 360° camera? Also I just wanted to say this is truly some of the best off ride footage I’ve seen!
Yes it was filmed on a 360° cam. If you pause at 2:59 you can see where the algorithm cut two seperate cam views together
thanks my guy, but you didnt have to recreate the whole thing in explicit detail in NL2
What an awesome POV. How did you film that?
A go pro max was used
That was a really cool angle you had for that POV on the ride, what did yo use to hold the camera?

Penn & Teller: "You fooled us!"
How was the filmed? 😍

is the footage copyright?
can i use it in a video if I provide credit?
Sure no problem, thanks
May I use this footage for a video? I will give full credit.
yeah
How did you film that? Was it allowed by the park ?as I cringed every time the camera skimmed a support!😂

@@GMoney-B it just needs to be secured around the wrist, I use gopro brand because I dont trust the cheap ones
AmusementInsider awesome, thank you.
Please do this for Iron Gwazi.
oppinoy I hope to! 🤞
