awesome video. im not a young collector. im not a new collector. but i still learned a thing or 2. didnt know about the unmarked grad wings. and about the ns meyer fake tell.
Hey Jerry , talking about SILVER in the war effort , what about the silver bullets that were made for the special Nazi werewolf hunting units ? , I bet that shoulder patch is rare !!!
very interesting this i mostly collect iron crosses but these seem beautiful to collect as a brit how much do these sell if it not rude to ask great video as always
Most wings can be had for $50-100 (USD) like anything else, the rarer ones can bring $200-500-1,000+ But as many bases were in the UK you will find many British wing makers as well- Gaunt, Ludlow, etc.
Don't get me started...a friend of mine had an original war time clutch-back set, he was holding for me. But then another friend talked him out of them as my friend thought I would want the pin-back set he had instead...(which were not used by them during wartime)...sigh....
I enjoyed the video Jerry. I love AAF wings myself.
Never seen the Juarez Flight Surgeon....wow!
