Clarification here. The reason why Jhope become rapper is he is influenced by his former underground dance team. He said he's the only one in the team who didn't rap as the youngest. So he started to rap since then.(He said all this in American Hustle Life Ep. 5 when he was practicing beatbox skills with Jin) By joining bangtan jhope can improve his rapping skills day by day.✌

Watch Squishy Min YoonGi’s videos on each member they are so good. Also believe me ARMYs want you to learn more about BTS because the more you know them the more you love them. BTW I’m a new subscriber just found y’all yesterday. I saw that y’all watched some dance practice videos check out some of their Halloween versions they dress up it’s so funny. I would also suggest watching some of their Japanese videos but they are not good for reacting because you will get copyright strikes. If you check out Bangtan Subs it’s a channel that subtitles the Bangtan Bomb videos that they release. I see that many people suggest to watch the intro guides by Squishy Min Yoongi. Well, please keep in mind that some of the info there is either wrong or biased. Those guides are good for a general idea, but take the info there with a grain of salt, please. Also, keep in mind those labels (although in BTS they usually don't mean much) In kpop you have main > lead > sub In BTS, RM is main and Suga and Jhope are leads. as for the dance line, Jhope and Jimin are main dancers (this info in wrong in the Squishy guides as she says that Jimin only is the main) and Jungkook is a lead dancer. Jhope is also the choreography leader, a title which is not really mentioned in the guides. It means that he learns the choreos before everybody else (he's very fast at doing it too. He learned in 10 minutes a part of choreo that took the others 4 hours!) and then helps the actual choreographer tech the choreo to the others. He also is in charge of checking wether everything is okay choreo wise during shows and concerts. Basically, he's generally in charge of things regarding choreography besides the initial input that comes from their choreographer. As for vocal line, Jungkook is main singer, while the other 3 are lead singers. Perhaps the title of subvocalist may have been a thing in older eras, but in the last years, I don't think there are any sub vocalists in BTS.

I’d suggest watching “An introduction to..” by Squishy Min Yoongi. (All 7 of the members have their own versions of intros.) You’ll get to
know more about BTS and the members individually. But you have to watch them in order, from youngest member to the oldest.
Ex:
1ST video: Jungkook version
2ND: V version.
3RD: Jimin Version
4TH: Rap monster version. (He changed his name to RM btw. The video was made before he changed it.)
5TH: J-Hope Version
6TH: Suga Version

I saw that y’all watched some dance practice videos check out some of their Halloween versions they dress up it’s so funny. I would also suggest watching some of their Japanese videos but they are not good for reacting because you will get copyright strikes. If you check out Bangtan Subs it’s a channel that subtitles the Bangtan Bomb videos that they release. There is also an app called Vlive you can watch episodes of their variety shows and sometimes they do lives and actually chat with us. Kookie has done several English covers you can react to one of my favorites is Lost Stars and he and JiMin did a beautiful cover of We Don’t Talk Anymore. And if you have questions just ask there’s nothing we like better than talking about BTS.

So i suggest you to another channel, Min Yoongi. it really helpfull for beginner to know about BTS. BTS member are really amazing entertainer. Once you know they, it kind find some hidden treasure. They are excelent singer, rapper, dancer, actor, even doing acrobatic move. Lol.

You said in this one that you were worried that if you started knowing/liking BTS, that you would lose your appeal to subscribers... NO. No Way. I really like the way you guys are methodically going about learning more. I've seen so many reactors who sample a few of their more mainstream videos and just move on, without any real curiosity or desire to hear more. A true fan starts by listening to one or two BTS numbers and then becomes slowly obsessed with them... I'm enjoying sharing your descent into the wormhole.... hoping you come out into the other side-- the BTS Universe.

The rappers have different voices and flows, the vocalists have different voices and abilities and the dancers have different styles and strengths, that's why there's no comparison they're all extremely talented individuals.
** Maknae = the youngest in a family/group of friends/groups in general. They call him the Golden Maknae because he's good at everything.

Hyung = older brother. It's an honorific used by guys towards older guys. You'll see it a lot since that's how BTS call each other. Honorific or Name+honorific. You have to use honorifics to speak to an OLDER person otherwise it's extremely disrespectful. It can only be used if the person is your family or close friend since it means "older brother". (Boy - Older Boy)
Oppa = Older brother. Same as the above BUT it's used by girls towards older guys. (Girl - Older Boy)
Noona = older sister. Used by Boys towards older girls. (Boy - Older Girls)
(There's more honorifics but you won't see it often so there's no need to learn them)

There is Main rapper/dancer and Lead rapper/dancer. The main is the main one. Rap Monster is the Main rapper.
I see that many people suggest to watch the intro guides by Squishy Min Yoongi. Well, please keep in mind that some of the info there is either wrong or biased. Those guides are good for a general idea, but take the info there with a grain of salt, please.
Also, keep in mind those labels (although in BTS they usually don't mean much)
In kpop you have main > lead > sub
In BTS, RM is main and Suga and Jhope are leads.
as for the dance line, Jhope and Jimin are main dancers (this info in wrong in the Squishy guides as she says that Jimin only is the main) and Jungkook is a lead dancer. Jhope is also the choreography leader, a title which is not really mentioned in the guides. It means that he learns the choreos before everybody else (he's very fast at doing it too. He learned in 10 minutes a part of choreo that took the others 4 hours!) and then helps the actual choreographer tech the choreo to the others. He also is in charge of checking wether everything is okay choreo wise during shows and concerts. Basically, he's generally in charge of things regarding choreography besides the initial input that comes from their choreographer.
As for vocal line, Jungkook is main singer, while the other 3 are lead singers.
Perhaps the title of subvocalist may have been a thing in older eras, but in the last years, I don't think there are any sub vocalists in BTS.
