Since it avoids recipes you’re holding or have learned. You can now somewhat reliably farm duplicates of important recipes for your friends. Just drop the recipe without learning it, and you can get another. Works best the more of the other recipes you’ve learned.
Probably best to learn all unimportant decoration ones and then just repeatedly exchange fragments for venom weapons, kiln, fast elevators and tablet of power
It's super easy since the change in age of war. Which made it so now you're guaranteed absolutely every single recipe in order. You no longer get duplicates. However Siptah items are only available in Siptah. And very select few are in both. Outside of certain recipes which can still only be learned in select areas and or dungeons.
I have experienced multiples of the same scroll before I finally get all 30 of them. And the grave digger shovel has always been greyed out as if it were broke only to find that its used for digging things up.
It was possible to get duplicates before - which was a bit of a nightmare if you were hunting for specific items, but since a change with Chapter 2 of Age of War, you only get a random recipe you don't have yet when turning in a Fragment. On the Isle of Siptah the Gravedigger serves to dig up things, but the one from the Library is definitely also a weapon.
1:45 not completely true. You don't get duplicates unless you have all previous scrolls in your inventory. If you deposit them in chest and return to library you'll get duplicates
Nice as always :) dont know if its the correct place to post, but after the update and there are more siptha stuff on Exiles land, can you get the Grey ones weapons? i have seen someone drop the bow, but havent grinded to if you can get the others also :P Help? :D
Hopefully we’ll get buried treasures and valuables in chapter lll. I’m tired to the bones of only digging up weapons and armors most of the time in the digging spots. Until then my Gravedigger will be hanging on the wall.
@blabarssmurfen3282... hiho... If you allow me, a little spoiler... take your gravedigger from the wall and search the lower area of the volcano near the snake people... I wish you good loot ✌
I love this idea. As @einBaerTiger mentioned, the mechanic exists already - initially only on Siptah, but now also in the Exiled Lands. However, this isn't related to the Treasure System and it would actually be cool if there would be something like it - finding random maps that explain where a treasure could be burried, one that can be found and placed in the treasure room.
Correct, they changed it. As long as you have learned the scrolls or have them in your inventory, you won't get a duplicate anymore. The only way would be to not learn the scrolls and put them into storage, but I'd say most players wouldn't do that - unless you want to collect duplicates.

There are various recipes that use smaller quantities, but most often it's used to create compost.

The order that you get them would have been helpful.
The order is still random - only that you won't get duplicates anymore of those that you have learned already or have in your inventory.
Im really hoping RNG doesn't give me the tablet at the end of the list.
That's sadly still a possibility - but 30 Fragments are not too hard to get. I wish you luck that it's one of the earlier recipes though! 🍀

You mean the Essence of Rot? That's simply to make Putrid Meat if you need a lot. Use it with Meat in a campfire, bonfire or charcoal kiln.
