I’ve had a service based business for 16 years. When the pandemic hit everything was gone in one moment. I had a lot of down time and instead of dwelling I decided the Pivot and start an online course to pivot from a service business to an online passive business. My service business is back up and going well and the course is going amazing. I’ve always been entrepreneurial unlike the people in my circles, so I’ve kept my pivot to myself until my hard work starts paying off, because I don’t need to hear the negative dialog from people who don’t have the same like minded approach to life and all they are doing is putting their own fears onto me, by telling me that I can’t or shouldn’t pivot.

I am pivoting right now. I have been a child ( mainly in my mind) but now I am becoming a woman. My marriage has brought me to this point. My husband can no longer wait for me to mature abd so I have a choice, stay as a caterpillar in my comfort zone or pivot and become the MORE I know I can be but was too stagnant in my comfort zone to put in the effort to transition into the butterfly I am meant to be. It's hard, lonely sometimes, sometimes I don't want to see Me in the mirror( my limiting beliefs, my insecurities, my weaknesses, my shortcomings) but I choose to face them in order to overcome them. I choose to pivot into my next season. I have to set new goals, implement new strategies. I haven't a clue HOW to do some of these things, but I face and embrace the uncertainty because I can only grow. I choose to pivot!

I don't have a team working with or for me! I am it! Recently within eight months I became a widow and currently living with my son and family. I am a newly published author and trying to do my own book promoting because of my limited funds. But today I made the Pivot! And I say No to the things that standing against me and Yes to my goals. My issue with the planning ahead situation is getting out of comfort zone working for myself to now go and study again. Everytime i get kust to the edge... and just the wiff of the air of it. I pivoted this year by finally self publishing a few. I am scared because the feeling of 'not being good enough' makes me want to stop. Lisa, I have been pivoting since I started going to college back in 2016. I have since quit because I was having trouble figuring out what I was going for. I have now come up with a plan to go back and this time it will be for something I know I want to work hard for. I’m tired of working hard for a job I don’t care about and being stressed and I know it will be difficult for me to execute. I may have a few more pivots but I am embracing the journey

I'm.so loving this topic as it's one of the chapters in a book.im.writing about the pandemic and how a 21 days Lockdown is nearing 600 days... it resonates so strongly with me as I fell down a single step fracturing both my ankles. I had a lockodown that turned into.a.shutdown and from that point came.my.turnaround. I had to pivot in so.many life dimensions. Losing my business, income and mobility. And for.the first-time in my life I had to think about movement, about walking, then walking properly, then changing direction painlessly and without plummeting again. From my reflections during this downtime I found more of me, of the old carefree, divine me. I've turned down work that didn't resonate and recontracted relationships that were rapidly en route to ruin. Pivotal Pauses make for divine breakthroughs. It's never too late Keep safe and strong, stay loved and protected.

Goal from this is to plan further out in time. My plans vary from 30 days to 6 months now. Thanks for the tips Lisa plan out longer periods of time and along the way be flexible and fluid aka open to change if need be.

I'm.so loving this topic as it's one of the chapters in a book.im.writing about the pandemic and how a 21 days Lockdown is nearing 600 days... it resonates so strongly with me as I fell down a single step fracturing both my ankles. I had a lockodown that turned into.a.shutdown and from that point came.my.turnaround. I had to pivot in so.many life dimensions. Losing my business, income and mobility. And for.the first-time in my life I had to think about movement, about walking, then walking properly, then changing direction painlessly and without plummeting again.
From my reflections during this downtime I found more of me, of the old carefree, divine me.
I've turned down work that didn't resonate and recontracted relationships that were rapidly en route to ruin.
Pivotal Pauses make for divine breakthroughs. It's never too late
Keep safe and strong, stay loved and protected.

Great video, Lisa! It's challenging to pivot and keep flowing with it, trusting the end result. But not doing anything or doing the same things that are mediocre won't benefit my life and this world either. I'm getting my next 7 months plan in order.
