Why does Durga Saptashati call Mahishasurmardini as Mahalakshmi? then who is narayana Laxmi or kamala mahavidya

Mahalakshmi or Mahakali they are one. Maha is the exalted state. There all are one. Thus Mahalakshmi killed mahishasura. It was devis manifestation in that form. Different demons have different negatives about them. Mahishasur could be killed only the properties of devi present in Mahalakshmi. Mahasarswati also kills the demons in the later chapters. Mahalakshmi is no one's consort when in that exalted state. She is independent. It's like vishnu and mahavishnu.

read the last 3 rehasyas of durga saptashati. Pradhanik and vaikritikam rahasya explains how it works and it is a little confusing.. First there was Mahalakshmi, she then created mahakali (from her tamo guna) and mahasaraswati (from her sattva guna). Important detail here: these three maha-shaktis have 4 hands only. Then Mahalakshmi asked the other two to create a male+female pair and did so herself. Thus came forth:
From Mahalakshmi: Brahma+Mahalakshmi(lakshmi). Lakshmi became the consort of vishnu. Note that adding Maha as prefix only means that we are worshipping the viraat rupa with 18 hands as opposed to 2 hands of Lakshmi, both are really the same
From MahaSaraswati: Vishnu+Mahakali(Parvati). Parvati/Durga (10 heads, 10 hands, 10 legs) then became the consort of shiva.
From Mahakali: Shiva+Mahasaraswati(saraswati). Saraswati became Brahma's consort.
The shaktis to the left are not referenced anywhere else in saptashati.
To the right side are the 3 shaktis that we actually worship as consorts of our trimurtis. The 3 shaktis here have many hands (read the rahasyas for more detail). They are the ones referred to as the devis of each charitra (they have more than 4 hands) who killed the demons (madhu, kaithabha, mahishasura, shumbh, nishumbh). Fun fact: Start of third charitra, when the devas were pleading shakti to help with shumbh/nishumbh, Durga/Parvati walked there and asked what happened and from her, came Ambika/Mahasaraswati, also called Gauri because she was white in complexion. So Mahasaraswati is the actual devata of this charitra and not Parvati. When gauri separated from Parvati, she became dark in color and was called kali. Kali also comes later when she comes out of Gauri to kill the next set of demons. So everyone comes out of everyone apparently. Why? I don't know, but people say there's a deeper metaphorical meaning to all of saptashati, that's why it's considered to be so powerful.
Saraswati is also said to be created from Brahma's self (in other texts), so sometimes you'll see her be referred to as her daughter and sometimes as a wife. Note that Brahma not being flesh and bone, and in general trimurtis and their consorts being void of any gender, they're more appropriately referred to as deva and their shakti. It's for the sake of human understanding that we give them a gender. So the concept of spouse or child from a human perspective doesn't apply here.
This more detailed understanding reveals why mahakali is said to be the yogmaya of Vishnu (krishna is also said to be an avatar of kali). This is also why Radha (who was the yogmaya of Vishnu) did not become the life-long consort of Krishna (since Vishnu and his yogmaya are one and the same)
In the end, everyone is only an illusion created by mahamaya so we are all the same as mahamaya, including the trimurtis and their consorts
The mahavidyas are a different (tantric) representation of adi-parashakti, in this case, we would equate adi-parashakti to the 4 handed mahalakshmi as the source of everything. Worshipping a Mahavidya is focusing on one aspect of shakti (purely knowledge, or destroying enemies, material gain etc). Think of it as viewing the same thing using a different lens or from a different angle.
