Ahhhhh a great song from The Jungle Book! Must admit I have a difficult time picturing anyone but Baloo singing this. How many out there even know what a paw paw is anyway? We used to pick them here in the eastern US states. Fun song!

Haha! Never thought about it Tarzan and Mowgli both orphans wearing a loin cloth. lol. He's amazing with charisma and I detected a southern accent. I looked him up he's lived between Virginia and Florida. What is it with these bass beasts from the south? Tim Foust from Texas, Geoff from Virginia, and now Avi lives in Tennessee. I know we southerners (I live in California now but born and raised in Kentucky) love and revere our bass singers and that's why groups like The Oak Ridge Boys, Statler Brothers et al.....have made it so big. Plus, in southern gospel you got to have that guy that can go low. As usual, thanks for your genuine reaction. I don't listen the ptx reactions. I liked them when they were new and it was kind of a novel thing but now they kind of irritate me somewhat. I said it and I hope I don't get a lot of hate over not liking ptx but some of their arrangements are all over the place and not so enjoyable to me. But hey, they have millions of fans! What I think doesn't amount to a hill of beans. I'm more of a supporter of the underdog; hence, Home Free. You keep doing what you do I love your reactions.
Geoff, Tim, Avi should do a trio together. They all have deep, deep ranges and all do subharmonics and growls. But they can also sing tenor and have great falsetto ranges too. C’mon you three - let’s see a collab. Lol

Perhaps he doesn't regard himself as a true bass is because he also has the high tenor range which perhaps a true bass couldn't do. Or maybe because a true bass has a lot stronger voice down there and we know that Geoff sometimes has to lean into the mic when going deep.. And then again maybe it's the timbre of his voice which is always so smooth, warm and comforting. Frankly i don't care what he calls himself. He's just great to listen to. And watch.
