Hey Mark & Jolie - Greetings from, Vadodara India!! Have been following your V’logs for some time now. The coverage, edits and music are top notch. The experiences are very well documented and humane at the same time. As a recent enthusiast of civilisational history, I find your content extremely enriching. Cant thank you enough!! Stay well...
Hey Sameer, Thanks for the message, glad you're enjoying the content and editing. This incredible region has definitely experienced it's share of civilisations! Cheers
What spectacular scenery along that track , and I enjoyed your camp spot it was a awesome one . Would love to just chill there for a few days Barbecuing and enjoying the views . It’s so beautiful in that area with all the spectacular scenery . Cheers and thanks for bring us all along for the journey . From Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A.
Thanks Steve! We love the Troopy gives us the ability to get to spots like this, nothing but us and nature. The north of Tajikistan proved to be as incredible as the rest! Cheers
Thanks Rob. The waterfall was incredible, something we weren't quite expecting though happy to say it met the 'impressive waterfall' criteria haha. Cheers
Great video. I've really been enjoying this latest series of videos. The scenery is just so spectacular! I can't get over those mountains and the color of the water! I spent a few weeks in the Himalayas in India a few years ago, but that was in February in a low snow year. Everything was just drab in color, the rocks, vegetation, etc, and the water was frozen solid. Seeing these videos not only makes me want to visit these places but makes me wonder what it would have been like if I'd gone a different time of year. Thanks for sharing, as always. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and new year. Cheers from Maine, USA. :) Paula
Thanks Paula! Good to hear you're enjoying them. Yes, we were very fortunate with our timing of our visit to Central Asia, as well as the Himalayas in Nepal! The trade off with it potentially being slightly cooler is definitely balanced by the lush greenery! (That and there's less tourists). It's all about perspective though, at least if you go back you'll appreciate it even more!! Cheers
Just found you guys! Great video, look forward to catching up on the rest. We backpacked through similar areas of Central Asia a couple of years ago, it's so nice to see familiar spots again, and some new places. Cheers! Kim
Hey Wolfram, You're right, beautiful and incredible. We ended up spending about a month there and that was still nowhere near long enough! Hopefully next time you get to spend longer too. Cheers
Wow super nice. The landscapes and especially colour of the water is ... amazing. Also if you don't mind me asking: what do you use to map your route and show it like that in the video ? It looks really good.
Nope, not Google. Google requires branding/logos to be used when their maps are used in videos. We use a world mapping plugin we bought and edit in After Effects.
Bit more tar. Too easy. The omnipresent rock just mellows with greenery. Great campsite at the lake. What geological mayhem caused such rugged captivating landscapes so long ago.
The sealed road conditions to the north of Dushanbe (apart from 'the tunnel'), were near perfect. Smooth sailing! The topography of the Fann Mountains is incredible; captivating is a great word for it!

Nope, not Google. Google requires branding/logos to be used when their maps are used in videos. We use a world mapping plugin we bought and edit in After Effects.

😍😍😍😍😍
she said " Bagus "? wow
Must be nice being on the road all the time, leaving behind all social drama and political life behind....to be this free.... we can only dream
It was nice, the internet can be a pretty bleak place to be involved with sometimes so going to places like this gives some balance and perspective.
Except they got thrown into an Iranian jail for months after this.
