FAITH is following God’s leading without knowing WHERE.
FAITH is waiting on God’s timing without knowing WHEN.
FAITH is expecting a miracle without knowing HOW.
FAITH is trusting God’s purpose without knowing WHY.
FAITH is continuing to persist without knowing HOW LONG.
I believe God's testing me now I've been paralyzed from a stroke in 2017 still paralyzed but I've hunkered more and thirst more for God's word like never before amen tyj for choosing me before I knew you lord

No, because I have been waiting and getting pruned a long time . My dream still sits on GOD'S back burner as He grows me up. My dream doesn't save my soul.

In Matthew 5 6 7.. Jesus Said.."Obey My Sayings and Seek Me and My Righteousness EveryDay..and I will Give you Everything you Need..and I will Deliver you from evil.". This is Jesus Gospel and this is Jesus Promise. If you Let Jesus Teach you and Do as He Said..your Faith in Him Will Be Tested.
5 years of chronic illness, housebound, lost my job, fiancé, and savings.
BUT I have well and truly now seen the mercy and kindness of God I have all of this. And the inner joy and peace and intimacy with Him is better than all that I "lost" 😊🙏
And now I can't help but share the message 😁😁
I am experiencing all the tests right now. I can't stop weeping while watching the preaching. Thank you for reminding me that now is the best timing to put his words into the practice and grow in spiritually. Praised the Lord 🙌
Me too, all 6 in less than a year but see I barely knew God prior to last September. The things that have happened to me are almost unexplainable. How is my life in the Bible? How does someone like me read & understand the Bible, talk to God & experience this? My friends & family think I’m crazy. My psychiatrist thinks I’m nuts and I don’t blame her. have u always been a Christian? How ru handling this?

I believe that God knows our hearts and he wants to give what he promise but it’s going to be very challenging, a lot of faith and trusting God word, he will not give us something that we are not ready for because he knows exactly what he’s doing, It’s going to take pain and character development but that’s what our faith is going to be exposed if our heart is in the promise or is in God, God won’t gives us a idol until we learn how to love first God before anything then anybody.
Can't get enough of Rick Warren's sermons, Does such a great job conveying the message of God. Yesterday, I encountered a small test of faith at work and because i had just listened to this message. I was able to chill out and trust in God.

The word for they that wait upon the Lord in Isiah 40:31 is the word join together fellowship Hebrew word qavah is here like a rope intertwined it becomes strong you and the Lord intertwined and you will run and not be weary you will mount up with wings as eagles. God will renew your youth like Caleb. Praise God Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. HALLELUJAH!

When you feel that God is asking you to do something it's usually something you don't really want to do but you do it anyway and you let God handle all the consequences and have faith that he will do just that.
Thank you for speaking the words God gave you to speak. I am blessed and enlightened by the words you share. God's will be done always and in all things.
I think when you go through the grief cycle, it is difficult to experience god's presence. Perhaps, after passage of the depression phase, one can feel less sorrow, and experience the presence of the lord.

Great teaching I really love your teaching. I started listening to you when I was out on 4 months hip surgeries/ in 2017and have been watching you ever since. God uses you in my life and I refer people to listen to you. I work Sundays but this is a way to have Sunday every day of the week, thanks pastor rick. what's amazing is my company has us donate to a charity each year some of it for different non God focused charities so I always didn't look forward to it. This past year I looked for saddleback and there you were. I was so pleased to find a way to give to saddleback instead of just any charity, thankyou for listening to God.

Unsolvable problem (without knowing how. It seems impossible)

Senseless loss (seems totally irrational but you need to trust)
6th Test
Prolonged pain (the how long test: will you be faithful despite great pain)
