This is such a great rendition of the song. Really takes me back to Yan Jun's performance of the same piece in 2017. Both versions are lovely and I think it's both a credit to the song itself being so beautiful and also both artists bringing an individuality, sensitivity, and artfulness to their interpretations. Wang OK's voice is so wonderful and husky in the low range and clear and resonant in the high range-- the high note at 2:42 just strikes right through to your heart. Very proud to be this lady's 老乡!

Everything about her is compelling, the rich tone and range of her voice, a face that is naturally beautiful and creates a sense of intrigue, and a stage performance that holds the audience in a state of awe and anticipation.
