Your comments at the beginning are interesting. I'm sure there are some people who just want to watch you win, but I just like a good competition. I'd rather watch you lose a close one in 10 minutes than watch you crush someone who never stood a chance. Humans inherently like competition. That's why your cannon rushes are so fun. You showed in the last video, a 5100k MMR player is capable of beating you if they defend in just the right way. So no game is ever a guaranteed win.
I much rather enjoy the close games as well. Ultimately I'd like to win those too haha
Greetings from Australia, this is my first time interacting with the community and i wanted to start by thanking you for all your hard work to build this channel, keep in it entertaining while growing your skills as a professional gamer, much love and respect keep it up!
Now i want to thank thank you even more, for taking up this challenge in the first place, to prove(or not ^^) that cannon rush is VIABLE to a high level of play!
This comes from a +/- 3k3 d3/2 on na cannon rushing 100 % games for the past 3 years id say. But my control of the game is terrible , hence stuck in diamond for years but still having having lots of fun torturing those who underestimate our Art, and try and beat who don't hahaha, that is part of the journey to keep getting better, and this series is definitely very inspiring to do so!
Talking of inspiring, I had an idea at episode 90 for the episode 100, why not invite the only true expert on the question, i mean of course, the one and only Lord Printf himself ??? !!!
I realize this a very tight time frame but just putting the idea out there and hopefully the Lord can bless us all with his wisdom ^^

Mister MaNa, what do you think of The Florencio Cannon Rush? I mean the one when you hide your forge on the low ground where the 3rd base is usually located (in a triangual setup)

Been playing on the ladder, lots of protosses are trying to emulate your builds with limited success. Im getting in lots of practice holding them... Its harder than it looks

It's a popular cheese, can work, but rather easy to defend if you know what you're doing.
Great series Vs Erik, and I loved the last game as well. I thought you were beat, I was surprised as you when he GG'd out.

Oh, the last game... I thought you were super dead, but luckily he brought Drones through the Nydus for some reason
They were useful at tanking immortal shots or potentially getting a surround on it. The nydus was giga all in.

Hi Mana, can you also do some random ally 2v2 or 4v4s? Team games are also pretty entertaining...or doing certain unit comps in 2v2s and 4v4s...It would add more variety to your cannon rush only content lately.
I could definitely try to make one video like that, but it's not something I am very passionate about.

you seem to slightly be floating extra gas that you dont need. The build can perhaps be slightly refined to collect slightly less gas, and with the extra money you can build pylons/batteries slightly faster, perhaps? Is a very good build, but I just think there can be some slight improvement, I think.
I haven't perfected it yet. It all depends on what the zerg is doing, but there can be some improvements. However having excess gas does not mean I can get more minerals, I mostly do have max amount of mineral income anyway.
@@manaesports If you build 1 less probe to mine gas, that's an extra 50 minerals instead. Could be worth it to maybe build an extra battery, when without it you can only afford 1 at that time?

Aye mana. Pls do not stop with the cannons. Sc2 is old as fuck now. We sometimes get bored with the grinding... so we cannon rush for fun. Its the same way when watching others play. ✊🏾
That's right, I do want to have fun while playing myself and Cannon Rushes really do bring a lot of fun for me.

This is so strange here: th-cam.com/video/p49slocxrtI/w-d-xo.html - I needed to check it deeply. Distance between hatchery and cannon that has range to it, is exact 7 tiles, the other one is diagonal of 4x4 tiles squere, so it is sqrt(32) which is around 5.66. If we count distance from the middle of the cannon to the middle of the hatchery - for shooting one it is diagonal of 10.5x0.5 which is around 10.51. For 2nd cannon its diagonal of 7.5x7.5 which about 10.607. Seems that the range is calculated from middle of the shooter to middle of the target and real cannon range is between 10.52 and 10.59. But is it same for the units? I don't think stalkers or something need to have middle of the building in range to be able shooting at it. Ok, I think I found it: buildings are not squeres but circles. Then first cannon is about 7.01 tiles far and 2nd one is 7.107 (just substracted sum of cannon and hatchery radius which is 3.5 from both calculations of middle-middle distances). This looks correct and the game engine seems to be rounding distance to just 1 decimal place, as cannon has 7 range, everything is fine then.

Hey bro. All i play is toss. Can i make a request for you to do a cannon rush and somehow make DTs ? I have a build i do vs terran where i take a proxy base first, then i go block his base with a pylon and forge. then i put 3 cannons in my base for defense to kill his incoming reaper thats scouting. then i just make 4 dts and rush him as soon as there ready. but i would like to see you do something with DTs maybe with a cannon rush to DT or also some other DT build you do. thanks !
That does sound like something that could work in... way below Grandmaster haha. I can try making a DT follow up once!
Opponent could have broken this wide open by just taking the 2nd expansion instead of the natural (assuming their micro was good enough to defend it).
