If this is really them, because it’s obviously lip-synched, it makes you wonder why they didn’t just sing their own vocals as Milli Vanilli. “Girl you know it’s true” is not particularly demanding, in terms of vocal range.

The contract was in German and Fab didn’t even really know the language at the time. The producer essentially had control over what he was using them for musically.
