I dont know why some people feel the need to be hurtful and make spiteful comments it is so uncalled for. Everyone can see how much you care about horse welfare and trying to do your best to give them a good life. Well done to you and Tilly. I'm loving the vlogsxxx
I could imagine it's really hard to have multiple horses that are injured but I think they are in such good care and treatment at your stable. Thank you for investigating and doing everything you can to help them. Congratulations on the competition! =) Your blanket looked so well on Tilly!
Love your vlogs & I love how caring you are for your beautiful horses. I'm glad you're aware that person's negativity is his/her own problem & not yours. You are more than kind & gracious to extend the offer to listen, which is the truth to who your are. It takes courage to share your life with others. Cheers to you!!!
I was the one with the glove comment -I loved them ! You made my day with the shout out. Frankly I think you are more likely to get to heaven with the "holy" ones even tho' your place in heaven is assured you lovely Horse Person. I never imagined it was the horses that chewed them up ! I thought Ralphie was the culprit. Nice job on Tilley. You are too hard on yourself. A horse that launches himself joyfully into the rafters w/every jump is hard enough to sit but you made it look easy. Well done you Miri. And that unicorn-ass ? Your fans will set up a protective comment cordon. So thrilled that Olivia Towers and Miri found one another. I suspected it was your methodology I saw her use with such success on " Sausage Wilf". Am I right ? Love from bloody cold Canada😘
Just to say that the reason you are having such ‘bad luck’ with you horses is because you are listening to them. Unfortunately I have a similar problem that, the horses show me their ‘issues’ and I have been scrutinised for it, saying I have caused them. Not the case, I am just listening, like you are. Having Horses is damned hard work. I hope everyone is ok and on the mend 😊
Well done on your placing Miri! You both did so well. I still can't get over how high Tilly's back end goes over a jump, no wonder you felt like you were going up to the rafters!!😂 He really is a fantastic jumper and can't wait to follow you to more shows with him, thank you so much for taking us along hun. As for the viewers who seem hell bent on being so mean and nasty, I personally think it stems from jealousy and they only wish they had your life. We as people can never seem to find those well known needles in a haystack, but if there is a nail or something else to hurt themselves on, or somehow cause an injury, even in a huge field a horse will always seem to find it!! It certainly isn't your fault thats for sure! It would seem the unicorn hasn't been taught the age old saying, "If you have nothing nice to say, then don't say anything at all!!" You care deeply for your horses and do everything possible to fix them, that is so obvious to us normal viewers hun. So just ignore the ignorant ones Miri, they aren't even worth your time, let alone get upset over, because at the end of the day, you know the truth. Take care and look forward to your next vlog hun 😘
I'm with you in the injuries. Haha Two weeks after I moved him to our new farm Lemme tore his Adductor muscle. 😬😔 Vet is coming tomorrow to rescan after 3 months stall rest. 🤞 he will be healed. My friends horses, that lives at my farm came up lame 3 weeks ago has been seen by 2 vets still not exactly sure what's wrong with him. And last Friday my 21 year old Morgan came in with a slight bowed tendon. I have 1 horse that isn't lame, haha my new guy. Hopefully, he will stay sound 🤣 Such a joy. Always great to see you on TH-cam. 😁
Well done with Tilly Miri!! It’s so sad that people have to bring their negativity into this space. Broken down nags? How about regular horses! Unfortunately injuries happen all the time. You’re just real enough to show them! ❤️
You're doing so great with all the sh** happening to your horses health! So frustrating when several horses are injured. I really hope next year will be much better, i wish you all the good luck and a stable full of healthy horses!
I really admire how honest you are, and share the less perfect rounds! It also so interesting to hear your self criticism (as to someone who is a bit clueless about jumping, it looked pretty good!!)
So sorry to hear you are having to deal with injuries. It really is so depressing and requires such a lot of patience ☹️ hope you are doing OK and the horses too. Feeling for you. X
Thanks for sharing Miri!! I'm not a jumper (a wannabe dressage rider) I really appreciated your voiceover on your round! I've always been very impressed with people seeing strides up to fences and all that. It certainly isn't as easy as just going over 😂
While I totally understand that you're way too busy to always do TH-cam it is so lovely to have you back! You're videos are great xx Also, how nice of you to offer that hateful commenter your support?! You truly are a special human being :)
SO HAPPY to see you out and about! I'm sorry to hear about Obi and Indy. Know you're not going at it alone. I'm going through the same with both of my mares. one just came in dead lame from the field and i'm trying to pin point the other mare's reason to why she is still ever so slightly lame after a key hole surgery to remove a floating broken splint bone. x-rays and sonogram done today! So hopefully we will find some answer and have a rout to go down. Best of luck for you Miri!
From your Instagram I expected a much worse round; I think us equestrians are always overly critical on ourselves! There were a few sticky moments sure but for a first show as a partnership I think you did really well. I actually think you really suit Tilly! I hope you have a a better run of luck soon, you clearly put so much time and energy into giving your horses the best life it really is unfair. X
Oh Miri! Love how you love your horses and give them all the best care! And success!! No nerves before jumping!!! That’s something to celebrate (along with yummy chips and pizza!). 😁. Keep the updates coming! 🥰🥰🥰
So great to see you out competing again. Ignore the hurtful comments. You clearly adore your horses and take fantastic care of them. Thanks so much for doing the vlogs. I love watching them and learn so much. Well done you and Tilly x
Love your videos, love how you care and look after and train your horses 💗 well done for addressing this person who has been posting negative stuff,, theres always 1 or 2, jealous or just sad... you just keep doing what you do, your horses are athletes (not field ornaments) and athletes get injuries,, such is life xx
Tilly is so cool! Do try not to be too hard on yourself - I know when you're putting yourself out there so publicly (and getting unwarranted criticism from all corners) it's a natural response to kick yourself first before anyone else comes in and starts doing it for you, but I also don't think it does our mindset any good as riders to come out of the ring going "that was crap!" when it wasn't 100% perfect. Acknowledge the fact that you obviously gave him a good enough ride to allow him to easily jump clear, and where you did have an ugly fence or two, take confidence from the fact that you know what went wrong, and you wouldn't do it again if given the opportunity for a re-ride. I tell my students to come out of the ring and tell me what was the best part, not what was the worst part! It's such an important part of mental training, imo. When they've had a bad fence, I get them to think about the way they would've ridden the fence in retrospect and to visualise doing it that way and clearing it well, then store *that* footage into their memory bank, and put the rest in a bubble and blow it away. And how lucky are we these days to have such ready access to video footage of ourselves so we can look back and see where improvements could be made, as often the adrenalin of the moment doesn't allow us that amount of self-reflection. Be kind to yourself, be your own biggest supporter, so you can look back on the video and feel proud of how well you rode so much of that course, especially given you're out of practice!
You are an inspiration how you handle all the injuries. Those of us who have gone through it or are going through it can sympathize and we are all astounded by unicorn 96's comment - absolutely appalling. Just know that you have support out here.
Love watching your videos the jumping was amazing, dam that horse is honest, thanks for sharing good and bad bits that's how we all learn. Your a lovely soft rider. As for bad comments, key board cowards, bugger them you keep the great content coming love from NZ
I’m happy to see you back out competing again! You were so gracious to unicorn96, I might have had some obscenities to spew🤭But you took the high road ☺️🤗 well done. I know you are doing your best for all horses in your care and my fingers are crossed that full health returns to Obi and Indie. Sending good vibes across the Atlantic 😊
Sorry to hear about Obi and Indy's injuries, hope they both come right soon. Fingers crossed 2022 is a better year for you and your lovely horses. Obi, is my favourite!!
sending you all the love for you and your 4 leggeds! well done for how you are dealing with the hate on from a certain person who has certainly misnamed themselves! I don't know if you've explored this with your vet yet (and this is coming fr someone who works on people not horses so keep that in mind) when it comes to ligament and tendon injuries, especially recurrent or chronic issues I always look at what is attached to the tendon/ligament and treat that as well as the site of inflammation and injury. Eg. Tennis elbow is pain and inflammation of the tendon that attaches to the lateral epicondyle (top bony bit of the elbow) however the reason that tendon gets inflamed is from tension and overuse of the muscles in the forearm that are attached to that tendon. If you don't address those muscles, the tendon remains under higher tension/stress and the result is poor or slow healing and easier re-injury. Also I look at the opposing group because oftentimes the problem is from an imbalance between the antagonist muscle groups. I hope that is helpful in some way and good luck and keep doing these youtube videos! I love watching you and only make it to instagram sporadically.
Wow Miri, I thought that was so emotional - how big of you to offer support to someone that negative. Well done on Tilly, somehow it's nice to see when things aren't just easy and smooth for everyone else, it makes it more okay when you're not there yourself either if that ramble makes sense.. Go you
Amazing how you handled that hate comment, Miriam 🥰 responding with love, but also addressing the fact that it’s not okay and hurtful for those receiving it.
I am sure glad to see you back on TH-cam! When you were gone I was worried that you weren't posting here anymore!!! I don't get how anyone could spew hate at you and your abilities with horses, as you are the most open of anyone. Best of luck with your issues and I hope all things go well for you. Super job with Tilly!
you are a wonderful woman with beautiful horses and thank you for taking the time to share your story with us. congratulations on your placement with tilly and best wishes in regards to all else! ❤🍷🦄
Stay strong and true to yourself Miri - loved the vlog and congrats on your place - I have a horse with the same type injury as Obi it's so frustrating 👍
Congrats on your placing! I am sooo sorry to hear about indie and obe. When I have days and weeks such as yours I always say my next horse will be a goldfish. And what would you know I bought another horse, looking forward to more of your videos to help me with my two equine partners on TH-cam and Patreon
I grew up with the saying "Horses fight for the first 11 months to live (gestation) and the next 20-25 trying to kill themselves." We all know your horses are given the best of care and you'll soon have everything right. Have a great day!
I am so sorry that your lovely horses are not all feeling their best but with all your compassion I am sure you will get to the bottom of the problems. I am more concerned how your fiancé will react when he realises he is not getting his horse back!😂 You look like a lovely partnership in the making...
Love your vids! so informative and since watching you're videos learnt a lot about how I can listen to my horse in a different way. Just a thought (probably one you've already come across) my friend recently ran into lameness problems with her 3 year old youngster (could not understand why, when or where this would of occurred) ended up dropping him off to the vets for all sorts of tests. Came back as bone spavins! Vet said he has had over 30 cases of this within just the last few months all found in youngsters due to confirmation! Ignore the hate, keep being you! :) x
Your videos are great, I love watching you, they bring back memories from many many mmmmmmmmany yrs ago when I had my lovely ponies. And as for rude comments.....take no notice that are just not worth worrying about .
Sorry you had a troll on here Miri also sad the horses are injured let’s hope they heal quickly and well done getting 3rd place on tilly keep smiling and stay strong.tfs😎🏇😎
I was listening to you explain about Obe's update. Do they have a acupuncture person there? My daughter just got her license and she does do some on her dog which seems to help the tightness.
If you touch a barefooted horse and a shod one, the barefooted feet will always be warmer, this due to the blood flow. So, why not consider going barefoot with OB, it might help. And for that Unicorn, be sure that only a fruitful tree gets thrown with stones.
Get you Miri, 3rd place. I bet you were so pleased even though i know you were picking apart your riding/jumping round. I'm really sorry to yo hear about Obe and Indie. Life has definitely thrown you more than your fair share of curve balls around your horses even though they are thoughtfully and beautifully cared for. There is always something new to learn when looking after horses just like your mew feed so maybe this has been the reason behaind the injuries. To be honest would you have been jumping Tilly if Zora and Obe had been sound? Food for there don't you think. 👍💚👏💜
No worries we wish we could do as fine on a show ride. but you are right the more you Practice the better you get. Tally ho. By the way I was hoping you did a Christmas video with Tilly's owner George. 😻
Ignore stupid people, horse injuries are like buses, they suddenly all arrive and as someone with a 25 yr old who has been intermittently lame for the last three years, patience, love and time for the horse is essential, as is support for owners, we all need help at times. Congrats on third place.
Wow they're really out to harass you. Some people need to grow up. Endless comments on one video alone. Pathetic. You're great and have a great business, shit happens, horses get injured any true horse person knows that. Hope it all looks brighter soon
I don't understand why people watch videos just to make nasty comments. They must have such sad lives, or maybe they are just plain nasty. You do not have broken down nags, you have beautiful horses and as they are living animals they get injuries and things happen, but that is just life. People get sick and injured so why think animals are different. If animals were fit and well all the time there would be no need for vets. Please ignore the haters because as Taylor Swift said haters gonna hate regardless.
I have an 18 year old mare that may need her hocks injected. She most likely won't be sound again for anything more than light hacking and I'm bummed. She deserves a nice retirement but I just don't want her in pain.
In the 1st place your horses are not broken down nags. They are beautiful creatures that God has made with some problems which you generously share. I am learning something new everytime. I will say that this unicorn person is jealous. Also I haven't heard you blame anyone. What A Spoiled Sport with no class
I dont know why some people feel the need to be hurtful and make spiteful comments it is so uncalled for. Everyone can see how much you care about horse welfare and trying to do your best to give them a good life. Well done to you and Tilly. I'm loving the vlogsxxx

Love your generosity of spirit Miri. Animals are no different to humans, we all have to deal with illness and injury at some point (-: Marion

What are calming cookies you use?? 💕
Your videos are great, I love watching you, they bring back memories from many many mmmmmmmmany yrs ago when I had my lovely ponies. And as for rude comments.....take no notice that are just not worth worrying about .
im in love with tilly. His jump is amazing
Third! Well done, Miri! Always look forward to your videos.
Sorry you had a troll on here Miri also sad the horses are injured let’s hope they heal quickly and well done getting 3rd place on tilly keep smiling and stay strong.tfs😎🏇😎
I'm sorry Unicorn_69 was so awful. You handled it with more tact and compassion than I have. Thank you for being one of the good ones. 👍 🙂
The calming cookies I tried my horse WOULD NOT eat them….what do you use there?
Fabulous xx
Wow, your horses live at our old house.
Love your vids
where did you get his saddle pad from ?
It’s an Equitex saddle pad
What breed is he ?
Imo an KWPN or Royal Dutch Warmblood Sporthorse?
could u post the link to the calming cookies please🤗😄

nice
I have an 18 year old mare that may need her hocks injected. She most likely won't be sound again for anything more than light hacking and I'm bummed. She deserves a nice retirement but I just don't want her in pain.
Ignore unicorn96 they sound like a rubbish person . I have my fingers and toes crossed for Obi and Inde
Sounds like Unicorn96 needs a new owner. And a vet check!
In the 1st place your horses are not broken down nags. They are beautiful creatures that God has made with some problems which you generously share. I am learning something new everytime. I will say that this unicorn person is jealous. Also I haven't heard you blame anyone. What A Spoiled Sport with no class
