It's not a bug, special defense/damage reduction (the spherical buff) can't be negated in any way. Skills/NPs that ignore defense only ignore regular defense ups.

This fight was interesting, reminds a bit of Tomoe Gozen from Shimousa with the forced support Musashi, though this one is a bit of a heachade from the looks of it X.X
I did a budget setup with my grailed Paris and it worked very well, I don't do *full* budget team very often, but man, that was very fun. Also, I brought the Kintoki story support 'cause lol (he gives guts to the whole team[1 time, 3 turns] so he's actually a pretty good pick). Anyway, great video as always! I love your streams too! (the VODs at least, I can't catch ur streams because time zone 😔)

I swear Shimousa has some of the best themes. The battle themes, Emiya, and the Grand Battle are all amazing. I wonder what instruments they are using though. I can hear a flute, but I can't tell the other ones
All things considered, this run really didn't have it way with RNG. However, it's funny to think that the RNG could have been MUCH worse. Good job DW, you have created an RNG-fes
Medea keeps summoning the warrior, which reduces attack and charge with every hit, and Tsuna gets more charge every turn on bar 2. That's essentially it. Nothing too big and if you kill Medea first most of the buffs she can give him will just not be applied.
There's also the annoying damage cut (which can tank even high damage NPs) that artificially makes the fight far more tedious. It would either come after his NP or he procs it every now and then. I ended mine at 54 turns, when it should've been at 39-40. I was already using a support Tomoe (to oneshot his break bars) and stacking burns with my Summer Jalter.
Everyone has a support list though... and can summon Archers way stronger than Billy. Like are you kidding me? everything else on the team is so low impact. this kinda of setup is easily mimickable by anyone. Did you even watch the video? Switch Alex for Euryale and you don't even need Billy. Can just use 70 Robin or whatever.

That's just with a thing with the difficulty. What if someone doesn't have a strong archer and refuses to use the low stars for whatever reason? Most people are bad or casual and don't want to use low Rarity that's just a fact, or too lazy to grind/balancing too many mobile games so they don't want to put in the investment. So the result is fights like these AREN'T F2P friendly, when even I tried double gilgamesh and still I can't clear this fight Jesus they are right, this game is so hard for hard sake now, it's frankly bullshit. What happened to my simple waifu collector game. Not everyone has the patience for playing properly. I wonder if this is why they gave us all those blue cubes, cos they know they have to cater to filthy casuals

Normally Ricky would have done far better than he did. he just had horrid RNG with where his art cards ended up. This team isn't even remotely optimized AND IT STILL WON. Replace Alex with almost any Archer and the team has massive wiggle room. This fight isnt even remorely hard for F2P. LB5 was much harder. Also why the hell would you use GIlgamesh for this? The enemy isn't a Servant so he doesn't take bonus damage from Ea. This fight is SOOOO far into the game you should have some decent Archers. And if you don't, go level some and come back. Lostbelt 5 was a YEAR ago and we still haven't had a single event be Lostbelt 5 locked. There's no rush. These fights are F2P friendly. They aren't idiot friendly
