If jotaro was fated to use time stop in the duration of king crimsons ability, then no matter if it works or not diavolo is still untouchable in the erased time. But if jotaro already used time stop right before, then king crimson wouldn't activate his ability because diavolo isn't conscious to do it.
I'm pretty sure Diavolo can erase Jotaro's time stop, correct? Since time is basically being stopped, it should extend Diavolo's time skip if they stopped and erased time at the same time. But Jotaro vs Diavolo has always been a weird yet fascinating battle due to both having time manipulating powers. But what about if Jotaro had back up, like Kakyoin or the Speedwagon Foundation?

I assumed that he wouldn't be in my comment, but it's still possible he would be since other time stop users are. However, seeing as pucci wasn't conscious during jotaro's time stop while he had made in heaven, I think that shows us that only other time stoppers are immune
If Jotaro gets stuck fighting Diavolo in Italy when Polnareff normally does, Time Stop vs Time Skip would actually be an interesting confrontation. How the heck would those powers interact?
I'm pretty sure if we put Jotaro in Polnareff's place against Diavolo, I think he'd lose but do better. And if Diavolo did defeat Jotaro, this would mean that Jotaro would have to replace Polnareff in Italy while Kakyoin would have to replace Jotaro in Morioh. But assuming Jotaro did defeat Diavolo in there fight, then I assume Passione turns into a Speedwagon Foundation base, and maybe they can help Giorno and the rest of Team Bucciarati out, and maybe even help out La Squadra?

Its probably like they can't touch each other. If jotaro stop time first, diavolo would probably see that jotaro teleported near him and deal a fatal blow. Of course he would erase time to avoid it. Jotaro is now confused of when did he stopped time. Diavolo might be able to land a hit on jotaro through fate tho.

just make it so that for part 3 kakyoin survived the donut injury by some miracle and tricks Dio into thinking he died and then when polnareff surprise attacked Dio he died and got killed by him however, that would be basic, and I appreciate you actually trying to be unique with this
BTW, I'm pretty sure there was no way Kakyoin could survive the donut from Dio IMO, unless they have Stroheim's German science from the war and use it to somehow patch his wound up. That or give him a fake spine until Giorno can turn his spine back to normal.

I mean, if Polnareff could lose both legs, an arm, get thrown off a cliff, with water all around him, while also not bleeding out, (plus not even factoring 5 characters that are literally brought back to life) I'm pretty sure maybe it's possible Kakyoin can be alive despite getting donut by Dio. Personally, I'd have Polnareff and Kakyoin switch roles in the fight to justify why Kakyoin is alive instead.
I don't really see diavolo killing jotaro mostly because star platinum is much stronger and faster than king crimson plus unlike many part 5 characters. Jotaro is very durable almost super human. So i could see Jotaro defeating Diavolo but he would probably be damage not severely but enough to probably put him out of action for a bit.
Probably against kakyoin but both Jotaro and kakyoin has experience with time based stands (The world which is superior) the only way I see Diavolo winning if he had knowledge of Jotaro and planned ahead but even then Jotaro could time stop his way out. But Diavolo is a psychotic guy who's barely human so I could see him having a chance.

I could see kakyoin going mostly because I want to talk about kakyoin vs Diavolo. Let's say like polnareff he runs into the pink haired bastard how will the fight go? Well to make things fair kakyoin will have a much easier time thanks to his intelligence and range. Like DIO he will find out the secret of king crimson but the 12 meter radius will come in clutch and to say the least kakyoin only has to be close to the area Diavolo is and due to hierophant green being able to take itself apart this will allow him to Dodge king crimson's strikes and I know what you're wandering can't time skip nullify that well not really because Diavolo can't really touch kakyoin during it but can set himself up for a one shot kill but he won't be able to oneshot hierophant green due to it being able to take hits from star platinum and The world. The funny thing here is King crimson most likely won't be able to deflect the emerald splash he may have a in power but he isn't comparable to star platinum and he has a E in durability so the moment kakyoin lands a successful blow he will tear the Mafia boss to shreds. Will it be easy? HECK NO!!! Diavolo is a smart bastard and knows his ability very well but do I see a more experienced and smarter kakyoin being able to pull it off? 8 times out of 10 yes. So no turtle. This will affect part 5 heavily and we might not see Trish in this part plus we might have La Squadra as the main antagonist. Part 6 might change as well if they have the requiem arrow in hand. Which can lead to three possible transformations between stone free,star platinum,or hierophant green.
