For all loss mitigation reviews, whether a borrower is applying to stay in the home or leave the home - banks require a "complete package" in order to issue a decision. This sounds easy but lenders make it complicated. Many borrowers struggle to get their files deemed complete and moved to Phase 2 of the review process. I hear many borrowers saying they are "stuck in the document review phase and they can't get out."
The purpose of this video is to help borrowers understand some of the traps that make this process hard and what they can do to help their files get quickly and easily deemed complete.
