      Matthew 26:49-50 :
49 Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, "Greetings, Rabbi!" and kissed him. 50 Jesus replied, "Do what you came for, friend." Then the men stepped forward, seized Jesus and arrested him.
In these verses, Judas Iscariot arrives with a group of men to betray Jesus with a kiss. Judas identifies Jesus with the kiss, and Jesus responds by acknowledging Judas and surrendering to the men who have come to arrest Him. This event leads to the subsequent verses where Jesus talks about His ability to call upon angels.
      Matthew 26:51-52 :
51 Suddenly, one of those with Jesus put his hand on his sword, drew it, and struck the slave of the high priest, cutting off his ear. 52 Then Jesus said to him, "Put your sword back into its place; for all who take the sword will perish by the sword."
These verses describe the moment when one of Jesus' disciples (traditionally identified as Peter) attempted to defend Jesus by using his sword and ended up cutting off the ear of the high priest's servant. Jesus responded by instructing the disciple to put away his sword and emphasizing the consequences of using violence in this situation.
      Matthew 26:53-54 :
"Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?"
In this passage, Jesus is indicating that He has the power to call upon God to send angels to rescue Him, but He willingly chooses not to do so because His crucifixion is part of the divine plan and fulfillment of prophecies in the Scriptures.
So, Jesus willingly sacrificed Himself to atone for the sins of humanity and fulfill the Old Testament prophecies regarding the Messiah.
In this view, Jesus' death was not a result of weakness or helplessness but a demonstration of His love for humanity and obedience to the divine plan. It is seen as a redemptive act that reconciled humanity with God and provided a way for forgiveness of sins and eternal life for those who believe in Him.

To be a Christian is to believe in two opposite things at the same time, to believe God is both perfect and imperfect _God is a servant?:
*“The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus” Acts 3:13*
But if you use reason and read the verse you’ll see how Jesus is a servant of God, the idea that Jesus is God equal to the Father was not only unknown to the writers of the Gospels, it would’ve been considered absolute blasphemy, even Paul didn’t believe Jesus was equal to the Father, he was a henotheistic polytheist who believed in the great God who has never been seen by anyone (1 Timothy 6:16) and believed Jesus as a lesser Lord (Ephesians 1:17) and he also believed in other god he called him “god of this world who blinded others” (2 Cor 4:4)
So he was polytheist, the Trinity is a later development in Christianity.
When you understand the gods of the Greeco-Roman world you’ll get to know how Jesus became a god.
In the Greeco-Roman world gods were not equal, there’s the great God who created everything, there’s a whole tier of gods called the Olympians, then you get to the lowest tier of god those are mangods, half-man and half-god, those are the Emperor of Rome they were made gods when they died, Caligula, Octavius, Caesar Augustus etc, people used to turn their extraordinary men into gods. That’s why you’ll never find Jesus claiming divinty. He was just a prophet, even blind man knew that (John 9:17)
The main teachings of Allah in previous scriptures and Quran is that, He is ahad- One, singular powerful God and there’s no god before him or after him or besides him.
“Hear Israel, the Lord, our God, is One” Shema’ Yisrā’ēl, adōnay ēlōḥēnū adōnay eḥad.”
“Before Me no god was formed,
nor will there be one after Me.” Isaiah 43:10
“Surely this religion of yours is one, and I am your Lord, so fear Me. Yet the people have divided it into different sects, each rejoicing in what they have.” Quran 23:52-53
(16:51) Allah has commanded: "Do not take two gods; for He is but One God. So fear Me alone."
The trinity is false because it teaches that God is three distinct persons but somehow all of them are one, hence you see many Christians say Jesus sits on the right hand of God because they have the image of three beings in heaven, this goes against the fundamental teachings of Almighty, and it is idolatry.

Infact it's islam that is a pagan religion started by a pagan man named muhammad.
This man named muhammad comes along 600yrs after Jesus, and said a angel appeared to him and gives him revelation from God. And *there is not a single witness to confirm his claim.* Infact he didn't even know the angels name. His uncle Waraqa and his wife Kathija told him it *must* be angel Jibrael. The angel didn't introduce himself like he introduced himself to Mary mother of Jesus. *They were just guessing.*
      For your references :
Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 1, Number 3]
      Sahih al-Bukhari 6982
      In-book reference : Book 91, Hadith 1
This man muhammad changes the very essence of God. He started preaching a different god. A god without a Spirit. A god who is a master and his followers are his slaves. Not once does this god tell his people that he loves them unconditionally. Every verse where love is mentioned has a condition applied. The god of the quran speaks very differently from the God of the Old Testament and the New Testament.
      *Then comes the pagan rituals.*
These rituals have no connection to the Old Testament or the New Testament.
      *Kissing of the Black Stone*
The Black Stone was one among many stones and idols venerated at the Kaaba by the pre-Islamic pagans. The Black Stone was kissed during pre-Islamic pagan worship. Though Muhammad threw out 360 other objects at the Ka’aba, he retained this Black Stone and continued the practice of kissing it. It is this same stone that the pre-Islamic pagans once kissed, that Muslims kiss today when visiting Mecca.
      Praying 5 Times Towards Mecca
Pagans prior to Islam would pray five times per day towards Mecca. Muhammad retained for Islam, this pre-Islamic practice, sanctioning it with a story of a night trip to heaven on a mythical beast called al-Buraq. In heaven, the Hadith tells us that Allah demanded 50 prayers per day per Muslim. Upon advice from Moses, Muhammed bargains with Allah and successfully reduces it to five prayers per day.
Fasting on the 10th of Muharram
Muhammad's pagan tribe, the Quraish, fasted on the 10th of Muharram. Though optional, Muhammad retained this pagan practice too.
      Ref: Sahih Bukhari 5:58:172
      Tawaf between Safa and Marwa
Doing Tawaf between Safa and Marwa is an Islamic ritual associated with the pilgrimage to Mecca. Safa and Marwa are two mounts, located at Mecca. This ritual entails Muslims walking frantically between the two mounts, seven times. This was originally a pagan pre-Islamic practice. Muhammad retained it for Islam, sanctioning it with yet another Qur'anic revelation.
      Ref: Sahih Bukhari 2:26:710
A myth was also created about Hagar running between these two mounts in search of water until she found the Zamzam Well. Even if this story were true, why is this reason for people to run up and down between two mounts to please a god? This myth was not created to further justify the ritual, but for another reason; Muhammad was trying to market Zamzam, owned by his family, as a money-making venture.
Ihram is a state a Muslim enters into for his pilgrimage to Mecca. It involves a series of procedures like ritual washing, wearing 'Ihram garments', etc. Ihram was originally a pagan requirement for worshipping idols during pre-Islamic times. Muhammad retained this practice for Islam. Muslims assume Ihram to perform the Hajj or Umrah.
Sahih Bukhari Volume 2, Book 26, Hadith Number 706.
Narrated 'Urwa: I asked 'Aisha : ...But in fact, this divine inspiration was revealed concerning the Ansar who used to assume “Ihram” for worshipping an idol called “Manat” which they used to worship at a place called Al-Mushallal before they embraced Islam, and whoever assumed Ihram (for the idol), would consider it not right to perform Tawaf between Safa and Marwa.

Paul made Christianity the religion of Paul, not of Christ. Paul threw the Christianity of Christ away, completely turning it upside down; making it just the opposite of the original proclamation of Christ.”
Gene Savoy, American theologian and clergyman, declares in his “The Essaei Document:” “Paul’s Christianity is another matter. He taught a different kind of theology than that shared by the original disciples who were schooled under Jesus. Paul was the father of Pagan Christianity; a movement based on a concept completely foreign to Jesus. The teachings of Jesus the Messiah were overshadowed by the teachings of Paul.”
Bishop John S. Spong, Episcopal Bishop of Newark, New Jersey, USA, writes in his book, “Rescuing the Bible from Fundamentalism:” “Paul’s words are not the Words of God. They are the words of Paul- a vast difference.”
Thomas Jefferson, third president of the United States and author of the Declaration of Independence; writes in his “Letter to William Short:” “Of this band of dupes and imposters, Paul was the great Coryphaeus, and the first corrupter of the doctrines of Jesus.”
Thomas Cosette, a Christian scholar, writes in “Hebrew Prophecies of the Coming of Paul:” “This man Paul hijacked what is called the church. But he can only keep those who do not love the truth. Those who still have conscience and will compare his teaching and his testimony to Y’shva’s and the prophets without granting Paul’s testimony (is) the Word of God but (is) just another man’s testimony in light of Jesus’ teachings. my friend you need to study the message of Moses to understand the Message of Paul. But since you do not understand Moses, how will you understand Paul. Moses also taught aspects of the trinity.
Jesus loves Paul, Jesus Christ hand picked PAUL to be His special apostle to the non-jewish world. When you think about it, Paul is basically Jesus's special agent.
My friend this argument of Paul I have heard from my muslim friends for over a decade now. Nevertheless, your statement asserts an idea about Paul without any support. If you knew the history of Paul you will find what you said quite ironic. Saul of Tarsus, who later became known as the Apostle Paul, was a Pharisee Jew. The Pharisees were a prominent Jewish religious sect during the time of Jesus and the early Christian movement. They were known for their strict adherence to Jewish law, including the Torah and the traditions of the elders.
Saul was born in Tarsus, to a Jewish family of the tribe of Benjamin. He was raised as a devout Pharisee and received a thorough education in Jewish law under the renowned teacher Gamaliel. As a Pharisee, Saul held a position of influence within the Jewish community and was zealous for the traditions and beliefs of his people.
Saul's initial encounters with early Christians were marked by opposition and persecution. He saw them as a threat to Judaism and viewed their claims about Jesus as a departure from the Jewish faith. Saul actively participated in the persecution of Christians, even approving the stoning of Stephen, one of the first Christian martyrs.
Become Paul became a Christian he was hunting them down. In fact he was the very Jew who helped create a law to get Christians arrested. So when Muslims speak like Paul created Christianity it is so ridiculous.
What Jesus said to the Jewish leaders I say to you "For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote about me" (John 5:46). Since you believe in Mohammed version of Moses, you do not believe in Moses messages and therefore also not Paul.
Nevertheless, Mohammed has nothing to do with the Prophets and Apostles of the one true God.

@@nujhat16 The trinity in the OT
The term 'angel' has its origins in the Greek word 'angelos' (ἄγγελος), which means 'messenger' in its most basic sense. In addition, God uses this word to call His celestial beings that act as messengers or intermediaries between Himself and humanity.
Nevertheless, it is not exclusive to celestial beings. If you are a human acting as God's messenger, the word may be used for you too. For example, in the book of Malachi, the prophet Malachi is referred to as an 'angel' because he carries a message from God to the people: 'Behold, I send my messenger [angelos], and he will prepare the way before me.' (Malachi 3:1) Here, Malachi is called an 'angel' because he functions as a messenger delivering God's message to the people.
Similarly, in the New Testament, the Greek word 'angelos' is used to describe human messengers. In the book of Revelation, the term 'angel' is used to refer to messengers from a local church: 'And to the angel [angelos] of the church in Philadelphia write...' (Revelation 3:7) In this context, the 'angel' refers to a human messenger or leader within the church community. So, while the primary usage of the term 'angel' in the Bible refers to celestial beings, there are instances where the term is used more broadly to describe human messengers emphasizing their role in delivering a message.
Furthermore, since the term 'angel' can be used for any messenger of God... What about the ultimate Messenger of God?
In Exodus 3, Moses has a remarkable encounter with God at the burning bush. Here, God appears to Moses as an Angel, a messenger, introducing Himself and commissioning Moses to deliver the Israelites from Egypt. This demonstrates that the term "angel" can be used to represent a divine messenger. "Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. Then Moses said, 'I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.' So when the LORD saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, 'Moses, Moses!' And he said, 'Here I am.' Then He said, 'Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.' Moreover, He said, 'I am the God of your father-the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.' And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God." (Exodus 3:1-6)
In Judges 6, Gideon receives a visit from the Angel of the Lord, who informs him of his mission to deliver Israel from the Midianites. The Angel's declaration that Gideon is standing on holy ground and the subsequent instructions resemble the encounters with Moses. In addition, Gideon fears he will die because he has seen the Angel of the Lord face to face: "So Gideon went in and prepared a young goat and unleavened bread from an ephah of flour. The meat he put in a basket, and he put the broth in a pot, and brought them out to Him under the terebinth tree and presented them. The Angel of God said to him, 'Take the meat and the unleavened bread and lay them on this rock, and pour out the broth.' And he did so. Then the Angel of the LORD put out the end of the staff that was in His hand and touched the meat and the unleavened bread; and fire rose out of the rock and consumed the meat and the unleavened bread. And the Angel of the LORD departed out of his sight. Now Gideon perceived that He was the Angel of the LORD. So Gideon said, 'Alas, O Lord GOD! For I have seen the Angel of the LORD face to face.' Then the LORD said to him, 'Peace be with you; do not fear, you shall not die.' So Gideon built an altar there to the LORD, and called it The-LORD-Is-Peace. To this day it is still in Ophrah of the Abiezrites." (Judges 6:19-24)
In Joshua 5, Joshua encounters a figure who identifies himself as the commander of the Lord's army. Joshua falls down and worships this divine figure.
In Genesis 32, Jacob wrestles with a mysterious figure throughout the night. After the struggle, Jacob realizes that he has wrestled with God Himself, as he says, "I have seen God face to face" (Genesis 32:30). God revealed Himself previously in a dream to Jacob and said, "I am the God of Bethel, where you anointed a pillar and made a vow to me. Now arise, go out from this land and return to the land of your kindred'" But see how the writer of Genesis introduces God in this story of Jacob… “Then the angel of God said to me in the dream, 'Jacob.' And I said, 'Here I am”
In Judges 13, Samson's parents have an encounter with the Angel of the Lord, who informs them of Samson's birth. Initially, Samson's father fears they will die because they have seen God face to face (just like Gideon), but his wife assures him that they will not die.
In Genesis 16, Hagar encounters the Angel of the Lord after fleeing from Sarah. The Angel assures Hagar that God has heard her distress and promises to bless her and her son Ishmael. Hagar recognises the Angel as God Himself, exclaiming, "You are a God who sees" (Genesis 16:13).
Interestingly, she says very similar words like Gideon and Samson’s parents after their one-on-one encounter with the Angel of the Lord, "I have now seen the One who sees me."

I'm Muslim because of the overwhelming evidence that Islam is from God and the Quran cannot be manmade. Evidence for the prophethood of Muhammad pbuh is also extensive. They even pass the criteria set by the Bible, which the Bible itself fails. Not to mention that the Quran is preserved and unadulterated, unlike the Bible. In Islam we know for a fact that the words are unchanged, yet Christians are still finding new manuscripts which continue to demonstrate that what they've considered the Bible for thousands of years has contained forgeries. And Islam is logically coherent and satisfies both the mind and the heart, whereas Christianity is logically incoherent and repels both the mind and the heart. That's why we have a net gain of 500,000k from religious switching per year and you have a net loss of 8 million per year from religious switching. Christian doctrine is at odds with the Bible at times, and the Bible is at odds with itself at times as well. In Islam the doctrine is perfectly in line with the Quran, and the Quran is internally consistent. The Bible is full of tons of contradictions, false prophesies, scribal errors, and more, which demonstrate it's not reliable, whereas the Quran does not have any of those issues. In fact, due to the nature in which the Quran was revealed when one analyzes it they reqlize how miraculous th structure really is. I could go on but I think this should be sufficient. If you want me to substantiate any of my claims please let me know. Read the Quran from cover to cover and return to the truth. Come home. Peace.

He knows by using person vs being, he definitely is confusing his audience as they were just looking at each other, uhm, uhm, what? To me, a being is a living bunch of cells. A person is also a being. Don't stereotype or sugarcoat it. The only reason why any Christian would stay Christian after learning the indiscrepancies and the illogical fallacies that are associated with Christianity is because they're lazy. Lazy people often do not wanna get punishments for their sins. They can slaughter or commit the most hideous atrocity and automatically be forgiven by Christ but the moment, they have some physical altercation, they take legal action!

"If Paganism was conquered by Christianity, it is equally true that Christianity was corrupted by Paganism. The pure Deism of the first Christians . . . was changed, by the Church of Rome, into the incomprehensible dogma of the trinity. "None of the gospels mentions an author by name, and it is quite possible that none was written by the person whose name it bears, according to a tradition dating from the end of the 2nd century (which implies that the 4 gospels had no title for almost 2 centuries).
He also tells us on page 57: "Almost two thousand years ago, the evangelists wrote four gospels in Greek, we don't have the original manuscripts from the pen of the evangelists, nor indeed any original of any book of the New Testament, what we have are many handwritten copies in Greek made over some one thousand four hundred years, between 150 and the invention of printing, often, but usually on points of detail, these copies differ from one another due to mistakes or changes by copyists",
On page 58, he goes on to say: "The Gospel sources must be of particular concern to us, because in all likelihood the evangelists were not eyewitnesses to the life of Jesus".
On page 91: "The Catholic Church has decided on canonicity on the basis of long and regular practice in the liturgy, not on the conclusions of scholars about who wrote or copied this or that".
These "original texts" don't exist. What do exist are the transcriptions that appeared between the 4th and 10th centuries. And these are transcriptions of transcriptions.

They never killed Jesus. The matter of the fact that Jesus was praying, sweating and begging God to save him from his enemies in Matthew 26:39 and Luke 22:44, clearly shows he never wanted to die, and God heard his prayers and saved him as prophesied in the full Pslam 91 chapter and the following verses:
Pslam 91:10-16. Because you have made the Lord your dwelling place-
the Most High, who is my refuge-
10 no evil shall be allowed to befall you,
no plague come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder; the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot.
14 “Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name.
15 When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”
Pslam 18:3. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
Pslam 34:6. This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
Pslam 34:19-20. 19. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.
    20. He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
Pslam 41:2.The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.
Pslam 20:6. Now I know that the LORD saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven With the saving strength of His right hand.
Pslam 118:17. I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the LORD has done.
    Hebrews 5:7. Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;

American Christian priest, biblical scholar, theologian and exegete Raymond E. Brown [1928-1998 G] said:
"Approximately three thousand manuscripts of the Greek New Testament, copied between the 2nd and 17th centuries, have been preserved (in whole or in part), to which must be added more than two thousand handwritten lectionaries containing sections (pericopes) of the New Testament arranged for liturgical reading since the 7th century. These witnesses to the NT text do not agree with each other on many points, but few of these differences are significant. No autograph or original manuscript of a New Testament book has been preserved; the differences occurred during the copying of the original. *Not all are the result of copyists' errors; some are the result of deliberate changes.* Copyists sometimes felt obliged to *improve* the Greek of the received text, to *modernize* spelling, *add* explanatory phrases, *harmonize* the Gospels, and even *omit* a point they considered doubtful. One might think that the oldest preserved copies (in whole or in part) of the Greek NT are the best guide back to the originals; but this is not necessarily so."

Just listening to this made me facepalm, a PERSON with their OWN WILL, CANNOT be ONE OF THE SAME as ANY OTHER BEING! ....... The Father has his own WILL, The Son has his own WILL, and apparently the Holy Spirit have its own WILL, THREE DIFFIRENT WILLS MEAN THREE DIFFERENT BEINGS! NOT ONE!!
WHY IS THIS SO HARD FOR CHRISTIANS TO UDNERSTAND !!!!

there is ONLY ONE GOD(ALLAH SWT)..is that hard to understand?.Yet,these musyriquun still defend their twisted belief. Real Christians once only worship what Jesus A.S worshipped, then the followers after he ascended especially the catholic church changed it and make this idiocy and headaches.

All the Prophets were Muslims who submitted to the will of God:
Qur’an 22:78. And strive for Allah with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty. [It is] the religion of your father, Abraham. Allah named you “Muslims” before [in former scriptures] and in this [revelation] that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over the people.
    Abraham:
Qur’an 3:67. Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was one inclining toward truth, a Muslim [submitting to Allah]. And he was not of the polytheists.
    Jacob and his sons:
Qur’an 2:132-133. 132. And Abraham instructed his sons [to do the same] and [so did] Jacob, [saying], “O my sons, indeed Allah has chosen for you this religion, so do not die except while you are Muslims.”
    133. Or were you witnesses when death approached Jacob, when he said to his sons, “What will you worship after me?” They said, “We will worship your God and the God of your fathers, Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac - one God. And we are Muslims [in submission] to Him.”
Joseph: Qur’an 21:101. My Lord, You have given me [something] of sovereignty and taught me of the interpretation of dreams. Creator of the heavens and earth, You are my protector in this world and in the Hereafter. Cause me to die a Muslim and join me with the righteous.”
    Disicples were Muslims too.
Qur’an 3:52. But when Jesus felt [persistence in] disbelief from them, he said, “Who are my supporters for [the cause of] Allah?” The disciples said,” We are supporters for Allah. We have believed in Allah and testify that we are Muslims [submitting to Him].
Qur’an 5:111. And [remember] when I inspired to the disciples, “Believe in Me and in My messenger Jesus.” They said, “We have believed, so bear witness that indeed we are Muslims [in submission to Allah].”

God has no sons. The meaning of the term “Son of God” in the Old and New Testament.
In the Bible, the term “Son of God” means a righteous servant of God. It does not mean literally divine son of God. The Oxford Dictionary of the Jewish Religion confirms that in Jewish idiom “Son of God” is clearly metaphorical.
In previous Scriptures, pious believers were called “sons of God.” It was not only Jesus who was “son of God” in the bible; other Prophets were also called “son of God.” For example:
David: Psalm 2:7. I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
Solomon: 2 Samuel 7:13-14. He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.
I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:
Adam: Luke 3:38. Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.
God has no real son. Jesus, David, Solomon, etc. were only close servants of God

I remember david wood once stated that each chapter of quran is quran while trying to prove the 'existence' of trinity but in reality each chapter of Quran is PART of Quran not the whole quran itself, trinity said god is one being in three person but this led to multiple heresies such partialism or modalism.trinity is just their way of trying to excusing themselves.

World famous author, Leo Tolstoy said:
“Muhammad has always been standing higher than the Christianity. He does not consider god as a human being and never makes himself equal to God. Muslims worship nothing except God and Muhammad is his Messenger. There is no any mystery and secret in it. The law of the Qur’an will prevail in the world because it agrees with reason and wisdom. I have come to understand that humanity needs only a Divine law to establish the truth and destroy falsehood. Islamic law will encompass the entire world because it is consistent with reason and agrees with wisdom and justice.”

Jesus is not god. Jesus said he has a god.
Mark 12:29. Jesus replied, “The most important commandment is this: ‘Listen, O Israel! The Lord our God is the one and only Lord .
John 17:3. Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
John 20:17. Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
Jesus also made it very clear that he can do nothing, and did not like people equating him to god:
Matthew 19:17. And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one,
John 5:30. I can of mine own self do nothing:

    Trinity in a nutshell
    God = 1 being in 3 person
    Jesus : god
    Father : god
    Holy spirit : god
    Jesus : 1 being in 3 person
    Father : 1 being in 3 person
Holy spirit : 1 being in 3 person
So we have 3 being , 9 person

You cannot use logic when trying to explain the trinity, it never works, you just create more problems. That's why many Christian scholars avoid trying to explain it, so they just call it a "mystery."

The following verse is deemed as a forgery by Christian scholars, and has been thrown out of the modern day translations. This verse is nowhere to be found in any Greek manuscripts until the 15th century. It was added to deceive Christians.
1 John 5:7. For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
